I wish I could afford Nordstroms. As it is, I usually just end up walking around and gazing at all the expensive stuff that I'll never be able to buy as a starving actor. That being said, every time I have entertained the idea of purchasing something here, the staff is always really helpful, and I always end up finding what I want, even if it might cost me my first born child. Every once in a while they have discount racks, and I love those!! This location is always super clean and shiny! I miss the greeter guy though, he was my favorite part of Nordstroms. Also their cafe is pretty tasty!!!! read more

I have to admit, Nordstrom is my local addiction. My husband and I both shop here at least once every 2 weeks... Downside? Shop here often enough and it will empty your bank account. Luckily, we are pretty good at money management, so we splurge here! My husband just recently got his new suit and wardrobe here and was treated amazingly wonderful by a guy names Dave. Anytime you have to do some shopping in the Men's Department, head over to the suits and ask for Dave to help you out - he is a lifesaver! As for myself, I lucked out and got this $410 dress on sale for $199. SCORE! I am beyond happy with it - both quality and custom fit (thanks to complimentary tailoring). Locally, this is my go-to place. I highly suggest you shop here...because it is awesome. read more

So today I was on the hunt for a new bra. (One of my least favorite things to do) I decided to make my first stop Nordstrom's thinking "hey why not give it a try". I'm so glad I did, Carmen helped me find not one but two amazing bras that I'm so thankful for! Carmen was not only helpful with just finding the right fit she was also very knowledgable on all of the bras. Pretty much if you're looking for a bra come here and as for Carmen! (: read more

Quality and value. If you buy clothing with the mentality of lasting value. This is the place. Fantastic service and easy returns. As a professional shopper, the only better store is Nordstrom Rack. If you can be patient, wait till it goes on sale. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Made me jump through hoops just "picking up" things that I thought I had already purchased online. Two workers needed multiple IDs from me (over 3) I even had the online receipt. I also explained that my card was a debit and that no one could spend money unless they knew the code. The lady smiles and says "sorry, I need to do this because of the charged amount" NO FUCKING SHIT. I bought only 3 things: 2 shirts and a little skin care cream.. and that shit came out to be over $400. I don't know if it was because maybe I wasn't dressed all nice and bougie or what but she was making it so hard to purchase shit from the store, do you want customers to buy your expensive shit or not? Fuck you nordstrom, you lost my business. read more

Excellent customer service! I'm not a high-end spender nor am I on a first name basis when I shop at Nordstroms but I was surprised with how far they really take care of you. I bought a Hugo Boss Pasolini suit over two years ago and the wools pants were damaged beyond repair. I walked into the store with my coat and asked the sales associate to help me find a pair of matching slacks with the coat. According to the associate, the suit was out of production and no matching slacks were found (even with the current Pasolini). As a consolation, he offered to exchange a new Pasolini for my old one on the condition that I bring the damaged pants back, no questions asked. Since my pants were no longer with me, I couldn't take his offer. Instead, he was willing to sell the entire suit ($795) for the price of the replacement pants I planned on buying ($175) on the condition that the store kept my coat. I walked out of the store with a new Pasolini suit for $175 and for them to keep my stained and weathered coat! Thank you for the wonderful customer service! read more

This review is for the Shoe department, in particular, David. My mom and I went to Nordstrom's this afternoon to look for shoes (as a part of her mother of the bride ensemble). David gladly got us a size 7 and when that didn't seem to fit right, he got us those slippy things. When my mom requested a 6.5, he went and got it. He was not pushy at all which is much appreciated. Thanks, David! read more

I love the outstanding customer service here. Went in here to kill some time and to look at some clothes I might be getting soon. The minute I entered the men's section the people there wanted to legit help me. What was also funny is some people thought I worked there. I was decked out in burberry gear for work so it's understandable. Anyways the service is consistently awesome here. So is the clothes. Just wish the other customers were too. Tone the snob nob down. read more

I shop at Nordstrom's quite a bit, I've purchased David Yurman jewelry, a lot of burberry products and even things for my baby. I purchased a wallet a few days ago as a Christmas gift and I paid cash, I actually ended up buying a Kate Spade cat purse at another Nordstrom's for the gift and wanted to return the wallet. I had my receipt and the unused item. I made the return and I was asked for my license, I refused because I don't see any need for my personal information to be in their system especially if it's a cash transaction and I have my receipt. I refused and was told I could only get a gift card if I didn't want to provide identification. NO WHERE on their receipt does it mention needing an ID to return an item. I could understand it if I were returning a product with no receipt but this absurd, the "manager" Ashley was beyond rude and tried to give me lame excuse about the patriot act, I called corporate to let them know she's not only rude but wrong. I'm returning the purse as well because I refuse to give Nordstrom's another dollar, I guess Bloomingdales it is! In today's modern world where I can get things for cheaper online customer service is important. Things like this are the reason why so many retailers are hurting, i only spend a couple of thousand dollars a year here so my business won't be missed but when enough people get fed up they'll go the way of major retailers that closed. Never again will I shop here read more

