We had no idea that this spot was here. We had been in Ellicottville but there was an event going on in the village so it was very busy and not a lot of parking. We decided it would be easier to find a spot in Springville for lunch. Upon entering our server was happy to serve up 2 strong and tasty margaritas and some fresh chips and salsa. We were starving so we happily snacked while we picked our meals. I ended up with the carne asada and my significant other chose the quesadilla mexicana. Both plates were loaded with food and we each had a 2nd meal for the next day. Both menu options were very flavorful and had authentic seasoning. The only thing I'll mention is almost all of the meat was over cooked. It would have been even better if it was taken off the heat a few minutes earlier. Overall an OK experience. It had beautiful murals throughout and a vibrant dining area, but it was a bit loud. The server had trouble hearing us. Granted, they were a little busy which is a good sign for a business. I was with a group and we had asked if it was OK to order something and substitute out the meat ingredients, as we didn't want to be a nuisance. The server nodded cheerily and said it's not a problem at all. Unfortunately, when we received the dish that was substituted, it was still meat. After a nice hike at Scoby Dam, we were in the mood for some Mexican . I noticed a margarita special for $4.95 , who am I to say no to a deal like that? I opted for a peach margarita, it was refreshing and hit the spot. The free salsa and chips were decent.... the salsa was a bit on the spicy side (no complaints here, but for some it may be too hot) and the chips were good but mostly crumbs at the end of the basket. Onto the entrees.... I got the quesadilla Mexicana , but substituted mushrooms for the chorizo , my friends split an entree that was some sort of Mexican trio. I did like that the quesadilla was super cheesy with lots of mushrooms , however no chicken was in it (as described) and it could have been crispier (I had to use a fork and knife for the whole thing) . My friends liked their combo for the most part except for the tamale, they stated was a bit dry. Service was decent, not very busy, somewhat attentive. I eat there whenever I'm in town. Service and quality are consistently very good. Flavors are excellent. In fact, I usually spend 3 weeks in Mexico yearly, and this is as close as I've found to what I eat locally in MX. Yum. BTW, the Chili Relenos are worth the trip alone. read more

My family is from this area and it's so great to see all of the Buffalo Bills flags and trucks and...tractors. My people. Greeted warmly, seated quickly. Loads of regulars and a general fondness for the place I could see the cooks, cooking. I know that's a silly thing to say. But there is a difference between thawing/heating and cooking. And these folks were COOKING. Flavorful, good drink menu and we may come a time or two more as our home base. A small big thing that may be a shift issue, but the ice cooler had the scooper inside as its home. I've seen this plenty of places and I genuinely don't know that restaurants know the risk. I went to lunch with my friend during the week to this popular Mexican Restaurant in Springville New York. I love Mexican food so I skipped breakfast to be sure to have room for a BIG lunch. The food was good. Very authentic. The restaurant serves unlimited fresh tortilla chips and delicious homemade salsa and this comes within minutes of being seated. We both ordered a fresh Jalapeno Margarita (why not, it is 5 o'clock somewhere.....) which were delicious...and I ordered La Parrilla (like fajitas...with flour tortillas, three meats and veggies) and my friend ordered a steak burrito. We also ordered the appetizer of fresh gucamole. The dishes came with refried beans, rice and veggie garnishment. I liked my meal although the the steak was a bit chewy. My friend received a chicken burrito rather than the steak he ordered. The fresh made guacamole was really very creamy and good. I would have given this place 3.5 stars if half stars were available but due to the chewy steak and my friends wrong order (although he said the chicken burrito was quite good!) this experience was downgraded to a three. read more

