Incredibly rude customer service over the phone. I had a couple of questions regarding returns and I was transferred to possibly the worst associate I've ever encountered. She literally spoke at 50 mph and was about to hang up on me and didn't even have the decency to ask if there was any thing else she can help me with. I'm so disappointed with the whole experience, I don't think I will be shopping at Nordstrom for some time. read more

Yuck, customer service is lacking even more in the shoe department than before. This one curly haired girl in the BP department was NOT happy when I asked if she could help me. I was even kind enough to ASK--I could've just been like, "Get me this shoe." Yeah, it's the half yearly sale and you're probably stressed, but put on a FREAKING smile and don't give me an exasperated look. SUCK IT UP. If you aren't willing to help people, don't work in retail--especially not at Nordstrom! They are known for their service, and you're bringing them down. Go work at the DMV or something, dummy. read more

EXPERT FASHION ADVICE POUR HOMME: BUYING COLOGNE I finally used up my favorite bottle of Issey Miyake and came to Nordstrom to look for a new scent. Most women already know this, but few of us men understand that when shopping for a fragrance, it's important to spritz a sample on your skin instead of on a tester card. A brand may smell differently when mixed with your unique body odor. It's also a good idea to borrow a trained salesperson's nose, and that's why it matters whether you shop at Nordstrom versus a discount store run by someone who looks like your uncle. I sprayed some Terre d'Hermes on my arm and asked the sales associate to sniff it...she immediately succumbed to my spell. This leads to my next tip, gentlemen: spend as much as you can for a high-end scent. It's a scientific fact that a woman can detect and process smells 2 times better than a shark. Nordstrom carries all the haute brands (no worries about counterfeits), and I tested several on my arms. When I went home, I announced to my sweetie that I'd been shopping for men's fragrances. I would not want her to think that I just came back from an orgy with multiple men. read more

OK. Not as crowded as other Nordstrom's. It has all the stock you need, but I find the staff here sightly less friendly than other locations. Recently came to the beauty counter to get some help and it took about 10 minutes before a single associate acknowledged I was there. I also find it annoying to return items because if you buy from different departments, you have to return your items to different departments. It's just a painful way to return and should be streamlined! read more

I'm writing about the MAC in this Nordstrom. I wanted to get me some new foundation, liquid liner, and gel liner. This petite little girl approached me asking me if I need some help. Of course I said yes, and I told her what I needed. Honestly..she looked like a deer caught in the headlights. She just looked so afraid and self conscious while helping me the whole time. I felt pretty uneasy. When she had all of my products in her hand, an elder lady of maybe 50+ years just looked at the MAC artist and was like giving her the dead stare. She was pretty mean to her saying, "I NEED HELP." The MAC girl was saying she thought she was going to look around and the lady proceeded to say, "No..you completely left me when I needed your assistance. Are you going to continue helping me or not?" The girl said, "of course..I just thought.." Old lady, "Well obviously you're helping her now." (Pointing at me.) Mac girl- "Oh no, I can help you." And she leaves me... really really bad customer service. She doesn't know how to handle multiple customers. She's not the most confident types, and you can tell she gets scared or something. But, for the most part, she took my products, so I was left with nothing. Luckily, another artist, who was talkative and very helpful helped me out. THANK GOODNESS. Don't like it there though. I'll stick to my Ghettoria MAC. read more

Came here to return a bag that I bought online for $1190.00 because the bag was small I can't put anything in it since that it will be light and the strap from the bag starts falling off from my shoulder bring it back to Nordstrom handbag designer counter and the manager told me that she can't do a return because the paper that wrapped around the strap were removed if I don't removed that paper how can I try it on my shoulder ? She keeps insisted that she will not make a return for me no matter what . I feel I have been treated unfairly through Nichole . I called customer service and tell them what happened they sent me to another manager his name is Anthony he was very helpful and willing to do my return without a question ask. Nichole Brang you failed if you keep doing what you doing ike you did to me and your position will soon end up in No where if you said you are a manager in charge you should know how to handle the problem right ! By the way Nichole I got my bag returned. read more

Nordstrom Santa Anita - This is what she wrote on the card manager in charge . - Department Stores Near Me - Arcadia, California

