Beef Spicy Beef Noodle/Rice Noodle Soup with Knife Cut Noodle

One of my fav Chinese restaurants in Orange County!! Been coming here for years. This place isn't too busy and I believe it's under-rated Must try: - Qinghai Clear Cold noodle (they run out by dinner sometimes) - Beef Noodle Soup with knife cut noodles - Beef Roll pancake We've came here over 10 times and these are our favorite things to order on repeat!

Noodle St is a spot serving up some authentic and delicious Chinese dishes. This spot is located in a plaza with a good amount of parking spots. Inside, they have a nice modern interior with a solid amount of seating. Wifey and I stopped by for dinner around 7pm and were seated right away. For their menu, they have a good selection to choose from. Wifey and I opted to get the Beef Roll, Savory Braised Chicken Noodles, and the Signature Beef Noodle Soup. Overall, everything that we had was delicious and filling with a generous portion size. All of the staff here are very welcoming and accommodating. We will definitely be back for another satisfying meal next time we are nearby the area!

High quality noodles, would recommend everything we ordered! No wait time for dinner and the food was served quickly. You can watch the chefs slicing the noodles fresh at the open kitchen. We ordered: - Signature beef noodle soup: Choice of spicy or non-spicy, we got non-spicy. Love the noodle texture a lot. Mild soup but not bland! - Lamb skewers: way better than some other spots like Northern cafe. A bit pricey so maybe I'll pass on this next time. Good to try though! - Beef rolls: lots of flavor, loved this a lot. Really like how the vegetables are cold inside, felt very fresh. - Minced beef noodles: my personal favorite!! Sauce is more complex than it looks. I was scraping down every last spoonful of it lol. Will be back!

Hands down the best place for hand-pulled noodles--and they're even open on Christmas! Every dish was exceptionally flavorful. The hand-pulled noodles were perfectly chewy with a generous portion that's great for sharing. Don't skip the cucumber- it adds the perfect refreshing crunch on the side. And their chili oil? An absolute must to drizzle on top for that extra kick. Service was fast, and you can really appreciate that everything is made fresh right in the open kitchen. It's a great spot whether you're planning a date night, family dinner, or even dining solo. Next time, I'm excited to try the no-spice clear broth, the broth itself is so rich and flavorful, and it's mild enough to be kid-friendly too. Definitely a place I'll be coming back to!

Noodle St always slaps and it's not ever crazy busy! I first went to Noodle St when I was at CSUF and I saw that they opened up a branch here and got so excited! Happy to report that it tastes just as good! Everything that I've tried here has always been clean, fresh and perfectly seasoned. Not to mention, the floor, bowls, silverware, etc is very clean which I don't always expect for an Asian place hahaha. My favorites are: -Cucumber Salad -Beef Roll -Signature Beef Soup If you haven't definitely try the knife cut, thicker noodles because they have a chewier texture in the best way possible! I don't like lam b myself but my friends who tried the lamb and like to eat lamb in general said that the lamb skewers were also very good (I tasted the spices dusted on top and it is very cumin heavy, which I personally don't like).

Friendly vibes and good service. Would go with friends if they wanted to go. Parking situation is great, easy to find parking. Recommend: beef noodle soup, beef rolls. Criticisms: knife cut noodles are too soft, soup is watery and salty, and dishes don't have very much meat in general.

Food: not pictured were the lamb skewers. SO good. We inhaled them before I remembered to take a picture. I don't like lamb in general, but these were delicious. My next second favorite was the beef noodle soup. And last but still very good were the beef pancakes. They were good the next day too. Service: a bit slow but no other complaints. Ambience: a good amount of indoor seating, a bit bright, and not the most inviting interior.

