Cute ice cream place! It seems the community is a bit divided on the place since it seems ownership has changed(?), but experience was quite nice! The workers were kind and efficient. Tasty ice cream (it appears they serve Perry's Ice Cream, but I'm not very familiar with it). I got the Stovepipe sundae which was vanilla ice cream with chocolate fudge and raspberry sauce and was quite delicious. Worth stopping by for an inexpensive, sweet treat. read more

This is by far my most favorite ice cream shop. They're always very busy and it's for all the best reasons: food quality is amazing, portion sizes are ideal, service is very quick, and staff is very friendly and welcoming! There's a very large variety of menu choices! I recommend this location to anyone. I promise you, it'll be worth it read more

Not sure what happened to this place, but after 25 years of coming here it seems like profit is more important than quality. This was by far the best ice cream joint on earth, and now has turn into garbage and that's being to nice. Very disappointing, I wouldn't come here if it was free! Bring back the friendly staff, and the amazing ice cream! I do not recommend! Don't walk away run away! read more

This is the Best Ice cream on the planet. The service is fast considering how long the line can get and the workers are very nice!

This was our first time at this ice cream place and we were pleasantly surprised by so many choices and great quality ice cream. Will definitely return. read more

Can I move into their dumpster? Lmfao. There isn't a bad thing on the menu! Every Sundae is amazing, staff is beyond friendly, portions are big, and the prices are super reasonable. Worth the drive. I messed around and got addicted. :p read more

Stopped here to overindulge in what may be the largest ice cream concoctions for a not so large price. This little stand has A LOT of options that would fit the ice cream needs of anyone. The 6 of us each ordered something different and no matter what I looked at, it all looked amazing. I personally ordered something called banana berry blast and it was a beautiful mix of vanilla custard, strawberry sauce and bananas topped with whip cream and a cherry. My daughter ordered something that had blue raspberry slushee stuffed with vanilla custard and topped with NERDS. She was delighted with her choice. I can't even remember what else was ordered because the choices seemed endless. I am soooo glad that I do not live close because the endless ice cream options would result in a much larger waistline! read more

This family-owned walk-up ice cream stand is legendary for its creative sundaes and very reasonable prices. Cash only! "Form two lines" - but take time to consider the multitude of color images of their sundae creations displayed in the windows. Soft serve custard, hard scoop varieties, with vegan, no-sugar and non-dairy choices available, as well as creative Kiddie sundaes - and Pup Cups for canine friends. Sizes from 1 ounce Taste, to generous Small, through Bucket size. They'll combine any crumble, crunch, or topping you desire. Try their hot peanut butter sauce, a crowd pleaser. read more

Love their peanut butter sundae...what a delicious treat. Staff is so warm and friendly

Very good!!! Large variety of options. Very inexpensive and large portions. If you love ice cream this is a must!!

Best place for ice cream in 20 miles. Great prices, fun specialty sundaes. New flavors every week.

Must try if you're in the area. They've got menus posted all over their windows with various creations that cool you down on a hot day. Stay in line--well worth the stop not only during the day but at night too! read more

Had my first Ice Cream Cone of the year with Mr. Wonderful (my grandson) a vanilla twist and it was everything it always is - super fantastic - best place in the area for ice cream! There was only one person doing the scoopin today so things were a bit slow, but as always the taste and price both fit nicely! PLEASE NOTE - they do NOT accept credit cards - most likely no checks - so bring some cash! The only reasons this is not a 5 star for me is because it doesn't take credit and there are always lines! Of course the lines tell you it's the spot. read more

Best ice cream place around!! Lots of different creative sundaes! It the summer time, you need to be prepared to wait in line! There will be at least 20 other people in line before you. They have every ice cream thing you could thing of. I always order a baby vanilla soft serve in a cup with toasted coconut dip! Not a lot of places have toasted coconut dip, but Frostry Treat does!!! The people who work there have been there forever and I believe they own the store. They are very nice and the prices are pretty reasonable for what you get. If you are in the area and you are looking for ice cream, do not pass this place by! It is always really fun for the kids to look at all the pictures of the different creative sundaes and choose one. There is a bench or two and some picnic tables, but this is not really a place for sitting and eating ice cream. We always just head right back to our car and sit there. read more

It was very good honestly but they only open up one window first service so the lines get really long and you got a wait like 30 minutes especially with Covid read more

This has been a staple in our area forever. Ice cream is good and it won't break the bank even with a specialty item. We can here and line was long however they moved through it fairly quickly. My daughter a ive cream, I believe it was called fish bowl. It had a blue syrup on it, and I ordered the Cookie Monster. This came with a huge cookie on it. I actually saved some of the cookie for there following day! It's worth the stop if you're out that way! read more

Best ice cream there is staff is excellent! People come from all over just to get ice cream from frosty treat.

