Stopped here on a motorcycle ride through the south parts of WNY. Nice place. Rural. Biscuits And gravy were great, and breakfast is served all day. Which is totally fine by me.

Enjoyed our lunch here very much. Shared a gigantic Turkey club on sourdough with hubby....absolutely delicious...piled high with delicious Turkey breast and bacon... and the fries were delicious-hot and crispy outside and tender inside. Plenty to fill both of us nicely. Will definitely return when in Arcade area. A++.

We came here for a late holiday day brunch on Columbus Day (am I still allowed to call it this? Italian American Day? Indiginous Peoples Day?) We easily found parking and when we entered the facility we were told to choose our seating. Seating was plentiful although the place was bustling. The restaurant is bright, airy and clean. A hunter's woodland theme abounds. We were quickly given menus and asked for our drink order. We ordered coffees. The menu was fairly expansive. I focused on breakfast and my husband focused on lunch. I ordered the "Slinging Hash" which was billed as poached egg over corned beef hash on an English Muffin smothered in cheese sauce, with home fries. I was asked if I would like onion in the home fries which was a nice touch. I ordered the hash browns crispy with onions. I asked if the dish had one or two eggs, as the menu seemed to indicate one egg with the use of the phrase "poached egg." I was told two eggs, so I asked to order an extra egg (three eggs total). My husband ordered the turkey club on wheat toast. My dish came with what appeared to be only two poached eggs. I pointed out to the server that I had ordered an additional egg and she said. "Yes, it is in there." Thinking that perhaps my extra egg was shy and had buried itself under some cheese sauce or corned beef hash, I did not argue with her, but dug in. Quickly and sadly I found that no additional egg was playing hide and seek with me. Despite my annoyance at my absent egg, I was happy with the dish otherwise, it was quite delicious! The hash browns were perfectly crispy. My husband reported that his turkey club was also excellent. The bacon was crisp and the turkey moist. The sandwich was huge, so hubby asked for a take out box for half. The take out box was large and made of paper rather than plastic--environmentally friendly. We were freely offered many coffee refills by multiple servers. In all, a nice breakfast joint with friendly and attentive staff. The bill was about $30 bucks so with a $6 tip it was $36. I was charged $1.20 for my vacationing egg. Low on energy, I decided not to bring it to the establishment's attention. I actually believe that the dish is as billed on the menu..."poached EGG" and thus I likely got my "extra egg." This will remain a deep mystery until the next time I come here.

Food and service was great. I'll definitely be going again. Omelette's are nicely filled and home fries are plenty and tasteful.

Seafood dinner was over cooked. Fish part was good but they use a ton of breading. May have to find a new place!

I will never recommend this place, not even to my worst enemy. Arrived and was put on a list to get a table. After several other parties arrived and asked to be put on the list, they were seated well before us. I decided not to eat any food because if they can't follow a list to sit people correctly than they probably can't cook food properly either. Place is cramped but cozy. I won't be back. Pancakes looked like shit. Paper thin.... and syrup seemed very water as people used it.

We all ordered pancakes; some also ordered a couple of fried eggs for a couple of bucks more. The first plate was three pancakes for each of us. The waitresses pay attention and when most of the people at the table are on their last pancake, a serving plate piled high with more pancakes is brought to the table. There does not seem to be a limit in the number of "refill" serving platters brought out. Today, for the nine of us, there were only 2 refill platters. Of course, the point of dining here vs. a pancake chain restaurant, is the maple syrup which comes from the trees on the land connected to this restaurant. Moore's is only open during the maple tree tapping season. This year it is only late February to April 12th. Maple syrup aficionados have to wait a year to return for this pancake breakfast.

You know you're close when your phone goes into SOS mode and you fully commit to pancakes & maple syrup as a survival plan! I learned something new on this visit. We were initially shown to a table, but since only 3 of our 4 party members had arrived, we were asked to return to the lobby until everyone was present. The server assured us that once our fourth arrived, we'd be seated with the next available table, and that's exactly what happened. It gave us a few extra moments to watch pancakes methodically and continuously be poured, flipped and served from the griddle. We had the chance to sit in the original dining room, which features beautiful hand-painted murals. The booth cushions are well worn from years of use, adding to the charm and nostalgia of the space. The room itself felt bright, warm, and inviting. Service from Michelle was prompt and friendly, even with the steady pace of the restaurant. We ordered three AYCE pancake and sausage plates, coffees, a kids' pancake, and a maple milkshake. Pro tip: skip sugar and add maple syrup to your coffee. Trust me! Whether you're visiting with a few family members or bringing a large group, the Maple Tree Inn is a place full of memories, tradition, and perfectly maple-infused breakfasts. Remember to bring along cash or a check since digital payment is not an option. And mark your calendar for next season because they are only open for 2 months each year between February through April, while the sap is flowing. There's 2 doors and people coming in from both directions making a mad scramble for any open seats. We saw people waiting for 20 minutes, without a waiter/waitress, and people who walked right-in and immediately got service. If this place was properly managed this would be a 5 star rating. They have a variety of mixed breakfast drinks, smoothies and breakfast food. I got 2 eggs, homefries, bacon and toast. My wife got a sausage breakfast burrito. The food was honestly really great! We also got coffee but refills were hard to come by. Our server was working hard, so I don't blame him, but the place was just too chaotic. Since this is a tourist destination with frequent surges in population these issues shouldn't exist. Your sit down breakfast options in town are limited so give it a try!