I used to shop at Nordstrom's because I thought they sold quality products and if there is a problem they will fix it, not the case at the Arcadia store. I bought a pair of fidelity jeans that wore a hole in less than a year of regular use. By my evaluation the fabric was not strong enough to withstand regular uses, not the quality product I was expecting. The return policy must have changed because instead of offering to replace them, they offer to patch it for half the cost of the jeans (not cheap). Living on a student budget I was expecting to be investing in a quality product, but what I got was far less and was left to deal with the mess myself. Nordstrom's Arcadia has lost a life long customer. read more

Wow, the NARS counter at this Nordie's is awesome! I was repeatedly asked if I needed help and the makeup artist was very helpful in my selections. Yes, I did indeed go for the orange eyeshadow (which looks rockin' on). And because I'm obviously a makeup junkie, I qualified for a free lipgloss. Yay! Nordstroms is just an oasis of calm in the middle of pre-Black Friday madness. I do have to say though find parking on the other end of the mall because they're redoing the parking lot and so there's no more valet in front of Nordies (not that I think it's worth the valet). read more

Out of all the Nordstroms I've been to, I feel like I've received the best customer service at this location. Usually at other locations I feel like the workers either stare me down cause they think I might steal something or they completely ignore me because they think I'm not going to buy anything. Thank you to Mario G. at the women's shoes department for the awesome customer service today! read more

I live alllll the way in Cerritos and has a Nordie that just opened not too long ago.... but i shop at the Nordie in Arcadia :) I bought a SUPER CUTE blazer by Seventy Two Changes from Gavin in the St. John's department. Gavin is an amazing sales associate! He helped me out with my transaction and even wrote me a card a couple weeks afterwards reassuring my purchase was a good one. I will definitely return for Gavin's amazing services :) read more

I love Nordstroms! So it doesn't have the cachet of Saks, Neiman, Bendel's, or Barney's... but Arcadia is two skips and three hops away from being Podunk in terms of high fashion anyway (a lot of Kate Spade and Louis Vuitton stay-at-home moms, but few Chloe, YSL and MJ-appreciating 20somethings). Which means that there are occasionally very expensive things (mostly bags) marked down significantly, and unlike other Nordies locations such as in The Grove or anywhere else on the West side, they're not snapped up instantly. By the way, the corollary is that Uggs in every color and every size are always to be found here. Another upside to being from the suburbs and not surrounded by skinny blond chicks. (Not that I wear Uggs or anything...) I think my review is mostly for this specific Nordies because it's in my hometown, but I just love this department store in general. My old roommate used to buy shoes from Nordies, wear them literally for an entire season, then return them - no questions asked. This is horrifying for the rest of us, I admit, but the truth is that the stuff just ends up at Nordstroms Rack. They literally have the best return policy on earth. It's even better than Costco's ever since Costco decided that appliances could only be returned within three months. Also, you don't need a receipt to return anything - they have everything they need in the little barcode sticker they stick on your stuff. Another major, major plus going for Nordstroms is that most of their stuff is online, as well. Other stores have disgusting, scary user interfaces, but Nordstroms's is clean, easy to use, and, most importantly, reflects all the sale prices that are in store. And whomever decided that it would be shrewd to allow customers to keep things in-cart for two weeks clearly went to b-school. Managerial master stroke, I tell you. I suppose the downside is that now I rarely have to step in the store, but really... does it matter when the online store is so good and has stuff so well priced? They do have one major artifice going against them, though, in the form of walking your purchase over to you around the counter instead of just handing it over the counter. Is this supposed to make me feel happier or something? This specific Nordies also has a really friendly old guy who stands near the exit (to the lot, not the mall) and greets everyone coming in. I have no idea who he is and why he's there, but he makes me happy, if only because I only see him in THIS Nordstroms, and THIS is where I grew up and where I have always seen him. I know I'm singing praises and sprinkling fairy dust everywhere here, but keep in mind that the shoe department is also a little classic Nordstroms - namely, some of the clerks are really egregious snobs. They size you up and down to see whether you're worth sidling up to only to fawn over you after you make a purchase - even if they are just Uggs. P.S. They've also recently begun stocking Jo Malone. Score again, most likely from the same guy who decided on the extended in-cart time. (If you still don't know what I'm talking about with respect to the shopping cart thing, try adding something to your Shopbop cart and then leaving your computer for a while. You get a load of "your session has timed out" poo.) read more

