I arrived after the Farmer's Market in Springville for something substantial. Their menu listed my all-time, deep-brain favorite: Sauteed mushrooms on toast. As an Anglo-Saxon, this is hugely comforting food! I also purchased a pair of cardamom -lemon cookies sold there, from a bakery whose name was in Seneca language, so, local!! They were great, with the sea salt topping. My hot chocolate came with whipped cream out of a refrigerated dispenser, as for seltzer: It was great! We took a chance on the Arts Cafe for Mother's Day, even though we had not been there before. It did not disappoint! The food was sooo good. They put out a beautiful buffet spread. (No bagged eggs in sight :) ) Everything was homemade and gorgeously presented. My favorites were the egg bake and the avocado egg salad on croissant. The citrus mimosas were a perfect combination. We visited the counter to place our coffee and cocktail orders, but the service was all around excellent. Lots of attentive staff around to make the day perfect for my mom and family. The place has a great atmosphere. Lots of smiling faces, pretty library, beautiful decor, rooftop garden space. During the visit, we had the pleasure of enjoying a live performance of a singer/songwriter on their stage, right in the cafe. The sound was good too! Can't wait to go back. read more

While attending a Yelp Elite event at Art's Café, I was so impressed with the sandwich samples that I decided to stay and have dinner here. In short, I had a great experience! For the Yelp Elite event, I arrived right around 6pm on a Thursday. I was so glad to see the HUGE parking lot behind the café, so zero issues finding parking here! I came through the rear entrance and was surprised to find a small, cozy library. As I made my way to the front, I was struck by the rustic architecture and furniture. In the front, there were several tables and high-top tables with stools as well as a small stage to the right of the front entrance from the street. This area was cozy yet spacious. Just to note, there is a single, unisex restroom near the small library section. In addition, there is an upstairs and downstairs, with the space upstairs serving as apartments and the downstairs serving as a meeting, collaboration space. After spending about an hour sampling various sandwiches, some soup, and more cookies that I should have, I knew I wanted to stay and order a full sandwich for dinner. To order, I walked up to the counter where a selection of fresh-baked breads and cookies were on display behind glass, and placed my order with a friendly, courteous young woman. Afterward I sat back down at the table and continued chatting with a Yelp Elite friend. About ten minutes later, my sandwich was brought over to me at the table. What sandwich did I order for dinner? I noticed their Thursday Specials menu and this sandwich called to me: "The Jimmy" Panini, Art Café's take on an Italian sub, which was turkey, salami, tomato jam, pepperjack cheese, pepperoncini, red onion, romaine lettuce, oil & mayo all perfectly pressed between fresh-baked Springville Sourdough. The presentation of the sandwich itself was excellent, a generous portion of meats and cheese between two pretty much perfect panini-pressed slices of sourdough. Upon first bite, the crunch of the bread brought a big smile to my face! Everything inside the sandwich was fresh and tasted awesome. I really liked the tomato jam underneath the meats and the dill pickle on the side had a nice snap with each bite. The red onion and oil were fragrant, so beware that you'd want to pop a mint afterward. The size of the sandwich was excellent, surprisingly filling. The price was a little over $14 (04/2026), which I felt was very reasonable given the size and the fresh, high-quality ingredients. Art's Café really impressed me! This small-town café has a team of community-owners behind it that truly care about making Springville and the areas surrounding it better. The staff were very pleasant and the food, simply put, excellent! If I didn't see the Thursday Specials menu, I had a couple sandwiches to choose from that I really wanted to try. Now, being a Cheektowaga-resident, I don't pass through southern-Erie County often with this being my first time in Springville, but if/when I do pass through again, I will make a point to stop into Art's Café. Next time, I want to order from their breakfast menu, maybe a pastry (or two :D ), and I NEED to get at least one of their Rosemary Delights, Lemon Cardamom, and Chocolate Chip cookies to-go! read more

This is a gem in the small town of Springville and worth the drive from Buffalo. We loved the friendly service, the various coffee and food selections, and the cool vintage aesthetics of the building. They also have a bunch of different activities during the week, so its worth to check out their social media pages. On this occasion, we both ordered coffees and Avocado toast, which were both delicious. read more
