From ignoring waiting patrons for pick up to demanding I open my app to prove it's actually my order because "I don't know who you are", even after showing a screen shot, I can't say I've ever encountered trying to do a quick up and being so irritated at the interaction. The odds of reciting an exact name and order in trying to take someone else's order would be pretty difficult. This type of interaction happened twice in a row, so for that alone we won't bother going again. Service is still a rather important aspect even if it's just picking up. As for the food, it was fine. Not awful, but not impressive either. The spring roll for $2.50 a piece had nothing but a few large chunks of cabbage in it and tasted like heavily used oil. No thanks. We also got a meal with noodles, beef and sweet and sour pork. Maybe it's good value for the quantity, and I thought the beef was decent. But the pork wasn't and the noodles were heavily covered in a salty sauce, which was kind of ok but definitely leaves you feeling greasy. The chicken part of the lemon chicken was good but the sauce had a thick jelly like consistency. There's better, nicer places in the area, so no need to return here. If you want greasy, food court style Chinese take out from a questionably clean establishment and can handle rude interactions, then go for it. But we won't!

They cater to several delivery apps and I've seen a lot of drivers picking-up food there. We usually opt to just call-in our orders and pick it up after 20 mins since we live close. You get a 10% discount for dinner orders (pick-up) plus saves a bit of money. They have a small dining area -- bar seating by the window. Their pad thai is delicious! We've tried tofu (with egg), shrimp (plus $3) and chicken. They don't scrimp on the shrimp so the additional price isn't bad plus the serving size is quite big. We've also tried #40 Black pepper (Chicken) - it was flavorful, lots of bamboo shoots and other veggies. #57 Pineapple fried rice with chicken -- it was okay, it was a bit moist for us as we prefer drier fried rice and the pineapple chunks were a wee bit too big. Their Thai tea was great. Loved their Basil Chicken fried rice (no peas and beans for us) -- so flavourful and lots of chicken pieces that it's enough to be eaten on its own without another viand. Reheated leftovers the next day and it was still yummy and flavourful. Their Chicken Satay is good too loved the satay sauce, portion size is bigger than your typical Malay/Thai restaurant and it comes with a side of potato chips. Really enjoyed my bowl of Tom Kha Chicken (coconut milk soup), big serving size and thicker soup -- so comforting and warming to the stomach and soul. Overall, Twinkle Thai is our go-to neighborhood Thai place. Pricing and serving sizes are really good value for money plus the food is made really well. Lastly, I'm glad that they are willing to modify our orders (by removing beans/legumes bec of hubby's dietary restrictions). I look forward to trying more things in their menu.

I ordered the mushroom egg Foo Young.. also really good and buttery, if I have one complaint it would be that the salt is a little on the heavy side. Finally I ordered barbeque pork northern style chow mein. I really like this, it was obviously stir fried in soya sauce with a chewy texture, and the pork was on the verge of crispy. I would definitely order this again. Parking is easy, there are plenty of stalls out front that are shared with other businesses, and it's right off W 6th Avenue.

There is always a lot of seating and we usually choose the booth. Every single time, we order the something with the moo shu pork and it ALWAYS satisfy -- I highly recommend this if you're able to eat meat. The food arrives relatively quickly. We are two small girls and we manage to finish our two orders to share every time. It really is that yummy. We have gone enough times that the workers are familiar with us. The Shanghai noodles had cabbage strips that looked like 2x4's!! This was the worst Chinese food I've had in a long time. Thankfully, my friends have told me they will not order from them again.