Frosty Treat is the best ice cream stand for a reason! They have an amazing selection of sundaes, and they're very accommodating with requests. My personal favorite is the Banana Bucket but I get chocolate soft serve instead of vanilla. Each week they have a new soft serve to try and they create a delicious sundae with it! Don't expect it to break the bank either. Frosty Treat is extremely affordable! Just a heads up...they only accept cash. Stop at the ATM first because this place is worth it!! read more

Novelty ice cream and great range of flavors! Try the monkey up the tree! All speciality dishes have decorations to complete the fun ! Lines get long. Even my adult children when coming back to area head to this establishment . read more

By far the BEST PLACE AROUND! GREAT PRICES! COURTEOUS, HELPFUL, HARD WORKING STAFF! ICE CREAM TO DIE FOR! Even the sugar free, fat free yogurt is amazing. Sometimes the lines are long, but you don't see anyone complaing! They have contest and drawings! Everyone I know can't resist stopping when they go by. No bells and whistles........just good ice cream! And I'm serious about the prices.........fantastic! We take the 18 mile trip all the time to go there. And there is one in my town about 3/4 of a mile from me. read more

They have great ppl working there and I could probably have their food for breakfast lunch and dinner :D

Went here for the 1st time recently while I was on vacation in WNY & loved it. Lines are long, move steadily (not fast, not slow) & the place is a bit pricey BUT you get a HUGE sundae for the money! The Golf -themed sundae was recommended to me, however, I went for the banana split & was quite pleased! Almost didn't finish it! read more

My family and I visit this place regularly. They have quite a few options for gourmet -style sundaes but we usually go for the classic comes. I love them the best because we have 2 little ones and they offer a 'taste' cone for only $.75. We can a walk away satisfied for under $5! read more

Ya this place rocked. They have a weekly flavor and a ton of sundae options. It is soft serve so if you like hard this isn't your place. Friendly locals running it it seems. It is a small little joint but you'll find it really great. read more

My wife gives directions using ice cream shops as landmarks so you can see she knows her ice cream. This is her (and my) place for the best!

The best sundaes anywhere! There are so many wonderful choices. My favorite is the Flamingo. It is fireball ice cream with hot fudge on top. The grandkids have a hard time deciding, but that's part of the summer fun. read more

Tasty ice cream at decent prices served in over the top portions. Even a medium is HUGE! The workers are super friendly and work quickly.

Great ice cream. Decent prices. Best cookies around. Sooooo many options to choose from.

This is probably my favorite place I have ever gotten ice cream before . They have so many different speciality sundaes and everyone I have tried has been fantastic . The prices are also super cheap and the people who run it are probably the nicest people I have ever met , they seem genuinely happy to be serving me ice cream and you can tell that they appreciate your business . The only complaint I have and it's hardly a complaint is that the lines are always so long but that's only because the ice cream is that good and the extra few minute wait helps me decide what to get . I am sad that I only discovered this gem last summer because now that I have had the best other ice cream just isn't as good . read more

The best place for a shake or cone. Super clean, super friendly, great prices. We make it a point to stop if we're in Irving, or visiting Evangola State Park. read more

Love love love this place. I married into Buffalo and one of the best benefits is the food. Frosty Treat is a hidden little gem down in Silver Creek that you should try. It has a real old-style ice cream parlor feel with only window service and a few benches to sit on out front. There are picnic tables and a large grassy area out back to sit and for the kids to run around. Coming from California, the prices here are cheap and the ice cream is first rate. You can get all the standards - cones, cups, sundaes, milkshakes, flurries, and so on, but the real treat are all the custom sundaes. There are dozens of specialty sundaes like the Cookie Monster, Penguins Paradise and Monkey in a Tree. And each one has its own illustration showing what is in the sundae and an architect's layout of how the sundae is constructed. If I have any complaint it's that the older sundaes are all hand drawn and the newer ones were done on a computer. That's a crappy complaint, I know, but the whole place has such a 1950s feel that you almost don't want to see any piece of modern technology creep in. We've been coming for years and some of the workers/owners have been there since we started coming. It's a great way to end the day, grab some ice cream and then go watch the sun set over Lake Erie. read more