It's definitely got a polished casual, wine bar sort of vibe to it so you can pretty much dress however you want. It's not the normal sort of place you'd go to for breakfast necessarily, but it was open and my friends swore by it. My kids got hot chocolates and the adults all got Irish coffees. The hot chocolates were decadent and delicious without being scorching hot. PERFECT for the kids! My friends loved their Irish coffees as their typical go-to. I like my coffee a bit on the sweeter/creamier side and this wasn't really it with a bit of that coffee bitterness still coming through that was a bit of a turnoff for me. That's just me and my personal taste though, so take it with a grain of salt. My kids shared a French toast with blueberries (no kids menu available, it seems) and it was HUGE. They will usually pound an adult portion of anything between the two of them and even this was too much. There were 2 extra thick slices to start and there was easily a half slice left, enough to fill a small to-go box up pretty solid. I got the burrito which came topped with salsa (ranchero) and cheddar cheese plus a side of shredded hash browns. The hash browns were half crispy and half limp but still quite tasty. The burrito itself was a good size though not enormous. While nothing mind blowing, especially for the $19 price tag, it was a solid meal overall. One of my friends got the lobster eggs benedict special and said it was life-changing. It was $24 and came with a massive hunk of lobster meat. For a $3 charge over the standard benedict, that's a steal and smartly priced for a good heaping of lobster. Getting the food out seemed to take a little bit of time, but the server was good about checking in on us throughout and the other staff we spoke to were also very friendly. Overall, a solid experience. Definitely paying a little bit extra for the ambience and ski resort town, but I'd still come back to check out the lunch and dinner offerings for sure!

I went here today with my kids and some friends and their kids (ages 6 to 8 months). It being a Sunday at 1ish, we figured we'd miss the lunch rush and be able to cruise in and out. Somewhat surprisingly, it was pretty much full (which isn't a bad thing), but we got lucky and were able to sit within about 10 minutes. The place is quite fun with walled-off bar and table areas that adjoin at the front with an open space and the small music stage. The decor was cool with rough cut wood everywhere and TVs playing the Olympics (go US curling team!). And even though it was really busy, it wasn't all that loud given the number of people. Once we got seated though is where things started going off the rails a bit. It took a little bit for our server to come see us and then even more time to take our orders. The whole time she seemed either disinterested or distracted and certainly in a rush. I also got that same kind of vibe from the other servers I saw bouncing around too. In any event, we got our orders in and then it took them quite a while to come out as well even though we didn't get anything really special - pot roast poutine and side salad for me, cheeseburger and fries for my son, pizza with black olives for my daughter, and then our friends got chicken fingers and fries and I think maybe another cheeseburger or something. All in all, I think we ended up being there around an hour and a half through no fault of our own. For a beverage, I ordered myself an espresso martini. Now, mind you when I asked for a cocktail menu, they had none. They also "only" had 3 or 4 kinds of gin, to which our server told us that's not actually what it's called the "Gin" Mill for (not sure if that was sarcasm or serious). Either way, not really what I was expecting but oh well. It is a pub after all. On the flip side of that, I saw what looked like some really excellent looking cocktails being served up at the bar. Seems like a missed opportunity to me. On the food side, my side salad was pretty basic - lettuce, green pepper, tomato, and onion. I asked for balsamic and ended up getting two ranch. Oh well, I still like ranch. The pot roast poutine was absolutely epic though. Is it trying to actively kill me? Of course it is with all that fatty meat, greasy fries, and gravy. Aren't I allowed to splurge for the sake of you readers out there though? The roast was melt in your mouth tender and some big chunks of it to boot. I brought about 3/4 home and it made excellent leftovers for dinner too! The pizza was solid with a good cheese to sauce ratio, a nice, fluffy crust, and good overall taste and texture. I got a bite of my son's (plain) cheeseburger and it was also quite good with quality-looking bun and some really nice sear marks on the burger. The fries weren't my favorite with the sort of weird crunchy texture-style that like a Burger King has, but that's really just my personal preference. At around 230 is when the band started playing, which was an older couple playing some country tunes. My kids decided to go out and dance for a couple minutes, which the musicians seemed to get a kick out of. It was tough to make out the words she was singing, but it was a fun vibe regardless and it wasn't obnoxiously loud either. All in all (and cheating looking at some of the other reviews), it seems like this place has some front-of-house issues that need addressing but their food and drink are pretty solid. Since there's not a ton of food choices in town, I'd consider going again, but with EBC and others in walking distance, I guess there's not really any compelling reason that I should when I only make it down this way a couple times a year.

Had to wait longer than normal for the hostess to seat me. It's was extremely difficult to communicate with the server due to the volume, however, I ordered the French onion soup, not bad. This establishment has the historical charm, but I could've done without all the dead Wildlife creatures hanging out all over the walls. FYI, some individuals like myself, prefer seeing them alive, especially while you're eating. But, each for their own. And I have to agree with other reviews on service being extremely slow .
