Our bartender apologized for not letting us know it was a salad so he ordered us the "crispy doughnuts" on the house! OMG, served w ricotta dip-well let's just say we will order them EVERY visit from now on! My wife and I then split the crispy pork ribs. They were amazing and melted in our mouths. It was Thursday, so 1/2 price bottle of wines. We're wine drinkers but I decided to let our bartender choose a bottle on his recommendation! He nailed it. Perfect bottle choice for what we ate. As full as we were, I talked my wife into dessert. We split the dark chocolate pear. Wow. So unique as well. They were fried like pancakes, not deep fried like the Hanukkah treats. Still, they were served with both sour cream and apple sauce, so that savory-salty-sweet profile was reached. Our little kid had a hotdog and fries. He's such a picky eater, I was thrilled that this time he found something other than chicken fingers and fries. Our growing boy is now eating man- size meals. Tonight he had a cheeseburger and fries. That burger was at least a half an inch thick. I had a souvlaki wrap. I really enjoyed it. It was way too much to eat so I brought half of it home.