Shopped on the second floor today. This is how the part of a conversation went with a sales associate: Nordstrom sales assoc: Are you Vietnamese? I'm Vietnamese. Me: Oh no, I'm not. I'm Taiwanese. Nordstrom sales assoc: Ohh Thai! I love Thai food! ....really? Are you kidding me? 1. You're Asian. I expect you to be more knowledgeable about differences between Asian countries and cultures. 2. You work in Arcadia... land of the Taiwanese and Taiwanese Americans. You really have no excuse to confuse Taiwanese and Thai people when you spend half your day in San Gabriel Valley. Don't be so ignorant. Educate yourself and make the effort to familiarize with your customer base and demographics. Wouldn't want you to be walking around Nordstrom insulting half your customers. read more

Again for the third time a terrible experience. I came in for shoes, ties and possibly some custom suits. I had to track down a person in each area to help and it was clear they had no interest in doing so. There are tons of sales people just shooting the breeze. I prefer to shop here as my prior experiences elsewhere have been amazing, unfortunately compared to other locations this one is terrible. I'll be looking to make purchases elsewhere, as most high end locations guarantee returns on the same level as Nordstrom. With this being the case the only separation is service, to which they've failed at. read more

The selection here is great, and I love to just stroll around before choosing something to purchase. It's really clean, and even though the place may appear as 'high end', the customer service reps are very friendly and there's no snooty vibe towards people who don't 'fit the image'. The bathrooms are always clean and there's even a lounge where women can relax or look after their babies. Even though they have the most liberal return policies, the quality of the products they put on the shelf already prevents most of that. Whenever something is at Nordstrom, I can bet that it's a good quality. All Nordstrom stores are awesome combined with great customer service but this place is particular - due to a chronic illness, I fell sick here before and the customer service reps really went out of their way to help me. It was embarrassing but I was really touched that one of the assistant managers sat by me for a while and brought me tea and pain killers while I was rolling around in pain LOL. She even said that I can call her if I don't make it home or if I need extra help (I managed to get home safely). I forgot her name but I really wish I can recommend her for an employee award or something. It's these types of things that really gives this place a good name. read more

The last two times I went to buy clothes at Nordstom were amazing! I walked in with a t-shirt and shorts and in 90 minutes the mens department transformed me into a real business man. They knew exactly what I needed and they were up on the latest styles. Most of all, I LOVED the customer service. The other time I went to the casual men's department. Some guy with a cap, tatoos and earings asked if he could help. At first I was a bit nervous. However, he was not only knowledable and friendly, he had a great sense of style. I wish every company could learn from Nordstrom's customer service. 5 stars + read more

Just wanted to vent about a poor customer service experience here. Usually this Nordstrom's is great, as most are. But recently in the young women's BP section, I had a bad experience with a customer service rep. First, she forgot to put one of the items I had purchased in my bag, I could have left without it if I didn't notice (majorly idiotic!). Second, I used a $20 Nordstrom voucher, and even though I mentioned I had it, she rang up my credit card without scanning it. So then she had to start an entirely new transaction, this time she scanned my voucher. She said she had voided the previous charge, but a week or 2 later I check my statement online, and lo and behold it's still there! So I had to spend 15 minutes on the phone with a Nordstrom card customer service rep to resolve this issue. (Love the customer service for the Nordstrom card, btw, highly recommended). But this in-store worker was just completely incompetent and made a relatively simple purchase a way bigger headache than it needed to be. Thanks for nothing, sales lady. It's a shame I can't remember her name. read more

