I realized this last trip to Uncle Joe's that we usually only come for lunch and we have to change that. This place is always pretty busy, but we were seated pretty quickly. I got the super ham and cheese wrap and felt it could have used a little more ham. It's also worth noting this does not come with home fries. My mother got the biscuit special and it was so much food! Our coffees were kept full our whole meal and they even have the French vanilla creamer, which is always a bonus! It can be a little loud from the room being full, but overall it's a great choice for breakfast! read more

I was surprised at the size of the large parking lot until I went into the diner: It's *huge*! Booths for two, for four, for six people or more, plus tables. I arrived at 10:30 on Monday, and the place was packed. I was seated quickly and my drink order taken. The waitress told me all meals were available at all times; I wasn't restricted to breakfast at 10:30! My BLT arrived with amazing speed: The waitress explained the bacon was already ready for the breakfast orders. It was so good! Extra mayo, just as I had requested. Another touch I liked: My fries earned me a bottle of malt vinegar. Yes, chef! I wouldn't have known to ask for it if it hadn't arrived without my asking. We needed a find a diner after our 5:30 pm ice skating lesson, so off to Uncle Joe's Diner we went. They seemed a little understaffed, as our waitress was really hustling to get everything done. She did a really great job, but she was huffing and puffing a little bit. Our food was excellent. One of us had the papa Mike's burger and fries. It came with an over easy egg on top. Our little kid had a hotdog and fries. He's such a picky eater, I was thrilled that this time he found something other than chicken fingers and fries. Our growing boy is now eating man- size meals. Tonight he had a cheeseburger and fries. That burger was at least a half an inch thick. I had a souvlaki wrap. I really enjoyed it. It was way too much to eat so I brought half of it home. I always like my experience at uncle Joe, and I encourage others to give them a try as well read more

I had a craving for a burger today so quick last minute decision I turned into Uncle Joe's diner on southwestern. Burger was big, juicy and cooked just right. Topped with Chris lettuce fresh tomato,nice slice of onion and pickle chips. The fries that came with it are cooked in soy oil, not greasy at all great flavor. I figured it was time to update my review since my first time coming here since I've been back (at least) 14 times since according to my check ins Uncle Joe's has become a staple for us because it's 3 minutes from our house and always delivers a consistently delicious meal and excellent service. We do have one server that's our absolute favorite, a gentleman that works on weekend nights and always delivers a fantastic experience. He never fails to make us smile and really is the best waiter around (I swear I'm going to get his name next time we have him!). Their weekly specials are always delicious and I've never had a bad meal here. It can definitely get busy here during brunch time on the weekends, but otherwise we've never had an issue getting a seat right away. read more

Fast, friendly service in an old school diner setting, we loved it! There were 4 items that I had a hard time choosing between on the specials menu. I opted for the most healthy of them, which wasn't all that healthy, but it's all about balance. The item I ordered was chicken Florentine breakfast pastry ($16) and my friend got a roast beef club with fresh cut fries ($14). Mine was very good. Flavorful with a nice puff pastry. I would have preferred it had more chicken and less of the Gouda sauce... I had to scrape some off to the side to make it enjoyable. However, my friend said it would have been the perfect amount for her. My friend enjoyed her club sandwich, but thought it had too much lettuce... She's not much of a vegetable person. There wasn't any room left after our meal (and we had leftovers), so dessert was out of the question, though it all looked delicious! We would definitely visit Uncle Joe's Diner again. read more

This is one of our favorite Sunday Breakfast place. Ambiance: Joe's is classic diner, with windows all around the dining areas. There's the classic bar and stools, benches, table and chairs. Food: There is a wide selection of foods to eat for breakfast, lunch.and dinner. They also have pickup and delivery, although I have never used them. It has all the basics which are good to very good. They also have specials, which I always took a look at if not a second. Service: unless it's really crowded with a line of people waiting, the service is quick, food comes quickly and hot. Drinks like coffee tea and soda are refreshed quickly. We never feel rushed as if they needed the table. read more