If you haven't tried noodle St get in your car now and head over immediately! In all seriousness, I didn't know what to expect from this restaurant and I was blown away. I was doing a happy dance the entire time we were there. QINGHAI CLEAR COLD NOODLE- Chewy noodles served with a chili and vinegar sauce. They are topped with fresh garlic and scallions. I could have eaten many servings of this. BEEF ROLL PANCAKE- Beef, green onions, cilantro and hoisin sauce wrapped in a soft and buttery pancake. This is probably the best beef roll pancake I've ever had. SPICY BEEF NOODLE- Chunks of beef shank, kale, pickled veggie, cilantro and green onions. The meat was so tender and the spicy level was perfect. Can't wait to go back and try more menu items.

This is always my go to spot when I'm craving some great quality noodles! Their signature beef noodle looks simple, but packed with great flavor. What really tops it off is their housemate spicy oil which isn't too spicy at all. You can always adjust the spice level of the noodle and add on more as you go from the spice jar on the side of your table (they are the same spice oil). Their minced beef dry noodles has a nice saucy touch to it. It also comes with a side of soup so you can taste their signature broth! The beef roll has a nice crunchy texture. The meat inside also is nice and warm! A lot of places who sell this has cold meats or not enough meat inside, but this has a great amount of meat. The restaurant was also doing a menu sampler for orange chicken. It had a nice tangy taste with a good crisp. Would recommend for this menu addition! The ambiance is great as well. There is an open kitchen where you see the chefs, who all wear masks for sanitary reasons. The servers were all really friendly and attentive. Great restaurant to bring your friends and family. Highly recommend!

To be perfectly honest, the main reason why we ended up coming to Noodle St was because we'd already been to our go-to spot for beef noodle soup more than once during this trip. However, that's not to say I hadn't already had my eye on this place - after seeing them pop up multiple times on my IG feed, and reading through a bunch of their reviews on Yelp, I'd had this place sitting in my list of bookmarks just for an occasion like this! Compared to our aforementioned spot for beef noodle soup (A & J), I absolutely love how parking here is so much easier. Granted, it helps that this complex is also a lot larger, but it doesn't change how much more convenient (and I can stop into H-Mart, too!). Plus, it was great how we were able to get seated immediately and how modern and clean the decor is. As far as the menu goes, it's pretty straightforward and not all that extensive, but it's no less interesting. Along with their selection of noodle dishes (several of which sounded tasty), they also have a solid selection of a few rice plates, appetizers, and sides as well! -- BEEF ROLL PANCAKE - Beef, Green Onions, Cilantro, and Hoisin Sauce...$12.80 Ehh...I wasn't high on this one, but it's definitely a "me" issue - there was so much fresh cilantro in this! Some of the slices of beef felt a bit dry as well, but I actually thought the pancake was great! The outside was slightly crispy yet the inside had a nice chew to it. -- LAMB SKEWERS - Lamb, Chili Powder, and Cumin Powder...$9.50 This was my favorite dish of the night! Each of the skewers had a fair amount of meat, the chunks of lamb were juicy with a good bit of char, and the seasoning had the perfect balance of cumin and chili powder. -- SPICY BEEF NOODLE SOUP with Chunks of Beef Shank, Kale, Pickled Vegetables, Cilantro, and Green Onions...$16.50 Not bad, but not as awesome as I had hoped for either. The knife cut noodles were cooked well, the slices of beef were moist, and I liked the kale, despite how it initially felt like an odd addition. As for the broth, it wasn't bad, but I wish it had been a bit more luscious and beefy. While I waffled back and forth between giving three or four stars for the food, it ended up being an easy call after factoring in service. For the most part, the workers were fine - they greeted us when we walked in and were generally pretty friendly. That being said, throughout our meal, it felt like we were being rushed out. Someone would come to take away each plate almost immediately after we would finish the last bite and were quick to hand us our bill and clear our table. It would be (somewhat) understandable if the restaurant had been busy, but the place was barely half full the entire time we were here. Considering how so many folks seem to like this place, I can't help but wonder if we might have had better luck trying their signature noodle soup dish. At the very least, a more relaxed experience (and less cilantro, for me) would've helped. Given that, I wouldn't mind coming back to give a couple of their other dishes, but in the meantime, THREE AND A HALF STARS rounded down for now feels about right.