It has been a few years since I visited this location. Had a long list of items that I needed to pick up from Cle de Peau and Sisley Paris. Most of them were products I have used in the past and I could have easily ordered on Nordstrom.com. Since I was in the area, I thought would check out the counters and see what's new. The Sisley counter was packed, so I decided to start off at the CdP side. Was a little surprised when I noticed the sales person (RK) behind the CdP counter took a deep breath, sighed and half rolled her eyes before she reluctantly greeted me with a hello. Thought it was odd because if I had any complaints about my Nordstrom shopping experience in the past, it would be their sales people being overly enthusiastic about showing me products. Well I assumed in the beginning that she was having a bad day. Said hello back politely and asked her how she was doing. Then I proceeded to telling her that I had a list of things I was interested in purchasing. I was interested in getting color matched for two of the new CdC foundations. She tried the powder foundation on her inner wrist and picked out a color. Didn't offer to try it on me. I wondered if I caught her at a bad time, perhaps right when she was about to go on a much needed bathroom break. I was about to feel the texture of the cream foundation when she told me to get it along with the powder foundation because that's what most people do anyway. By this point, I was quite certain that I wasn't welcome to play with the testers and she was trying to rush me out of her way. Mind you it had only been about 3 mins since I got to the counter. I was no longer in the mood to check out new products. Told the lady I would pick up the powder foundation and the other items on my list. By the time I got to the 3rd item on my list, I could tell the lady was not in the mood to keep bending down to find the items for me. There was plenty of full on eye rolling and she was visibly displeased. After I got to the 5th item on the list, I decided it was time to wrap it up and call it a day. I can always pick up other CdC items online. During the time she was looking for my products, I couldn't help but noticed the guy at the Sisley counter was super friendly and happy to be around his customers. I supposed if I had decided to start my shopping on Sisley my whole shopping experience would have been completely different. When the CdC lady was ringing me up, she seemed to warm up a bit. She offered to look up items that she was out of stock on and ship them to me with shipping waived. I declined as I was trying to leave asap. Turns out she is the business manager (!) of the CdC counter when I saw her business card after I left. This is definitely the worst shopping experience I have had at ANY Nordstrom location. read more

Man, the Arcadia mall is murderous when it comes to parking on a Sunday... it's shocking, even with so many parking spots that it's still sooooo competitive to yank out a parking stall! Anyways, we parked... if this review was about Arcadia's parking it'd be 5 NEGATIVE stars out of 5!!! Haha. So, Nordy's... great service is to be expected and we weren't disappointed. The wife finally decided to take the plunge and get some TOM'S... you know... the hippie-ish canvas shoes!! You buy one and they donate one to the less fortunate. I personally think the TOM'S are beautiful shoes and suit any attire... so kudos to my wife for making an awesome fashion choice! The representative that helped us was awesome. Not only was he NO-PRESSURE on the sales, but apparently also owns 7 pairs of Tom's himself and gave great advice to us. He advised that she get a size smaller because the canvas will stretch over time. HIs personal touch and personalized expertise on the subject matter were exceptional. In the midst of the jungle they call "WOMEN'S SHOE DEPARTMENT", our representative created such a calm aura that the shoe buying experience became oddishly enjoyable. We will return... per my wife's wishes, so that I too can enjoy the comfort of TOM'S... sigh, they're nice and all, and actually have some awesome designs... but c'mon!!! I can't imagine spending that kinda dough on something that'll probably end up in my dog's jaws!!!! read more

After having a long conversation with corporate customer service and the store manager, we decided to return the men's suit and sport coat. I still had my own suit to alter which they graciously offered to reimburse the cost had I decided to go elsewhere. I really do enjoy shopping at Nordstrom so I decided to just get it done in store. Nicholle and Zarik the tailor took care of me and the customer service was fantastic. When I came back two weeks later, it took quite a while to track down my suit. Unfortunately the same sleeve issues happened to my suit but it was a pressing issue which was resolved. My pants had to be taken in at the waist but whoever did altered made a crooked seam so the pants have to be reordered. We'll be back next week as we reordered the men's suit and sport coat based on this visit's awesome customer service. read more

