A great coffee spot to go to if you're a true coffee connoisseur like me or a newbie come here and you won't be disappointed

This is everything you want a coffee shop to be: Cozy, local, with a large food menu, and artwork on the walls. I loved my waffles with berries and real maple syrup; the coffee in a generous mug was great too! Staff were welcoming and efficient, and explained where to find things. If it's difficult to find parking on the street, use the lot in the back of the building. This is the primary entrance for The Mullet, a cocktail lounge that opens two hours after the 49 Coffee House closes at 2pm. The two businesses share a hallway to a kitchen! read more

I was really looking forward to trying this coffee house , but sadly it did not live up to my expectations . I came in last Saturday and there was only 1 other table seated . We ordered a maple iced latte , a matcha tea , and another latte (I forgot the flavor ) . The lattes were good but the matcha was lacking in flavor , was almost all cream . But , the part that really put us off was the customer service . The lady that took our order and made our drinks was not pleasant and did not smile at all . She just shouted "Maple latte " or "Matcha " with a frown and without a Thank you . I'm not sure I would come back based on the service we received , it was not like they were too busy and overwhelmed, it was as if they couldn't be bothered . read more

We stopped here on a nice snowy Saturday morning. There was the right amount of snow, like a Hallmark movie. It looked like today would be a perfect day, until we walked into this place. It was a slow day with not too many customers yet. The place has a nice cozy feel, besides the lackluster hearing. We ordered two coffees and two waffles. After 10 minutes, we received one waffle and a pour over coffee a few minutes later. Twenty minutes later, we had not received the rest of the order. When we checked, they said we had received everything. $28 (which includes a $6 tip) for a waffle and a pour over coffee doesn't seem right. In fact, I know they missed the other waffle and coffee, or someone else took our items. Either way, we decided to walk out. The one waffle we received was decent but they gave it to us in a take out container instead of a plate. My drip coffee, the only coffee we received, was the worst I had and had to be thrown out. As you will see, I never leave a 1 star review. This 1 star was deserved. There are so many other wonderful cafes in the area. Also, maybe verify before you tell a customer they are wrong. No one is trying to con you for a waffle and/or coffee. read more

Highly recommended! Awesome atmosphere, great location. Coffee was fantastic. Outdoor seating options were great, real Bistro feel with a hip indoor vibe. We didn't order a meal, but we had a delicious oatmeal bar. For those reading this comments about the price, this is on par with all COFFEE HOUSE experiences. This isn't McDonalds drive through. read more

Was brought in by a friend as it's about if the way for me, but fell in love. Super cute shop, very friendly staff and some really creative food and drink choices! We stopped in on a Wednesday afternoon and we're surprised by how consistently busy it was throughout our lunch. After getting our food and drinks, we could see why. My friend had been in before and recommended the chai. We also scoped out the food menu online and when we saw they had a pickle grilled cheese, we were both sold. We both got it on sourdough, bacon is included with the cheese and pickles as well as a side of honey mustard and chips. We both loved our sandwich, but agreed (we LOVE pickles) that next time we will order extra pickles. Otherwise, it was perfect. We ended up ordering drinks with lunch as well as drinks to go as we were intrigued by the menu. We both had cold brews w/maple cold foam and pumpkin spice, I had an iced lavender dirty chai and she had an iced pina colada hojicha. Neither of us had tried hojicha before and paired with the pina colada flavors, it was really interesting in a good way. Loved the lavender chai and cold brews. Great little spot on Springville, definitely recommend stopping in if you are in the area. So many good flavors, take a chance and try something new! read more

Came here for lunch and had a fantastic experience! There's an extensive beverage menu and the food menu has an interesting selection of sandwiches as well. I chose the cinnamon banana which was served with your choice of PB, almond butter, or Nutella, on two soft waffles (like a sandwich). I chose PB and the sandwich was filling and absolutely delicious too! It came with a side of plain chips. I also got a malt macaron that was also pretty tasty. Service was quick and courteous. Gender neutral bathroom was clean. Relaxing atmosphere. I'd love to come here again next time I'm in the area. read more

We ordered mac n cheese, a smoothie, and a couple of paninis. Everything was delicious. I loved the pulled pork panini - it had mac n cheese and pickles inside, it was so filling. The smoothie was very fairly priced at $5. A few more smoothie flavors would be nice. The tables and floors needed a cleaning (bits of food and a spoon under the table, not during a busy time). read more

This is a great little coffee shop! Drip, pour overs and espresso drinks. All the usual coffee suspects. Interesting food choices. I had hummus toast with pesto, fresh mozz and tomato. It was tasty. My friend had a Belgian waffle with fruit and whipped. She said it was pre made and cold. That's a bit disappointing. Order at the counter and find a seat. They'll call you when your order is ready. The service is friendly and the atmosphere is calm. It's a nice place to stop in when you're in Springville. read more

We went for my birthday and the cocktails at The Mullet were LOCKED IN! Service was so friendly and always ready to help!