Very close to home, been here lots of times. The kids would come specifically for the Oreo milkshake. The service is always good, the place is bright and tidy. I recommend coming in for breakfast or lunch. There's plenty of parking, booths, and patio seating. I do find that the prices are on the high-side for diner food, but the portions are pretty generous. read more

I tried the Ruben and it was very very good and my fiancé got the chicken fingers which were also quite good hah. We had to try the carrot cake and it too was very yummy! I haven't been here in probably 20 years but recently some out of town guests wanted to grab some lunch. It's your standard diner with indoor and some covered outdoor seats. It's cute and and homey inside with a dessert carousel, outdoor flags which are for sale and placemats covered in local business advertisements. I ordered the wings but was told they were out. Completely understandable but it would be nice to know that before I sat down to and picked my order. I then set my sights on the grilled cheese with sweet potato fries because they did stock GF bread. Usually when you order a grilled cheese at a restaurant it's delicious and better than what you would make at home, probably all the extra butter on the griddle. Sadly, this was not that. The gluten free bread had a weird texture. It's disappointing because GF products have come a long way and nowadays you usually can't even tell the difference. The bread wasn't that crispy and the cheese was melted but could have been left on the griddle longer. It was more like something you could find on a buffet or a school cafeteria. The good news is that the fries were delicious, crispy and hot. This was just ok. I won't be rushing back anytime soon. read more

We had a good breakfast at Uncle Joe's but it was a bit expensive for breakfast food that is typically $2 or more cheaper at other diners. I fact, we paid about the same for two fish fry dinners plus two beers at Sneakers this past Friday. That said, our food was good and the service was quick and attentive. It's clean and nicely decorated with a 50's diner theme. Typically at most diners, home fries are included with an omelet. Not at Uncle Joe's. There's an upcharge for home fries. Even the toast seemed to be kind of small. My bacon and cheese omelet, however was a good size, but I thought that the bacon was a bit chewy for my taste. Others might find it perfect. My wife's waffle was good. The only reason I am not giving 4 stars is because I believe it to be overpriced for breakfast, even accounting recent inflation. read more

This place is always been close to my home but I haven't been a long time so with it being a nice day outside thought I come over and try this place out. The decor and ambience is on point with the 50s retro diner theme walls are painted in fluorescent greens, pinks yellows and many more colors to fit that scene. You had to wait to be seated. Someone came to the door right away sat mean and nice booth along side the window in about a minute later, the waitress came by as friendly as possible. I ordered the western omelette with a side of home fries, thin mint pie, and hot chocolate, all were absolutely delicious cooked properly well seasoned, and the portions were a lot to die for. There were a lot of families seated, which gave this place a good ambience prices are reasonable, and the staff is super friendly. They also have lunch and dinner options as well and breakfast served all day. The perfect place to stop at when you're on a road trip or need a quick bite to eat early in the morning. We went inside to dine. Sat in a cozy booth. Waitress was friendly and gave us time to read over the 6 page menu, lots of choices. We order the steak and eggs with home fries and sourdough toast. The eggs were done correctly and the steak was delicious and tender. I got the turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy and cranberries. The food was great and service made it better. Stopped here for dinner on a Friday evening, we did not have any reservation. We were greeted promptly and seated after they checked that a booth was available as we requested. The hostess was friendly and attentive. Our waitress, Jessica took our drink order promptly and returned with our beverages and to take our dinner order. The wine was reasonably priced, my ice water was refilled several times without asking. The staff was working hard the entire time we were there. My wife ordered a fish fry with a double macaroni salad. The batter was delicate and crunchy. I ordered a meatloaf dinner with a cup of Buffalo chicken wing soup. The Scarlet Vetter says....the hubby and I stopped at this cute establishment yesterday for a late lunch. We were greeted promptly and asked whether we wanted a table or a booth. We selected a booth and were brought to a nice brightly lit table on the sunny side of the restaurant. There is an internal inset square in the restaurant which is more dimly lit and looked to be a little bit on the quiet side for those patrons that might prefer that atmosphere. Our drink order was taken on the spot and we were presented with menus. My husband ordered a Diet Coke and I ordered an unsweetened iced tea. The menu selections were quite expansive. My husband selected a Souvlaki wrap and Fries and I ordered a broccoli and cheese omelette. We both ordered side salads as well. The side salads were reasonably portioned and the lettuce was crisp and the vegetables plentiful. I suppose I should have asked, but the salad came with croutons and I'm not a big fan of croutons. My omelette came and was stuffed full of tender broccoli and yummy melted cheese and was absolutely wonderful. The menu advertised that their omelettes are made with 4 eggs and really the omelet was quite large. The omelette only came with toast and you have to order Hash Browns on the side as an extra dish if you want them. 5 pieces of toast came with the omelette as opposed to 4 which was nice. My husband's souvlaki wrap looked fresh and delicious and he said that it was quite tasty. I am not generally price sensitive when it comes to food, but a sign of the tiimes these days in 2023 as to how prices have increased, was the bill. I don't think this was a particularly extensive lunch, but with the food and tax the bill came to over $46. By the time we left the tip, the entire bill was about $54. Pre-covid, if we had been presented with a bill of that size for a simple lunch I think we would have had a coronary. Now, unfortunately, it is just de rigueur. I have added the bill to my pictures for reference. In all, however, this is a very nice-, clean, and cheery place with happy servers, to stop for a bite to eat. read more

