I have always liked the wings here, I just always get distracted by all the other good food like the burgers and chicken fingers. But their wings are one of my favorite in all of Buffalo. They have so many good flavors but I ended up going with the kickin bourbon bbq and some medium this time. Service here is always fast and they really have perfected the customer service factor. The vibes here always have me with the nostalgia of the old restaurants and bars from way back. It's great with all the TVs and decor. This is what they mean by hidden gem. Great spot with great service and food. You can't go wrong here.

They have a TON of flavors to choose from. We love the Jamaican jerk sauce and now get it on our chicken sandwiches and wraps. I've also tried and enjoyed the hot garlic sauce. The wings are 75 cents with some specialty sauces at a slightly higher price. We also enjoy the Thursday special that is $12 burgers, chicken sandwiches, and chicken wraps! Includes fries and a pickle. I've tried several of the chicken wraps and my favorite is the Island Blitz with no tomato. We will soon come for the new Monday taco special! (They are closed on Tuesdays) Mark the bartender is both friendly and attentive. We've even had the pleasure of talking to Steve the cook who makes the delicious food. There are other items I want to try on the menu, but it's hard because I love that wrap so much. I'm so glad we decided to stop for those wings because now this is one of our regular dining spots. Check it out you won't be disappointed.

Went to Lumberjacks and immediately realized this place has basically everything you need for a…read moregood afternoon: a great patio on the water, good food, decent prices (which in 2026 deserves its own five-star review), cold drinks, and live music that somehow managed to be loud enough to enjoy without making me question whether my hearing insurance was up to date. The menu is basically the greatest hits of American civilization: burgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, Italian sausage, decent ice cream selection, and for those under 12 who can still confidently recite the Pledge of Allegiance without accidentally starting with "In God We Trust." Free i scream you scream an ice cream cone!!! They've also got beer, wine, and mimosas, because apparently Sea worthy Lumberjacks believes in equality between breakfast, lunch, and questionable afternoon decisions. But i didn't live that dangerous and had bottomless raspberry tea which was absolutely delicious. Like, "Why have I been drinking regular tea like some kind of peasant?" delicious. The band was great, too. And then came the plot twist....They announced that Lumberjacks is closing at the end of the season because the property has been bought by the city. Cue the dramatic violin music. So apparently, after providing waterfront food, beverages, music, and a place for people to sit around enjoying themselves, civilization has decided we've had enough. The city has acquired the property, and the Lumberjacks era is coming to an end. Which is unfortunate because if I had a boat and an eye patch, I'd probably be permanently docked here by now. I'd have a raspberry tea in one hand, a beer in the other, and absolutely no idea where my boat came from. Great food. Great waterfront patio. Reasonable prices. Good music. Good drinks. And apparently a limited-time offer because the city is taking over. If you haven't been, go before the season ends. Because nothing says "support your local restaurant" quite like finding out it's being taken away and suddenly developing a deep emotional attachment to the place. 10/10 would return. 11/10 if I had a boat. 12/10 if someone gives me an eye patch. ‍

I'd first had these at taste of buffalo last year and was wow'd by them, so wanted to enjoy them again. I ordered the version with balsamic and goat cheese, and was not disappointed. A good sized serving made for a hearty appetizer! We were able to sit at an outside table so the noise level inside was not an issue; it was easy for the 4 of us to carry on conversation.

The beef on weck was not very hot and the fries were not either. I was disappointed because I do like their beers.

It's literally just steps away from the KeyBank Center, making it an ideal pre-game spot. The beer selection is excellent, with tons of options to choose from. My favourite was the Raspberry Wheat, it was super refreshing and packed with flavour. The ladies behind the bar were also kind enough to let me try a couple of different samples before I made my decision, which is always appreciated. For food, I ordered the Blackened Chicken Sandwich. To be honest, it wasn't quite the style of blackened chicken I'm used to. It felt more like grilled chicken with Cajun seasoning than a true blackened preparation. That said, it was still a very enjoyable sandwich. The chicken was juicy, full of flavour, and not dry at all, and the bacon was cooked exactly the way I like it. The fries were nicely seasoned and paired perfectly with the meal. The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere with plenty of seating and lots of TVs, including some absolutely massive screens, making it a great place to catch other games while enjoying a beer. Great beer, good food, friendly service, and an unbeatable location for Sabres fans. I'll definitely be back! For more food, brewery, and travel reviews, check out our YouTube channel A&M Roam!

Last Friday, we ended up at Josif's. After a short wait at the bar, we were seated and our server, Grace, quickly took our drink orders. The menus had a wide variety of appetizers and entrees. We started with the mussels, stuffed peppers, and Bang Bang shrimp. All were very good. I felt guilty because I lobbied hard for the mussels, only to find that the shrimp were amazing and scarfed down as many as I could without looking like a glutton. All of the apps disappeared quickly and we ordered our mains. I had the tomahawk pork chop, others ordered salmon, a fish fry, beef tips, etc. Everyone loved their meals and I was lucky enough to be full enough from the apps that I took some of the chop home. (It was not a pretty picture as Ifeeedily hunkered over the computer the next day gnawing on the chop bone.) The simplicity of the decor inside belies the quality of the food. The staff is friendly and professional. Definitely worth a ride down Route 62 to Collins.
