I've been here for lunch twice now. The first time I had the lobster roll, which is a special on the board, and today I had the Rueben sandwich. First, the place looks much better now than it did as Hardy's. I know the guy who used to own it and this is a significant upgrade. Appearance wise this is a win. The service has been good both times I've been there, with the same woman serving me both times. Nice lady, pretty quick to give service. No major complaints. The food is mediocre. I'd even go as far to say that it isn't good. The lobster roll was on a buttery hotdog bun and had lumps of lobster meat that appears to be from a can, though I could be wrong. My problem with the Rueben wasn't the flavor but the size. It had two thin pieces of meat on a $14 sandwich. I mean, for $14, I expect the sandwich to be meaty. I likely won't visit this place again given how mid the food was and how sad the portions were (the fries come out in a tiny basket, literally). If I were to come again, it would be for the ambience. read more

We met our friends here for lunch. This place was decorated so nice. It was beautiful with all the different Christmas decorations & other things. It has comfortable seating & numerous areas to sit. Our waitress was nice, helpful, quick to respond when we needed something. There was a menu board with all kinds of "specials" as well as the regular menu. There were 4 of us & we each had something different & all enjoyed our meals. Turkey barley soup, shrimp cocktail, & fried pickles were our appetizers which were yummy! We had a Reuben sandwich with fries, a Lee Burger & coleslaw, a Rusty Nail burger & fries, & pulled pork sandwich with added coleslaw on it with fries. OMG none of us had any complaints!!! Pretty decent place! The service here is top notch! I remember what this restaurant used to be and was looking forward to trying it out. Greeted n seated quickly and food arrived fast. Had to try the chicken fingers, my go to! They were tossed in bbq, and the sauce was great. Big sizes too so definitely took some to go. My husband enjoyed his grilled cheese and our son the Mac n cheese. The parents had some fish type of platter and also got these fried mushrooms. Everyone was happy with their meals! From the outside you'd think this was just a small town tavern. We walked in (we just got into town and were hungry) to find the dining tables and the bar are almost full! We found a high top on the bar and were pleasantly greeted by the bartender. A charming country vibe, clean, lively well decorated with not only BuffaloBills memorabilia but cool stuff like the garden rake tines used to hang wine glasses! The food was VERY good for a tavern- right down to the "RN" seared into the top of my hamburger bun! (Cajun fries were a bit salty for my taste-but they even offered to bring me something in their place! Great food, great ambiance and the trivia night was fun too! read more

The Scarlet Vetter says.....the hubby and I did not want to cook on a Tuesday night, so we headed down to this local establishment to try it for dinner. It was recently renovated, renamed, and given a complete makeover, and the menu did a complete overhaul (it used to be Hardy's Tavern). The facility is really quite nice with a lot of very interesting touches on the inside to make it very homey and cozy. My husband ordered French Onion Soup and a Bourbon Burger with fries. I ordered a grilled wedge salad and a Reuben with tater tots. My husband reported that the soup was salty and lukewarn but flavorful. My grilled wedge was so so. I will note that served on the wedge were 2 slices of cucumber, 2 pieces of red onion and one slice of tomato, all of which were advertised on the menu as coming with the wedge for the total price of $10.99. So you can imagine my surprise when the bill came to find out I was being charged an extra $3 for these 3 items. $13.99 for the salad was crazy. My Reuben was very good. The tater tots were great, crispy on the outside, and moist on the inside. My husband said his burger was good, not great, but solid. The service was very fast and accomplished by a very pleasant woman who seemed to have her hands full with other tables and the bar, but she did a fabulous job. I would try out this place again in the hopes of being able to give it 4 stars. read more

Definitely not recommended! The place felt more like a meat market than a restaurant. People fondling each other at the bar, fighting, and the profanity coming from the wait staff and from the kitchen. Can't comment on the food because I couldn't stay in there any longer. Whoever owns this place should just quit the restaurant business and convert the place into a brothel. Seems that is what it is anyway. read more

Food: AMAZING....smoked brisket dinner out of this world. Flavorful, sides of in house smoked beans and coleslaw - delish!!!!! Had a Pittsburgh salad and again, the steak on top was soooo tender and flavorful. I hesitated as my experience with steak anything has not been great but this? 2 thumbs up. Sampled smoked pepperoncini creamed cheese on cracker, smoked wings and smoked bologna. Also very good. Soft and cozy ambiance with service a 10+. Was a bit of a drive for us but well worth it. Just had lunch at The Rusty Nail on the main drag in Delevan. It was remarkably good!! The atmosphere is clean and relaxed. The whole restaurant has been remodeled on the site of an old, very well-known biker bar. The interior has been beautifully updated. I chose a taco salad for lunch and my daughter had a Reuben sandwich. Both were delicious and filling. We took home a piece of pie for later. We ate out on the porch with music and a nice breeze. Our server was warm and friendly, explaining specials of the day. We were very impressed by the whole experience and will definitely visit again. read more