I normally don't take the time to write negative reviews but this experience really pushed me over the edge. I ordered a hat on line. Unfortunately, it was too small and the Nordstrom in Arcadia didn't carry it so I ordered a different size. I went in to return it with tags, shipping label and original packaging all included. I was in the dress department and Sharon said she could help me. She starts processing the return and then mumbles under her breath "this isn't our product ". Knowing perfectly well she was mistaken I chose to stay quiet and give her time to figure it out. She then turned around and whispered something to her co worker. Wow! I finally asked what was wrong and she said I needed to take it down to accessories. I walked over to customer service where she quickly processed the return and couldn't understand why the comment was made. I understand that it's Nordstrom and people do shady things. I am not one of those people and you made me feel as if I was trying to steal a $46 hat. I will never shop there again. read more

This is service and this is the standard of what retailing should be. Generally courteous salespeople who are empowered. ALL other retail establishments (read this - Macy's) should aspire to this standard and hold their employees and store associates to this standard. Nordstrom will thrive (even in a recession) because they are doing the right things to service and support their customers. Customers are the ones who have made Nordstrom where it stands today and Nordstrom has not forgotten that ! Kudos to Nordstrom !!! read more

Their shoe department is one of the best. Guys are handsome, girls are pretty, and they all are extremely professional, courteous, and serve you with a smile. There is an amazing selection of shoes.... I am drooling just thinking about it. :D ~~ People always like their return policy, and I have been extremely please with my purchases here over the years. The only one time I had to return my purchase was a bebe platform pump. I really liked the style, but it was scratching my ankle... they gladly understand my situation and promptly refunded my purchase. I am a Nordstrom fan for life. read more

I was shopping here yesterday and when I was waiting for a cashier she said one moment I'll be with you. So I waited for mind you no one was in line. I patiently waited until both female cashiers were done doing whatever they had to do. Suddenly a white lady approached them and both cashiers were able to attend to her and took her clothes for her to purchase them. I thought it was unprofessional of these two women and I said wow so I guess my brown skin isn't noticeable and I haven't been standing here for five minutes. My money is green too and I work just as hard as the next person. I was very offended and ended up leaving. You seriously need to talk to your employees this is no way to treat a customer. Did they apologize no it's sad how Nordstrom people work. read more

We were unsure of the 1901 brand. And I asked a lady whether the sizes were standard or ran big. She said in a hurry, "they are trimmed to fit" without looking what item we were asking about. True, the polo shirts did say Trimmed to fit. But the jackets weren't. Joey came to our rescue. He took off his coat, tried on the Jacket and we bought the jacket. Nordstrom is lucky to have someone like Joey in the Men's Department. Thank you! read more

Thank you Tony N. at the shoes department for an excellent & professional service! Big thumbs up!

Nordstrom truly is as good as it gets. Excellent customer service. Knowledgeable staff (who know how to direct you to where you need to go). I also love their "buy online and pick up in store" feature. It's so easy and so convenient! I also love their no-hassel return policy for online purchases. They recently remodeled the entire store so it has a clean and sexy vibe. And, with the addition of the underground parking, getting in and out of the mall is a snap! The only department that's ever given me grief was the cosmetics counter - one brand rep is a pill to deal with, so I avoid her completely. The other time, I was given wrong information and horrible service over the phone - and incorrectly charged - but, one phone call to the department manager cleared up the issue with prompt and efficient service. read more

This Nordstrom has really gone downhill. I have been going and shopping here since I was a toddler. I was looking around for 20 minutes last week in the women's shoe department and then found a pair of heels I wanted to purchase, not one person greeted me nor asked me if I needed help when I was looking. I made the transaction easy because I already knew what size I needed and I purchased it the same time I asked for a particular heel. I had to wait in line at the register to even get assistance. You would think after not being helped and having to wait at the cash register that someone would at least thank me for waiting. Unfortunately, no one did. Their department wasn't even busy since it was during the week. I have been to Nordstrom plenty of times when they have been busy, but at least they take the time to greet you and ask if you need assistance. I am sad to say, but I have to change my 5 star review down to a three. This review is only for the women's shoe department. The bag, cosmetics, women's clothing, and men's clothing department get a 4 star review. I do miss the days when I was greeted with a warm hello and the sales associates were genuinely nice people. read more

Shitty staff. Go to another Nordstrom if you can. The managers are unprofessional and the employees are always so lazy with attitudes. Instead of helping customers, they have conversations with each other and the customers while the line builds up. I want my money back. read more

