The service was absolutely terrible, they don't know what table orders what. The server is not consistent and doesn't care about their patrons. Haven't filled our drinks while we are out sitting in the heat. The food was absolutely nothing special for a special. They didn't even give me the full order but if the food is this bad I don't want it anyways. They are not the friendly type at all. Incredible breakfast place with fantastic coffee, great prices and solid food. I came here on a weekday morning and tried the steak & eggs. The waitress was sweet and incredibly accommodating, asking everyone if they wanted separate checks right off the bat. Coffee kept flowing and she adjusted our table when we had a larger party come through than originally anticipated. It was all easy and flexible. Food-wise, I got the steak and eggs. I'm always a little weary of steak and eggs for under $10, but this was LEGIT. It seemed like it was a great cut of strip steak and it was cooked perfectly to order...thick enough to make it a nice medium rare. I was impressed! The home fries were crispy and the delicious toast came pre-buttered. My only complaint was the steak had 0 seasoning, but easily fixed with the salt and pepper offered at the table. Took an hour and a half to only get part of my food. Not to mention it was incorrect. Ordered the "loaded" hasbrowns which were barely cooked... didn't have the onions or jalapeños that were supposed to be on them and the cheese slices were just thrown on not even melted. When I asked for my toast I was missing for my over easy eggs.. the waitress then went and look a few more orders and cashed people out instead of going back to the kitchen to grab a few slices of toast. Terrific spot, delicious food and super service! We stopped for a quick meal before heading onto the Thruway & so glad we did. Reuben was great , just the right amount of fillings and grilled to perfection. Philly cheese steak was excellent, fries on the side were abundant. my family and i went to this diner during our mini roadtrip, our service was mediocre, and the food was very questionable. we would ask for adjustments like light mayo and would get a regular amount, or well hash browns and they were barely cooked. very disappointing and wouldn't come back. read more

Amazing little cafe! Tucked in a little side road of Dunkirk it's so cute and homey. The little accents of decor make it really feel cohesive. Our waitress was awesome. Got us coffee refills whenever we looked low and got our food out in a timely manner. The food was so good for the price! Big servings for little cost. We like to support local restaurants so found this on Yelp and decided to check it out. Came here on a Saturday morning for breakfast and you seat yourself. Place is small and tables were clean but carpet could have used a good vacuuming. Prices are good. I ordered the spinach and feta omelette but didn't see or taste feta. They put a slice of provolone cheese on top as a choice of cheese for the omelette topping. The diced potatoes were flavorful. My food came out Luke warm and the server heated it up for me quickly. Jenna's restaurant is bomb. It's always had really good stuff to eat there. Breakfast is decent but the lunch choices were always elite. One of my favorite things to eat there is the regular or bbq chicken wrap with onions and no tomato. Also her unique house bleu cheese which is a sweeter version of the regular stuff is so addicting if you like sweet condiments. Her hash browns are always great too. The main downside here were two of the waitresses who worked there for a very long time...They were often crabby or just so rude. Mostly everyone else was friendly. But these two especially one in particular had an attitude like I did something to her. Not the case! Other than that I highly recommend this restaurant. Good food, solid pricing, portions are good and usually good service with friendly, familiar faces. Was always a go to when I lived in Dunkirk, NY. Would have rated the restaurant 4.5/5 if it were possible. read more

Staff was friendly...service was good , restrooms clean and the price was right. My husband had a breakfast platter with a hamburger patty for his meat. The burger was a little overcooked, but still tasty. I had a beef on Wick with crinkle cut fries and a side of some of the best beef gravy we've had! Very generous portions! Would definitely have been 5 stars, except for the overcooked burger and the French Fries weren't very hot. They probably would have corrected those issues, if we had let them know. We didn't branch out on our second trip to Jenna's. D ordered Corn beef hash omelet with pepper jack, hash browns, and biscuit. I ordered the Everything with spinach (instead of ham) with cheddar, home fries, and Texas toast. Since we always split, I enjoyed mine and gave him the rest. Boo! Everything is so much better. The hubby agreed. Oh well! The omelet meals are big, so we probably could have shared one meal. Server was great and love that it's a local hotspot. Wonderful breakfast after a night of drinking and camping at nearby Lake Erie State Park. The place was packed which tells you something. The service was great and food came out fast. The biscuits and gravy are a must! My burrito was also good: sausage, eggs, peppers. And super crispy hash browns on the side. Breakfast for 2 was only about $20. read more

Has an "at home" atmosphere with small little decor that make the place fun. The waiting staff is nice and welcoming to the customer. Menu shows good selection of breakfast/lunch options. For my meal I ordered the "favorite" sausage gravy & biscuts. I understand why it's a favorite! The gravy sauce was nice and thick to compliment the light and fluffy biscuts.