I came here twice now! The first time was a gift I received from an unnie friend MK. She was celebrating the start of grad school for me, and covered for my meal. I ate so well MK. The second time was also a gift from my mom in celebration of getting through my first few weeks of medical school. This place is wonderful to grab spicy beef noodle soup. The signature dishes are Signature for a reason which is why I give a 10/10 for all of the dishes we ordered thus far: 1) Spring Cold Noodle with Round Noodles 2) Spicy Beef Noodle/Rice Noodle Soup 3) Beef Roll Pancake 4) Signature Beef Noodle/Rice Noodle Soup A bowl and a beef roll pancake is enough to split between two people! If you are going with a friend and you both wanted to try a little bit of both. Service was quick and personable. There were some servers who could have slowed down and checked in with us more regularly. The interior is beautifully arranged. You can see the noodles being made in the open! We loved the food, and have been blessed by them. God bless you all!

I came here with my dear friend on a Saturday evening for a quick dinner - the space was big with a lot of tables and were seated very quickly. We ordered the beef noodle soup and beef roll pancake to share and it was a LOT of food for two people - we were both only able to eat one roll each and took the rest home, so it was great value. The flavors were very good and I think the pancake stood out to me the most, so I would come back for this specifically. Thank you to the attentiveness of the servers as well!

Food: 4/5 I ordered their signature beef noodle soup and it was alright, I was expecting the broth to be more flavorful. The knife cut noodle was good, but slightly overcooked. The beef roll was delicious, loved the crunchy texture on the wrap and sweet and savory sauce wrapped in the beef. Service: 5/5 Waiters are attentive and quick with service. Ambiance: 5/5 Nice And clean, very accommodating with our party of nine.

The curry was seasoned well, semi thick consistency, with a hint of spice. 2) Vietnamese Shaken Beef (one w/ garlic noodles & one w/ rice) - I personally prefer the shaken beef at Vox. For whatever reason, the beef seemed to be overcooked bc it was very chewy. The vegetables tasted as expected, and the red rice was really delicious. The garlic noodles were good. 3) Lemongrass Tofu - The tofu was cooked well and seasoned deliciously. 4) 5-Spice Roasted Chicken - Exactly what the description says. The roasted chicken was huge. We weren't sure exactly what it was seasoned with, but we all devoured it. Yum! 5) Lychee Milk Punch - It's not dinner without alcohol. I thought it was pretty strong with the rum & whiskey. It's more on the sweeter end from the lychee & pineapple. The foam wasn't too thick, and it paired well with the drink. Pricing: These are elevated prices. We'll definitely be back for dinner, and we can't wait to try their brunch. Highly recommend joining the Kei Rewards!

Then I realized it was a DJ spinning vinyls with foreign music from the 1950's with that scratchy vintage sound on full blast (think shrill trumpets and shrill voices.) Now don't get me wrong, the music was wonderful and very unique ( again, a lot of foreign songs) with a few I even knew...my husband and I loved most of the songs that were played. HOWEVER not when it's so loud that we can't even hear our own thoughts! I felt annoyed within the first 5 minutes of being seated when my family and I had to keep repeating ourselves, and my husband even went to check the rest of the place to see if it was any quieter anywhere else, but it was blaring music everywhere. OMG the hangar steak skewers, pork belly skewers, iberico pork secreto steak, little gem salad, and their bread with goatmilk -butter were my faves! We also had the short ribs and the pork fried rice with prawns but they were mid...nothing to write home about. This would've been a great place to come have a drink at the bar for happy hour or even late at night on a weekend since they open until 1am on thursday, friday, saturday... but don't come for dinner unless you bring earplugs and learn sign language or know how to read lips because there will be no conversations over dinner unless it's just to the person sitting next to you. Even so, I noticed the young couple next to us looking very annoyed-- they got up and left after quickly finishing up their one cocktail while the speakers blared out an instrumental piece of a girl moaning the whole time until she climaxed. Heck---I'll have whatever SHE'S having lol So plz keep the music down several notches until after 10pm, and let the rest of us enjoy our dinner so that we can sing praises on how delicious everything was. Until you do, I think I'll cross this place off my list for now and revisit again sometime in the FAR future.