I really enjoyed my breakfast that I had there on Monday morning. My father and I both ordered Breakfast wraps (his a Western, mine Sausage and Mushroom) a side of home fries and 2 coffees. The wraps were made with a cheddar jalapeño tortilla and were huge, the home fries were crisp and well seasoned, and the coffee was hot and fresh. The decor of this diner is cute as well with outdoor flags all over the place and comfy booths. The service was spot on without being overbearing, and the prices, while not as cheap as some diners, were fair for the portions. I will be back to try their lunch menu! read more

You can always count on Joe's. Isn't that one of the most important things we're all looking for when dining out. We've been here many times. This is about the most consistent breakfast & lunch place for us. Nothing fancy, nice big menu of everyday favorites. The service is reliable always between good and very good, it's never been bad. And frankly that's saying something in today's world and it's restaurant reality's. There's so much poor or no service consistency anymore. The same for the food. The portions are still generous with the quality of dishes enjoyable. And while all prices have soared they've been able to keep a price point that doesn't make you cringe. Road trip through upstate NY, found REAL food at Uncle Joe's Diner! Pot roast dinner was delicious, tender and flavorful with perfect new potatoes and deliciously sweet carrots. Hubby had roasted turkey platter with stuffing and mashed potatoes, and it was also excellent. Generous portions--ate half for lunch and took the rest with us to heat up for dinner (though it was hard to not gobble it all up at once!). And...the carrot cake was soooo goood! Service was friendly and fast, but without making us feel rushed. We would definitely go back here to try more of the other things on the extensive menu. I stumbled upon this place looking for somewhere to sit down and eat breakfast (there were not a lot of options around here) and I'm glad we found it. It was very busy but I knew that was a sign of good food! We were seated right away and the waitress came right over for our order. The food also came out very quickly so they have a good process getting people in and out. I went with the special that was an eggs Benedict and sausage gravy and biscuit combo ( biscuit with sausage and poached eggs on top then covered in gravy) I asked for the gravy as well as hollandaise on the side because I enjoy the hollandaise on my Benny's and it was not a problem! The biscuits were very good and the sausage was ok but tasted like any other place. I was too excited for the combo that I must've stopped reading at the part where hash browns came with it and was a little bummed that it wasn't home fries but the hashbrowns were very flavorful.
