Me and my wife ordered a #1 and #9 with medium coffee. The cashier put it in as a separate order so we paid for two separate coffees ($2.25 x 2) and a separate #1 at $3.79 #1 and #9 $4.59. We thought we were ording the meal with the sandwich, hasbrown and coffee for $6.69 and $7.59. When we came back to get our hash browns they said they are trained to not assume that anyone ordering with the numbers means the meal. We would have to pay an additional $1.29 for each hash brown. No manager was available and no offer to accept responsibility for the mixup. It seems that Horton's has discovered a way to use people's politeness to make them more money. read more

The hockey stick as a door handle was the highlight of the trip. They were quite proud to note that they have no maple glazed or even maple anything in this formerly Canadian hockey player-name doughnut shop. They also do not have a visible menu. They have a menu that dances across huge displays. you are welcome to use your own device to bring up a menu. or perhaps to capture what they have for sale and peruse it at your leisure. Bathroom did not have a way to dry your hands. Folk were apologetic in a Canadian way for US MBA behavior. Doughnut we settled on was ok. Like the Swiss flag, the hockey stick was a big plus. Visited this location while sightseeing up the coast along Route 5 from Barcelona to Dunkirk. After visiting 6-7 different Tim Hortons across PA and NY, these standalone locations are the best. A much larger menu, full seating area, and drive through which the smaller restaurants and locations inside gas stations often lack. There was hardly anyone around inside when we went in the early afternoon on Wednesday, but cars were continually using the pickup window. Service was quick and the inside was fairly clean. read more

Worst service ever. Multiple people working and they just stare at you standing at the counter waiting to order. Don't expect a hello or smile on their face either. I ordered a bagel and asked that they put the cream cheese on both sides of the bagel(sometimes places will only put it on 1 side, squish it together and expect it to spread itself). The girl who took my order told the girl making it and when I got the bagel there was actually no cream cheese on the bagel at all! They did not tell me this in advance and expected me to know they put a container of cream cheese at the bottom of the bag, apparently to do it myself. When I went back to ask about it not having cream cheese she told me she put it in the bag because she didn't know how I wanted it. I would think it's pretty clear when you say put the cream cheese on both sides of the bagel, but apparently not. She also walked away and didn't not offer a refund or to remake it the correct way. Do not expect to have a good experience here. read more

This is a very nice restaurants. It is clean and located near the lake. It is walking distance to the Dunkirk pier.

I believe both this place and the one on Rt 60 are owned by the same folks. However, the drive-through here is ultimately the worst of any drive-through anywhere. These folks just cannot seem to get an order correct to save their life! The saving grace here is the ice cream - OMG - the ice cream and milkshakes are amazing! Service is extremely slow - staff are very unprofessional - Place is clean with clean restrooms too! Plenty of parking here - which might say something. The workers were too busy talking to each other to take care of the machines that were beeping for more than 10 minutes. Both the loud shouting at one another and the continuous machine noises were very annoying. This is not the first time this has happened. And talking to the owner, Dave, does no good. read more

A decent stop for a quick breakfast. Service was fast and friendly and the coffee is really good. The breakfast sandwiches leave a bit to be desired because ingredients are pre-made, for example the frozen hockey puck eggs. The combo Horton's/Coldstone stores remind me of the Dunkin'/Baskin's stores. Dunkin' has much better donuts but Coldstone definitely is the winner in the ice cream department. Dunkin' and Horton's coffee and breakfast sandwiches are tied. Overall, I prefer Dunkin' to Horton's but I would return to Horton's if Dunkin' was not available. read more

Disappointing!! Part of my Coldstone Creamery experience is watching the ice cream maker mush my ice cream, combine the ingredients, and make my creation. The girl behind the counter decided the ice cream was too hard, coated her spoons in hot water, pushed down twice & placed my ice cream in the cup. She left at least a teaspoon of nuts on the counter & my chunks were all in the middle. Either get someone else to create my Coffee Lover's Only or don't give up if your JOB is too hard!! read more