The finger foods was Asian‑inspired, with flavors like black sesame, curry, and other creative twists that made each bite feel unique. Every piece was thoughtfully made, rich, and decadent without feeling repetitive, and the presentation was beautiful across the board. It definitely felt like a more elevated, modern take on afternoon tea. The tea itself, however, fell a bit short for me. I ordered a non‑caffeinated chrysanthemum tea, which unfortunately didn't have much depth or flavor. My friend's Darjeeling was better, but still not as rich or complex as I've had elsewhere. Given how strong the Asian inspiration is in the food, it would've been nice to see more thoughtful decaf tea options in that same direction, like decaf sencha, barley tea, or kuromamecha, to better match the concept. Price: The afternoon tea service is prix fixe at around $45 per person, which includes a curated set of savory bites, desserts, and a pot of tea. For the quality and creativity of the food, the price feels pretty reasonable compared to other OC tea services, though the tea itself didn't quite meet the same level as the food. Ambiance: The space is bright, warm, and inviting, with a nice amount of natural sunlight coming in that makes it feel cozy rather than stuffy. There are subtle Asian design elements woven into the décor, giving it a modern, slightly upscale feel without being overly formal. It's a great spot to catch up with friends and linger over tea. Service: Service was good, friendly, welcoming, and attentive without being overbearing. Even during a busy service, staff remained kind and approachable, which added to the overall relaxed vibe. Parking: Parking can take a bit of effort. Since it's located on a busy street in Orange, you may need to circle around the roundabout or park a little farther away and walk over. Not impossible, but definitely something to plan for, especially on weekends.

I stopped by for an early dinner on my way back to San Diego last weekend. My friend and I each got the bulgogi garlic noodles (I added the egg but for $2.50 not sure it added a lot of flavor or value to the dish), shared the wings and an order fries. I also ordered a Vietnamese coffee on the cashier's recommendation--good suggestion, nice flavor without an overpowering amount of sugar. The wings were fantastic. Fries were fair, good portions and flavorful. I liked the noodles but weren't blown away. Everything was very soft, not a lot of textural change. The portion was generous with lots of bulgogi beef. The service was great--friendly and responsive. They have a small lot which was fine at 530pm on Sunday but probably problematic at lunch or normal dinner hours. My one complain was dirty dining room. Maybe it was just after the lunch rush, but the tables and floor could have used some wiping and the trash cans were full. Nice easy meal stop off the freeway at Orange.

While it is on the pricier side, the quality of the food and overall experience make it absolutely worth it, especially if you're in the Irvine area. We've been here multiple times, and each visit has been consistently great. During our most recent visit, we had a server named Adam who was incredibly accommodating and attentive. He already knew exactly what we needed, including bringing shareable bowls for our pho without us even having to ask. That level of service really made the experience even more enjoyable.

Even though we had a reservation, we still waited about 10-15 minutes before we were seated. Our server didn't stop by for the longest time. A hostess greeted us and brought water and did give us a heads up that our server was running behind but we ordered and received an appetizer before we even got to order drinks. The food was an interesting take on Vietnamese cuisine. The milk bread app was delicious - light, fluffy, with nice crispy edges and a soft honey butter on the side. The Vietnamese crepe had crisp edges but was packed with pretty much only bean sprouts and 4 pieces of shrimp and overall lacked flavor. I love this dish and it usually has so many pickled veggies and flavor but this take on it fell a bit flat. The drinks were really good though. My friend got the Tropic Like It's Hot and it was refreshing and yummy. Overall it felt like something was off and it was really noticeable. Either our server was overworked or the restaurant was understaffed or both but it didn't make for the best experience.