Very good breakfast. They offer a lot of different menu items, including specials which is great for a small little coffee shop. My favorite part of this breakfast was how they used the panini press on the sandwich. Made it so much crispier and delicious. Definitely stop in this place if you're in town! read more

This is such a cute life coffee shop that also has great options for breakfast and lunch! All of the hot coffee options sounded great but I couldn't resist the vanilla bean iced frappe. It was good and tasted like a milk shake, I'm not sure if it had any coffee in it but if it did, you couldn't taste it. I had a breakfast sandwich with egg Bacon and cheese on a bagel and not only was the bagel the most amazing bagel but they pressed the sandwich so it was super toasty. They also had a toast options with eggs Benedict and that would be my go to for my next visit For sure! I will definitely be back read more

Boy was I happy to have chosen here for a nice lunch. I went here on a Sunday afternoon with my girlfriend and we were very happy with our experience. We happened to know someone working which was super nice and the service was quick. The space is so homey and welcoming with natural light and greenery. My girlfriend got the sweet potato hummus bowl and I got a BLT with pesto and we both enjoyed our meals very much. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the Springville/ Buffalo area! read more

I've been there a few times, the staff is great and I like the food. They often have a water bowl outside for dogs too, and I like that. Ambiance is fine, older floor and tables, but there's nothing wrong with them. The have a few vegan alternatives and can make late with several options like oat milk, almond milk etc. It's a nice place and great people there. read more

What a cute little place- the menu was pretty big for such a tiny place where one girl was taking orders, wiping down tables, making coffee, and making the food. What a nice little spot! I've been out the area for a long time, but we met up here with some family for breakfast. Nitro cold brew, waffles, paninis and BBQ pork (local dude, Jake The Fat Man BBQ by the way) all in one quaint little joint? Got my vote! The sweet potato breakfast bowl was great, Pulled pork with Mac and pickles, fantastic...also, avocado toast looked as delicious as it tasted. Great to have this little shop in the town now, it needed this! It's small, so maybe not great for large groups, but it's got some great character and some nice seating for couples or small gathering of friends. read more

This is one of my favorite guilty pleasures! The food is always amazing, fresh, and the taste is better than I'd get at a lot of other places. The cinnamon bun and brown sugar lattes are my favorite go-to's for a drink. I have to admit, I'm not a huge coffee connoisseur, but the ladies always are helpful if you want to try something new. Today I had a Pickle & Bacon Grilled Cheese and it's sooooooo yummy! I absolutely LOVE the mustard they put with it. The serving is the perfect portion for lunch or a quick dinner if you need one! I'm also a HUGE fan of the Forbidden Fruit Toast! I highly recommend all of the 49 locations! It helps that the vibe is always calm, inviting, and friendly too! Love the "coffee house" style music they put on everyday as well. read more

What a great find! We were looking for a place to stop for lunch that was "not a chain" when we parked right in front of 49 Coffee. The paninis were very good and not over toasted. The pesto on my sisters was delicious. I also had a brown sugar latte that was very yummy. Both my sister and mom thought that the mac and cheese could have had a bit more cheese but that's the only bad thing we can say. read more

A hidden gem in Springville!! I had the homemade tomato basil soup and caprese, which were both excellent and flavorful. I also got a cinnamon almond latte, many great choices for coffee! So refreshing to have fresh, quality food that doesn't make you feel like a slug in an area that I nearly gave up on! The atmosphere is modern and cozy, while still honoring the character of the building and history. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Will be back to springville for this cafe! read more

Awesome food and drink. They have a variety of specialty sandwiches with a unique flare and offer waffles as one of the breads for any sandwich. They have been here only 2 months so be patient with them. I had the buffalo chicken. Sandwich with maple slaw on a waffle- Very tasty and refreshingly unique for the region. They have homemade fresh bakery which might not have the 5 Star look in decorating. But they sure are in taste! The only reason I didn't give them a 5 was that the espresso machine was down and they couldn't do any espresso drinks. Other than that, great food, enthusiastic owners. Glad to see a local business going up!! Support them! read more

The atmosphere is awesome, food is amazing but the coffee is not great. I've tried lattes, cold brew and just plain coffee. I've had them add vanilla hoping to mask the acidity of the shots but it's just awful. Even the cold brew tastes like dirty water, even WITH the vanilla.