All the curbside pick up and in-store pick up to protect you from Covid were only there to protect you when you shop, not when you're fallen victim of a Nordstrom credit card fraud. I was told that I "had to step into their store" to verify my identity. I applied for a Nordstrom store card online durig the holidays to buy a gift for a curbside pick up at this location. Everything went well until I got a call from their fraud department. Apparently, someone managed to activiate my card and "physically" shopped at their store and spent thousands. Now, the question was how they could let someone to spend on their card without checking their ID? Since the pandemic hit, I never set foot into their store. I was told that if I wanted to verify my identity at curbside, just like I would for online shopping, I needed to "work it out" with the store manager. I don't understand why I needed to work it out with Norstrom instead of them work it out with their store manager. After all, they managed to let someone to spend thousands without checking their ID. I have been shopping at Nordstrom for over 20 years. Unfortunately, their card services and how they failed to coordinate with their own store just lost me as a customer forever. Buyers beware. Just like any stores, they only want to serve you when you're spending money. It's that simple. Nordstrom is no exception as much as they are known for their services. read more

Recently made a visit to Nordstrom's to get my Marc Jacobs watch repaired due to a broken band. I was told by the saleswoman that if they sent it back to the manufacturer, it would cost $60 for them to replace my band. The saleswoman shared with me that sometimes they refer customers to a watch repair store called Fast-Fix inside the mall. I visited Fast-Fix and showed them my watch. I found out that the band didn't need to be replaced. All they would need to do is remove the broken link. The gentleman told me it would cost $10 to fix and it would take 30 minutes. He said it may be a little tighter since a link would be removed. I decided to get it fixed and came back in 30 minutes. My watch fit me perfectly and was done in the time promised. I'm happy with the results and Nordstrom's saved me $50. I went back to the saleswoman and told her it worked out and gave her a high five. I told her I would be back in the future. My experience at Nordstrom was Great for what I needed. read more

I went to Nordstrom during its annual sale this year and bought a decent amount of stuff online for pickup at the store, including a pair of Allen Edmonds shoes. Whoever was responsible for completing my online order at the store decided to give me a used pair of shoes with scratches on it, pawning it off like a new pair. When I got the shoe, it was already laced and there were no cloth shoe bags that usually come with Allen Edmond shoes. If the experience ended there, this would have been a 1 star review for a store that advertised a new pair of shoes for nearly 300 but sold me a used pair. But then Matt from the shoe department helped me out. I remember he had sold me a pair of Carlyles that I really liked the year before. He promptly got me a new pair of shoes and gave me some good advice regarding others. Matt gets 7 out of 5 stars for his customer service. Nordstrom, you may be a used car dealer, but you certainly didn't hire a used car salesman with Matt. read more

This is hands down the worst Nordstrom I have ever been to. Every once in awhile I will visit this location. Each and every time I browse the Rail department, I consistently get ignored. I look and see a whole group of customer service staff just standing around, talking to each other, not helping anyone - and not one person has offered to greet me, let alone assist me after 15 minutes. I always end up putting back what I've been holding for purchase, and don't even browse the rest of the section because of the blatant disregard for customers/humans! If I have been judged for my appearance and thought to have had below average means, that mistake falls on your hands. Why would I purchase from this Nordstrom when I have people waiting on me hand-and-foot at just about every other location I've been to?! Usually I don't leave reviews but today I was absolutely astonished by the customer service in the Mens suit department. I was greeted by an older gentleman, who was very helpful. A few minutes after I was greeted by the gentlmen, I asked a heavier-set blonde woman a question, and she didn't even bother to acknowledge me, she replied with the snobbiest remarks I have ever heard. Probably the most unprofessional experience I have encountered. I have been selling, tailoring and altering suits for half a decade and I would never treat one of my clients the way I was treated today. Absolutely terrible service. Last but not least, she did not seem very knowledgeable when it came down to questions about cuts and styles. I am going to have to give nordstroms 1 star for the their dispecable customer service. I have recieved better service at Nordstrom Rack, and even DTLA. I would recommend going somewhere else with better customer service.. Bloomingdales and Saks are way better options. read more

