Cute location. I had a very dry chicken sandwich, but perhaps the breakfast choices are better here.

We always pass this diner on five and I've always wanted to try it so one day I was off had nothing…read moreto do so I decided to take a drive down there and boy. I was so glad I did. There is ample parking. The space is very welcoming, and as soon as you walk in, you are greeted with the most gorgeous display of desserts you'll ever seen in your life. No wonder this place was nominated for best dessert menu for the best of 716 they serve breakfast until two as well as lunch and dinner. We stopped by for dinner and they have a wide variety of American food. All is homemade and they have a wide array of Smashburger's homestyle favorites, including Mall high turkey dinner meatloaf dinner, spaghetti, and meatballs, and a wide Veray of salads and soups to choose from I went ahead with the mile high turkey dinner and my husband had the mile high meatloaf. They were so delicious. We could not stop eating them and they were too good to share. Then there was no way we couldn't close out this amazing meal Without trying one of the amazing desserts so we decided to split a chocolate peanut butter cream pie, and we are so glad we did. It reminded us of when we were little frequently visiting diners. Plus the ambience is very calm, warm welcoming and it's like you're stepping right into modern diner meets grandma's kitchen the perfect place to call your second home. We will definitely be visiting this place more often that soon enough we'll become regulars.

No, just no. On a very rainy evening, we tried to get a meal at this place. It was packed, we…read morethought the food would be great. Nope. If possible, the service was even worse. Apparently we upset the waitress by not having everyone at the table when she came by. our friend had run to the restroom while we waited for service. we assumed the waitress was slammed because it was crowded and our friend gave us their order in case she came by while they were gone. She refused to take our order until. the person returned even though we told her we could order. She was clearly irritated and told us we would, "just have to wait" Ok, we waited, our friend returned she walked by multiple times spoke loudly to a table behind us about how busy she was and appreciated that they were all ready and at the table. The customers were clearly familiar to her as they responded by loudly commenting on how rude it was ... this continued with other tables to the degree that she went to the counter acros form our table and simply stared directly at me shaking her head and commenting to other customers about "rude people" When she finally came to take our order (about 20 minutes into our wait) she repeatedly made surprisingly snarky remarks. Actually ti felt like a weird SNL skit. I keep thinking someone was going to jump out and tell us we were bing "Punked". Nope. Then we got the food. It was just bad, tasteless, overcooked, just not good. There were some cooked carrots shaped into small balls on the plate. I didn't eat them. She actually stated to me, "you didn't eat your carrots!!" It was seriously bizarre. I see large crowds there. Maybe it's because of their baked goods. we didn't stay to try dessert.

I stopped in for Sunday brunch recently. Finally. I've been wanting to visit this resto for a while…read morenow. The dining rooms were wonderful, and service was excellent, but the meal itself was a letdown. I had the eggs Benedict. The hollandaise was thin, nearly non-existent. The eggs were watery, the Canadian bacon was sliced so thin that was nearly non-existent as well. The muffin was thick and doughy, slightly undercooked. The crispy fried potatoes were not crispy. I was very underwhelmed by the dish, however, the espresso martini I had with it was excellent. The meal almost didn't matter, though, (except that I was hungry) because everything else was delightful.

Ever since Bent's Opera House opened, I've been curious and wanted a reason to try Harvest for…read moredinner. The opportunity finally presented itself and, overall, it was a really nice experience! Three of us had made reservations for 6pm on a Thursday and when we arrived, there were zero issues. Parking for Harvest is primarily street parking but there are smaller parking lots nearby. The interior comes across fancy, modern, with nice views of Main St. and as you walk in to the dining room, the open-kitchen to our left and a warmly lit, nicely stocked bar to our right. We were seated at a table towards the middle of the dining room. At 6pm, most tables were empty but when we were leaving there were a good amount of people at both the bar and seated in the dining room, so it seems like people tend to come for a later meal. Our waitress came over and poured us waters and provided drink and food menus. This was a first for me - the menus lit up! Our waitress though was incredibly courteous and personable, she did a fantastic job checking on us. To kick the evening off, I ordered their Honey Hibiscus cocktail, which is mezcal, Grand Marnier, hibiscus, ginger, honey, cinnamon, lime, and fee foam. This was a nicely balanced cocktail with a more floral, fruity flavor. With the open kitchen concept, it was neat to see the chef and cooks working on our meals as we relaxed, talked, and munched on some warmed focaccia-like bread with a freshly made balsamic, olive oil, herb dip. The bread was so soft with the perfect amount of chew on the crust/exterior, and served warm. For dinner, I ordered Pappardelle Mornay and added (perfectly grilled) chicken breast for a few more dollars, which is simply pappardelle pasta in a creamy cheese mornay. Our waitress crushed some black pepper atop my dish before I started in. This was excellent - The pasta itself tasted so fresh, the cheese mornay was indeed very creamy, and the grilled chicken breast was cooked, seasoned, cut, and portioned perfectly. I am really glad I added the chicken breast to this dish as I'm not sure the pasta itself would've filled me up. I'd definitely order this again! To wrap up our meal, since it was Thursday, there's a "1/2 off Nightcaps" special, so each of us enjoyed a cold foam espresso martini afterward, which is coffee-infused vodka, Nue vodka, FAIR Café liqueur, dark crème de cacao, Steamworks espresso, chocolate bitters, vanilla syrup, and topped with an infused cold foam, which we went with the Frangelico Hazelnut cold foam, and a few espresso beans. This was ridiculously rich and delish! Harvest is an intimate, elevated dining experience, designed to have you stay a while, relax, and enjoy a more personal meal. All of us really enjoyed our evening here and have nothing but high praise for the staff and quality food. This isn't a fast, casual, cheap sit-down meal, but it's an experience worth the higher price. I look forward to coming back!
