After perusing their flavors, we were able to go right up to the window and place our order. There appeared to be about two or three people working, but they were courteous and quick, including the woman who took our order. There were a couple of benches near this shop but more than likely, expect to stand or walk somewhere else to sit. We all ordered medium-sized ice cream cones and upgraded to the waffle cone for an additional 75 cents. I went with their New York Cheese Cake and Mint Oreo Fudge flavors. The NY Cheese Cake flavor was on top and was very creamy! I loved how the cherries were swirled in. The Mint Oreo Fudge was an excellent closer for my ice cream cone as it was fudgy with plenty of Oreo cookie pieces and the right amount of mint flavor. The medium-size was the perfect portion too, it left me plenty satisfied. I will admit the prices might seem a tad on the high side, but the ice cream was very good and I like to support local places when I can. Overall, The Sprinkle Cone scooped out a great experience with friendly customer service and quality hard ice cream. When I come back to Jamestown, I wouldn't have any problems coming back and trying a couple different flavors!

The ice cream was great, sweet and rich, plenty of flavor. I especially liked that the hard ice cream was served at the perfect temperature, soft but not fully melted so that it has a great mouth feel. Based on the flavors offered and the quality of the ice cream, I would guess that Barney's is serving Hershey's Ice Cream. A nice little quirky place to grab a sweet treat. The prices at Big Dipper are higher compared to other nearby options. While the staff is friendly, the lack of diversity is noticeable--all employees are white, slender, and blonde, which doesn't reflect the diversity of our community. Additionally, the signage is quite unsightly. Instead of repeatedly covering up changes, it would be much more appealing to have fresh, updated signs. read more

Our server was great, friendly and helpful; orders are taken on a tablet and sent wirelessly to the kitchen. The menu has one side of breakfast items and the second side of lunch items. The food is slightly upscale without being overly fussy. There are some vegetarian items and others that can be made vegetarian by just leaving off the meat items. I ended up ordering the classic french toast, others at the table ordered sandwiches, corned beef hash, and omelets. Despite the restaurant being busy the food came out in about 10-15 minutes, all of the food being delivered by several servers; our server did check in to make sure that everything was delivered and that we were enjoying out food. Everyone enjoyed their food, portions were good, the food was well presented. My french toast was very good, carmalized on the outside custardy on the inside, slightly sweet and savory. It was presented with whipped butter and syrup. A nicely done classic and a great brunch. I would highly recommend Tulip's, a great place for breakfast and lunch.