This place consistently offers POOR, despicable customer service! I can't believe some of these people are still working at the store. Are they a union and can't be fired? Does customer service no longer important to Nordstrom? I came in to return a pair of shoes, the women's shoes manager could not find the transaction, it got escalated to the MIC, Salon Barajas. If she's ever MIC when you're in need of help at the store, I highly suggest you return until she's off from work and another MIC starts his or her shift. Salon is so incompetent. I can't she is MIC. She couldn't find the transaction, even though her fake smile leads you to believe she's trying to help you. She did some research, came back to me and said I found the transaction, but it was purchase elsewhere at a lower price. I told her that merchandise at the other store was also returned. We had to go up to the customer service department to look at the transaction and sure enough, she saw the item was indeed returned. She looked shocked herself and dumb founded. Initially, she felt so proud she resolved the issue. She soon finds herself being baffled and confused at the whole situation. So you know what she does? She breaks down and literally tells me she can NO LONGER help me. The issue must be escalated to the store manager, Marcille Hughes. Can you believe that? She can't seem to handle a complicated return and she's MIC. Unbelievable. I write to Marcille about how I was inhumanely treated and belittled by Salon. Instead of apologizing Salon's comments, she stated in her email that she "stands by Salon's decision making," What a joke! Of course she would, she would make her employee look bad if she didn't. She would make Salon appear incompetent if she didn't stand by Salon's initial decision to not accept the return. This company is going through fraud and they automatically think everyone is trying to fraud them. If I was, I wouldn't be returning an item that cost $200. Save yourself a trip, if you've never been here, to never come here. For those who have been unhappy with their services, they are in agreement that this store lacks professional and respectable customer service, a basic staples. Go to any other Nordstroms location and you will not have a problem. I have not had a problem at any other store, but the Santa Anita/Arcadia Nordstroms. i have always sung praises about this nordstrom: customer service, organization, greeter, overall "classiness". i've shopped here for over 10 years and this is seriously one of my favorite stores of all time. BUT.. after today i'm going to think twice about ever coming back. i headed to nordstrom after work around 5pm to buy a pair of boots as a last minute present for my mom. i go to the shoe section, which is usually my favorite section of the store, quickly spot a pair of beautiful brown leather boots and i go to pay. a blonde girl with really red lipstick rang me up. here is where my experience is horrible enough for me to consider whether or not i will come back again. basically, i could sense her condescendence right away. yes i was wearing scrubs. i work in a research lab and rushed to the mall after work so i didn't have time to change. no, i was not wearing makeup nor did i spend too much time on my hair this morning. she gave me a sour look the whole time and when i asked her if i could get the boots gift wrapped, she snaps quickly and says "sorry, we don't carry boxes that big". i look to the side where a few other sales associates were wrapping gifts for customers at a table and i see an associate placing a pair of boots into a big box, so i politely ask the girl if i could get a box like that as well. instead of responding to my question, she pretends she didn't hear me and after a long silence finally looks up says "sorry, what did you say?" on my last nerve, i repeat my question, and she simply says "no that box is for a different department". BITCH, THE OTHER GIRL JUST WRAPPED A PAIR OF BOOTS IN THERE WHAT OTHER DEPARTMENT COULD IT BE? i've never in my life felt this disappointed in nordstrom for hiring such a rude person with absolutely no sense of respect or customer service. she finished ringing me up, tossed (and i mean TOSSED) my credit card back to me after she swiped it. and messily stuffed my boots into a bag too small and shoved me my bag without saying thank you or good bye. the worst part, i turn around after i walk away and i see her rolling her eyes and shaking her head. i completely understand that yes, it's christmas eve; the mall is a zoo, and you're probably dead tired from running to and from the stockroom a billion times to find sizes, but seriously, you work at nordstrom, not the 99 cents store. as a matter of fact, i'm pretty sure the workers at the 99 cents store are much nicer and would NEVER treat customers this way. just because you work here does not entitle you to act like you own the place. may i remind you, YOU SELL SHOES FOR A LIVING AT A RETAIL STORE. nordstrom brands itself with an image of class and luxury, but with employees like this, they might as well be a flea market. read more

This review is for Sara (blue/green eyes) in customer service. I came in yesterday morning to pick up the two candles my mom purchased online. Sara would not give me the candles because I did not have my mom's credit card on me. I informed her that the order was under my name, and my mother authorized for me to pick up the candles- she refused to give them to me without seeing the credit card, although I had an ID and picture text messages of the credit card from my mom. Clearly I was not trying to pull a fast one, I simply wanted my candles which had already been payed for. I would have been fine if she was polite and helpful throughout the process, except it seemed for some reason Sara felt the need to be hostile and rude. Maybe she was just having a bad day, but her treatment was despicable, especially around the holidays. Since she refused to give me my candles, I ask for a refund. As she walks away to process it, I point out to my boyfriend how incredibly rude she was being. Sara returns, denying me my candles nor my refund. She had an emotional outburst and continually cut me off at every sentence. Literally, in the middle of my sentence, she says "Bye!" Sara, put your childish emotions aside, and give me a receipt for my refund. That is your job. Do your job. After denying me a refund/receipt for the 10th time, she then assures me I will be emailed one by 10pm. Well, its 11 AM the next morning and I have not received an email, nor has my mother. We are both furious as we typically experience great customer service from Nordstrom. Nordstrom, please hire more competent employees to manage customer service. read more

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!! Do NOT shop here! I've always had good experience with Nordstrom but recently a bag I purchased from them was literally broken after just 2 years use.