12-15-2010 approx 6pm BLEEP this shoe department, the people who work in it, and the horses they rode in on. My last visit, I bought some shoes. This visit, I returned them, unworn with the receipt. 'Memba how Nordstrom says that returns are no problem? Yeah, this department didn't get the message. With the receipt sitting next to the shoe box, I was repeatedly asked about...wait for it....the receipt. The whole approach was wrong, wrong, wrong. I also went looking for some Hudson/Joe's etc jeans. People! Learn from me - do not bother to shop here. The saleslady was great & knew her jeans but they have NO merchandise, NONE. If only I had followed my own previous review, I repeat: ***Bottom line: it's a store to visit if you need to replace a staple (lipstick, whatever). I love the service in Nordstrom, but they need to figure something out with the Longchamp store, because we loved this one bag but it was a floor item, and since it was a big purchase, we wanted a brand new leather handbag from the box, so we were given two choices, either to buy the handbag as is with the ripped and torn card inside of the bag, or order from the website to ship home a brand new one. We were lied to when we chose to buy from the online shipping to our house. After two weeks of ordering it, we did not receive a tracking number so we went in to ask the sales person, Julian for the tracking number, where he disappeared for 10 minutes to return with a tracking number on his phone. He then said that it would ship from the Costa Mesa Longchamp location. After refreshing the page for a while, the page stated that it was shipped from Baldwin, which is where the Longchamp store that we paid for the bag was. We ordered an online bag to ensure that it was brand new and that was what Julian and all the sales associate at Longchamp in Nordstrom promised us. But when we received the bag, we checked the bag to then see that it was the exact same bag that we tried on in the store. We were lied to and deceived just so someone can make a sale. We were more than happy to buy the floor purse, but it was the fact we were given choices to then be lied to about where the bag came from. Will not be buying from Longchamp in the mall again. Terrible experience. read more

this REVIEW IS SOLELY BASED ON AN EXPERIENCE I HAD W/A PARTICULAR EMPLOYEE FOR the JEWELRY DEPT (1st floor) I ADMIT the day i visited was very busy, and i had a few jewelry items to return that i had Purchased on-line. -I approached the Jewelry counter near cosmetics where this blond bimbo "Suzanne" (50+y/o)was assisting a customer that was trying on some earrings, i waited patiently while listening to this Suzanne woman who was constantly complimenting her about how great it looked on her, and if she got it in gold it would look even better with her hair color and complexion blah blah BLAH!--yes they were both the same if ya know what i mean! Go figure! so i grew impatient cause Suzanne looked over at me and saw me waiting for her, she did not even acknowledge why i was there or cared if i needed any assistance, cause she saw me holding the items with receipt in hand. SO then i said "excuse me, I have a quick return.." THEN without allowing me to finish my sentence, she immediately said rudely " I'm currently with a customer, but I'm sure watches department are able to help you" than she turned her back and began telling the lady how great she looked, it was like a movie. i was stunned! and honestly the lady she was "complimenting" didn't even care about her opinions, she didn't even look at the SA, she was probably annoyed of Suzanne as well, she was probably thinking she got lucky with an what i call "influenced shopper" shoppers who are tricked into buying something they really don't like when they get home. -and WE ALL Know the bitch was trying to get her commission!! its like do you really think sweet talking will make her buy those damn $68.00 earrings?! While I'm waiting at the EVER SO BUSY & HECTIC WATCH COUNTER (The girls are much friendlier there) they were very busy and with only 2 girls working there, literally 20 Min's in, i looked over at that other bIZ and the lady she was trying to influence left without buying anything. I walked back over there pissed and agitated, she finished helping a few females before I approached her again, i handed her my items, she said "hello, how are you"-- she looked at me while I gave her the stare down and didn't say a word, while she was scanning the items, i asked her straight up cause she pissed me the f off! "SO TELL ME IS THERE A REASON WHY YOU BLEW ME OFF WHILE I WAS WAITING THERE?" -"No i was assisting a customer and was busy"--she was very offensive while telling me this -"You get commission right?" -"Yes" -"OKAY THAT'S WHY!, you could have been professional & asked me to stay while you finish up with her, you looked over the watch dept and knew how busy they were yet you still sent me there, i was waiting there for 15 minutes and came here back to you while obviously you had time to assist 2 other females before me, Its cause you knew i had returns!" -No, that's not the reason why, i was helping a client and i did not know they were busy okay, and its not cause of commission" -No you did, its okay you were just working on commission, COMPLETELY understandable Suzanne!" so I MARCHED upstairs and went straight to CS. AND reported her biz a*s!!!! IGNORANT RACIST people LIKE SUZANNE SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO WORK HERE! sorry NORDSTROM, THIS EXPERIENCE CAUSED ME TO ALTER THE WAY I VIEW YOUR LOCATION. read more