Stopped in for a quick dinner after leaving hoots tanning and S&S taxidermy. This Place was not very busy when we arrived. Hostess greeted us immediately and in a few seconds we were seated. Took us a while to order with this huge menu. In minutes we had our drinks and placed our order. I went with the burrito Bamba and it was fabulous. Wife didn't want her black beans and I am usually not a fan but these were amazing and melt-in-your-mouth delicious! A must try. Pretty pricey. Most dishes on the menu are $15+. And chips and salsa are not free refills. Any other Mexican restaurant of this nature we frequent has free refills on the chips and salsa, but Fiesta Bamba charges $3.50 each refill. Luckily we noticed this on the menu in time. The restaurant was comfortable enough, with high booths and bright colors. We were in on a Friday at about 8pm, and although the restaurant calls itself a 'family restaurant', I'd beware on weekend nights during ski and snowmobile season. There were several rowdy, loudly-swearing tables of patrons. It doesn't bother me, and our teen daughter with us has heard it all in high school, so we were okay. But little children could pick up a serious potty-mouth here. The food itself was good. Our waitress was very friendly about accommodating some of our meals to be vegan or vegetarian. Our daughter is vegan, and ordered the Hawaiian tacos, no meat or cheese, add beans, with a side of beans and rice. I am vegetarian, and ordered the taco salad, no meat. We shared a mushroom quesadilla, no cheese. My husband is easy, and ordered a taco platter as is, plus a strawberry frozen margarita. Service was a bit slow on the busy night, but nothing too unreasonable. Portions were ample, and everything that was supposed to be hot was served piping hot and fresh. I was particularly impressed with my daughter's Hawaiian tacos, with warm grilled pineapple chunks that were delicious. My taco salad was large and generous on all of the toppings. My husband was pleased with his taco platter, and humored by the rice and beans that came served in their own little mini tortilla bowls. Three entrees, one margarita, and one appetizer-sized quesadilla came to just over $70. With two of us just drinking water, a $23+ per head price tag, plus tip, is too high for this food. It was good Mexican food, but in the grand scheme of things, mostly shells and veggies, and should not cost this much. I had heard about this place from a friend and we finally made it down to Springville to try it out- Wish we hadn't waited so long!! Walked in on a Thursday night to find the place pretty busy but we were able to get a table no problem. Out waitress brought us over a fresh basket of tortilla chips and salsa - chips were excellent! Light and crispy! I have found many places switching to a thicker chip that just doesn't taste fresh and crisp so these made it hard to stop eating them! After browsing the menu and photos on Yelp I decided to go with the California Burrito with chicken. The food came out pretty fast and it was hot! The burrito was HUGE!! Guess who's back, back again. Yes, I went back and I'm sharing with my friends :) I've always sang high praises for this establishment, even though some days the service is a little underwhelming. The food is always above standard. This time, our server was on top of everything despite having an hugely full restaurant on a Saturday night. She refilled our water's multiple times. Made sure everything was good. (Top marks here) Starting complimentary chips and salsa are always so good. You know they make that salsa in house as the taste is always a little different. It was a bit spicier than usual this time, which brings myself (an avid heat fan) great joy. We always start with the chorizo queso dip. I could spread that on anything and it would be delicious. It's great on the soft tortillas they provide and those chips for sure. Decided to try a new thing this visit. I got Ranchiladas, which is a cheese enchilada, a chicken enchilada, and 8oz steak and rice and black beans. The cheese enchilada was my favorite item on the plate. (It was all good, but that cheese though) The steak came on a separate hot fajita plate, so it was definitely a bit overdone for me but I enjoyed the flavor still. The rice was fluffy and the black beans were just in a tasty cooking sauce that I added directly to my rice and proceeded to inhale. (My mother also got this plate of food and ate almost the whole thing, which fr her is high praise indeed) My sister got a huge plate sized burrito filled with al pastor. She though the meat inside was tender and flavorful and it came smothered in the decadent cheese sauce so that is always a plus. Her re-fried beans and rice disappeared with the remaining sauce on the plate. We were to full for dessert this time. (Don't sleep on the fried ice cream or churros though, they are awesome.) Let me start by saying that this place has been our favorite Mexican go to for the past three years. We drive down from Buffalo once a month to eat here. My wife & I, along with my brother & his wife went here on 4/23/21. Let me tell you it was not the same anymore. This place has gone downhill. First of all the meat tasted old and tough, like it was leftover , or was used from a previous meal then reheated. The meat used to be perfectly seasoned. This meat , both steak & chicken was dead. It tasted like nothing. All of us used the rest rooms. The wife's complained how dirty the bathrooms were.The men's rest room was not only dirty, but the toilet seat was falling off the toilet. I hope they get their act together & get things back on track. We will not be eating here any time soon!!! read more

I have had every Mexican joint around and there's only 1 I would recommend.. well until I tried this place. It was clean, the staff was very friendly as the salsa was one of the best around. The presentation of the food was different because they served the dips in small taco shells in a bowl shape. I left one star so I can return because I went against better judgment and tried something new (I always get chimichangas) but I talked myself into the California burrito because it said it had guac inside and I needed to see it in action. This place was great for a Mexican joint in the middle of the county. The free salsa and chips were amazing and the staff was quick to always have them refilled. We tried the dip trio and it was tasty but I feel it was missing the white cheese/queso. My dish was the chicken chimichangas and my gosh they were great!!! These were life's with the queso and I couldn't even finish it all! I ended the meal with a tasting of the fried ice cream which was good, but not the best I've had. Who would have thought a pretty good Mexican restaurant be in Springville out of all places. I was looking for a place to eat after meeting a friend in Chaffee and this place came up on my Yelp app with a very high rating because I was hungry for dinner. This place is located on the main strip where all the other business are like car dealerships and Walmart etc. Fairly big parking lot in the front so there is no need to worry about parking. You get complementary salsa and chips. The salsa was pretty good and tasted fresh. Wish you got a little more than the little bottle they give you. I ordered side guacamole and man that was very fresh too! For my main meal, I ordered a chimichanga meal that comes with two chimichanga rolls, beans, rice, lettuce etc. It came out fresh as possible because i Couldn't eat it because it was so hot which is a great thing! Also the staff was very nice and courteous always checking up on me if I need anything etc. I would give this place a 5 stars but was shocked at the priceing for a little scoop of guacamole which was over $4.