I have mixed reviews about this particular Nordstrom's. I think the ladies and men that work at the cosmetics departments are absolutely wonderful as they really try to please the customers. They have great customer service skills when talking to the customers, and I know that as a 22 year old who usually goes to the mall dressed in shorts and a t-shirt, I'm not their particular focused clientele, but every single time I've walked in and needed help, everybody has been super friendly to me and willing to help me. The woman over at Shisedo's, the woman at La Mer, the man at the perfume counter .... super fabulous in helping me while I was simply picking out some Deborah Lippmann nail polishes. BUT, the women up in the customer service department are totally rude and pompous. The moment I walked up there to try to return an item because the lady down at the cosmetics counter did not have enough cash in her register, I could feel this wave of hostility wash over me. They looked over-made with their make-up and fake nails, and the smiles they were giving to their customers looked really snooty and fake. When it was my turn to return it, the woman took one look at me and said "Oh honey, this isn't where you return items. You need to do that downstairs. They'll take care of you." She pushed the item back to me and turned back to her computer ... and pretty much dismissed me. What nerve, right? So I tell her ..."I did, but the lady sent me up here." "Oh no dear, then you would have the paperwork to go along with the item." "Uh, she processed it on the computer and sent me here." She gave a big sigh and said "Okay, who helped you." So annoying, and it took her forever to get my e-mail address down correctly. It's not that difficult! But I got the cash and scooted out of there quickly. Just cause she was older, richer (probably) did not give her any reason for her to treat customers as if she was better than them. The other lady didn't look any better. So for that ... I am torn between 3/4 stars, so I give it a 3.5. read more

For my 50th review.. all I have to say is: shoooooessssss!!!!! I love shoes. No, really, I love shoes... I can tell them, bring me every size 11 black pump (3" heel or higher..) you have in stock and they will bring me every size 11 black pump (3" heel or higher)... I love that. The shoe department is HORRIBLE! I brought my uggs to them to repair because i had a paint stain, and my promise date was 11/27. I didn't get a call Friday, and I didn't get one Saturday. So around 5pm Saturday, i decide to call them because i thought they lost my shoes. I call them and they said they were closed 11/26 and that's when the shoe repairs come in. So I thought it was already bad that they couldn't call to tell me they'd be late and told me they would be done 12/2. I didn't get a call until 12/3. To make matters worse, when i went there 12/5 I had to wait for 30 minutes because they lost my shoes, and the manager had to come out and help search for them. I look at my uggs, and my paint stain is still there. Not only was the stain not removed, my sand colored uggs were now a weird median between sand and chesnut colors. I asked to talk to the manager to get a refund on the cleaning service since they not only didn't clean it, but also ruined them...but he said since i didn't buy my shoes from their store, i couldn't get a new pair. Does it really matter that i didn't buy from them when the repair service was what messed my shoes up? I don't think so. All they offered was a complimentary cleaning service to THE SAME PLACE that ruined my uggs in the first place !!! Of course i said no. Now my favorite shoes are ruined, good job Nordstroms of santa anita. read more

Nordstrom is my favorite department store. There items are pricey but the quality is what you are getting with it. You also get very good service which of course is most important. This past 2 weeks I went back and forth trying to decide on my birthday handbag. Well it was a designer bag, a first for me so I really wanted to make it count. I met Kimmie who was very nice and very kind to take the time to go over all the styles. Now keep in mind service is very important and these sales people also make commission so if you like the service you want to make sure you get the sale to that person that helped u! I ended up buying a clutch which I then went back to return with her for a Balenciaga purse which she helped me set up. Now I had the bag for about a week when I noticed the ring handles where the strap comes onto had some scratches. I was researching how to clean it with metal cleaner or how to fix it bla bla, when my girlfriend suggested calling Nordstrom to see what the could do. Well I called, spoke to another rep who said they could do an exchange if I brought receipt. Now I know when I got the bag they only had one in stock, but they seemed to replenish it so it worked out that I didn't even have to go and wait for shipping. I went by when Kimmie was on duty an hour later, she swapped them out no issues and even helps me leather clean it. Now I was with my god mother who ended up wanting to look at a bag. Well guess who that sale went to? And she also ended up getting a Nordstrom cc. Now, doesn't mean to say you have to purchase something to get service, but if you want to you will feel very well taken care of while getting it done! Thanks Kimmi! Next time I have $$$ to spend on new piece will definitely look for you! read more

Daniel in the shoe department is the best. I called three Nordstrom and everybody was a Negative Nancy when it came to me finding eggs. But when I called Nordstrom's at Santa Anita I spoke to a guy named Daniel. He got me to come in, and find what my sister wanted. He was the only one that was optimistic while at the same time busy and yet treating me like as if I was his only customer. I know I sound cheesy but I don't know the guy at all. But he deserves this post. Because he actually took his job seriously. Because of that, five stars for him in 5 Stars for Nordstrom for hiring him read more

Probably my favorite Nordstrom in SoCal! I always find something in Women's or BP. Service isn't necessarily consistent, but this year while Christmas shopping, the service was superb. The young lady at TOPSHOP was helpful and friendly. Great for accessories and one of a kind pieces. This Nordstrom has all the glam and I love it! read more

Nordstrom Santa Anita - Department Stores Near Me - Arcadia, California

They're just okay. Hell no, I've never actually bought anything for myself, are you kidding me??? Shiiiiiiiit, Anchor Blue is where I kick it at, but anyways. I've purchased perfume for my mom from Nordy's. They carry this stuff called "Hana Amori", or "Ana Amorie", who fucking knows. Shit's expensive too, it's like $70 a bottle. Hell, my mom said I should have given her the cash instead. In retrospect, I should have. Oh, and the cool thing, don't know if they still do or not. They, at one time, sold the KISS fragrances--each member had their own scent. Damn, I love how Gene Simmons's business mind works! No, I never did get to buy them, I wouldn't have used them anyway, they would have been used for "collection purposes". They were just too expensive. I'll just stick to the KISS Kondoms. read more

If I was made of money I'd definitely shop here more often! Last time I came here to buy my boyfriend some Sperry's and the sales associate was very polite and not too pushy even though I look like a little asian teenager that's just browsing. It took me a couple of visits to finally decide on buying it but the same guy helped me both times. Not only that but he gave me a gift receipt and I didn't even have to ask which was lovely. :) Also, it was very clean and easy to find what I needed, and if I couldn't find it, there was someone there would could help me. Two Thumbs up from me for sure! read more

Went in to buy a Christmas present recently for a family member in the men's department and the sales associate asked me if it was for "when the family member was travelling back East." Excuse me, but just because I'm not white doesn't mean my family hasn't been here for generations. Very rude of him to assume that. Also, another sales associate checking me out was openly complaining about a ribbon problem with her station to her co-workers. I really don't need to hear that. read more

Danielle at the Georgio Armani counter is fantastic! She did my makeup perfectly and was so professional! This was my first time getting makeup done and she was really sweet; I would go to her again in a heartbeat. I give her 7 out of 5 stars. Thanks again, Danielle. read more

I love Nordstroms! They have the best policy towards customers hands down. I bought a pair of shoes for my girl at $79.99 which is quite expensive for a 2 year old. I bought it for the next season because it was on sale so it sat in the closet for close to 10 months. She wore it for about a week. It really did not fit her right as one of her foot is slightly pigeon toed. She ended up with blisters. I called nordstroms and they said to come back..They took it back without any questions and we exchanged it for another pair-cheaper and a refund in a gift card. My husband also came here and bought two pairs of sandals. One of them they did not have in his size so the sales clerk ordered it and shipped it DHL for free---we got it in 3 days! Love the service here! read more

Anyone who knows me knows that I'm an avid Nordstrom shopper. I especially go for certain goods like handbags, shoes and accessories. This review is particularly for the upcoming Nordstrom Anniversary Sale beginning July 17 - August 2, 2009. I've already pre-selected my items even before the pre-sale for Nordstrom Visa/Rewards Members. Unfortunately not all items were on display when I was there, but it's ok because I'll be able to peruse through again when I pick up my pre-selected items before the July 17th Anniversary Sale. I think I've spent well over $2K but I'm getting a % back in the form of Nordy Notes! Remember Mervyns' *open open open* tv commercials? For those who aren't Nordstrom cardholders, ENJOY the early morning wait for the 7:00 a.m. kick-off on the July 17th opening day! It's gonna be INSANE!!! read more

Love the service here because of Vanessa at the Fresh cosmetics counter. She introduce me to fresh and I do love some of the products. I have being at this store before and I have not like the customer service. She is excellent and I recommend you looking for her if you need skin care products. read more
