I have ordered a couple of times from Noodle Kitchen. I have not dined in yet to know about that service, but both times I have picked up my order I was graciously greeted and it was ready to go. I have had the fried beef noodles, crispy duck bao and crispy cheese wontons. All were absolutely delicious . The beef noodles were flavorful, had lots of beef and great mix of veggies. The crispy duck bao had a soft, fresh bun with a light crisp and amazing juicy chopped duck filling. The wontons were larger than I expected, freshly crispy with a nice light cream cheese filling. Definitely my go to Chinese restaurant without hesitation. read more

I really wanted to like restaurant, so I went back to try their noodles. We ordered the Crispy Peking Duck Bao as an appetizer, I had the Lan Zhou Beef Noodle Soup, and my companion ordered the General Two's Chicken that he had on our first visit. I also ordered hot Chrysanthemum Tea. My companion's food came out first- at least 15 mins before the appetizer or my entree, leaving me to sit awkwardly. The Boa was good - not a lot of duck though. My noodle soup was incredibly bland and so was the hot tea, which basically tasted like slightly flavored warm water. I won't order tea here again. The best part about this second visit was our waiter. He was very helpful, giving suggestions and offering to strengthen the tea. Unfortunately, nothing helped. read more

Delish! Very unique and craveable flavors. We went with all the yelp faves - pork long bao (soup dumplings), half duck, hot oil spill noodles, angry green beans and chicken fried rice. I couldn't stop eating the oil spill noodles or green beans. Lots of chili oil on both - guess that's my crave. The duck was good & scratched an itch that kept us from driving to Chinatown to itch. We'll be back for sure! read more

A good place in an unassuming strip mall. The Peking Duck bao were new to us. They were good, but not the crispy skin parts we thought we were getting. Soup noodles and pan fried dumplings were a tad heavy on the five spice powder. Steamed cha siu bao were good. Service was fast. read more

Food was hot, fresh and authentic! It was packed with a large lunch crowd and yet service was still excellent. What a great new spot! Will be back for sure. read more

Noodle Kitchen - Chicken Fried Noodle - Chinese Near Me - Spring, Texas

Mixed experience with this place on a take out order. Let's talk about the positives first. The food is very good. Excellent xiao long bao. One of the better ones I've had in the US. The soup in the dumpling is flavorful and there a lot of it. The dumpling itself, while not paper thin, is tender and not too thick. The hand pulled noodles and pork bao were excellent as well. The only non-traditional dish we got was the hot & sour soup, which was just so-so. For a service standpoint, they have some kinks to work out. I hope they do, since the food is definitely worth it. I placed my order online and showed up when I was told it would be ready. They told me it would be another 10 minutes. 20 minutes later, they came out and told me that they were out of two of the items (technically two orders of the same item) I ordered and wouldn't be able to fill them. Since I had paid, they would refund me. Unfortunately, they refunded only half (for one of the orders). I called to try to resolve and unfortunately the person was unable to help on the phone. In the end, I was told to please call back since they couldn't help me now. read more

Noodle Kitchen is having their grand opening. Their seemed to be a slight problem with staffing when we were there. The place was full. Service was slow but courteous. Ah the troubles with opening a new restaurant. However, the food was fantastic! Spring rolls, soup dumplings, hot oil noodles, Kung Pao chicken-all perfectly cooked and delicious. The house made noodles were delightful. We will return. Suggestions: staff up (dishwasher & bussing personnel); eliminate the need for plastic dinnerware (ran out of clean standard utensils); provide serving spoons with dishes; do away with styrofoam cups or provide larger size; and provide larger plates. Hope to make this one of our new neighborhood favorites. read more

Don't let the name fool you. They do much more than just noodles. Ex Ellendale soup dumplings, bao, and egg rolls.

The service was a 4/5. I am not really a person bothered by quality of service as long as the food is good and the service is not absolutely trash. They met the bare minimum and a little bit more in my opinion. The food was hit or miss. I got the beef soup that everyone was talking about and that was good. The bao dumplings were good but the filling was not as strong seasoning wise, although this was my first time having steamed bun dumplings so my expectations might have been unreasonably high. I got the shrimp fried rice and it was alright. The rice was kind of dry and the taste was not the same quality as the other Chinese places I went to. The shrimp was cooked really well though it was mainly the rice itself that was the issue for me. The ambiance was chill I was able to have a comfortable conversation without worries while I was there and the entire experience was sort of homey. Overall I probably would not go inside again since I am not a people person but I would order from here again since I really like the soup and dumplings. read more

Love this place. They had me at hand pulled noodles! That elevates the noodle dishes with their perfect mouth feel and chew!

We were real excited to try this place out after reading reviews from multiple sources, but we we completely underwhelmed. The service was great, but that's really about all there was to brag about. We ordered the Duck Bao. There was nothing but onion in it. No duck. My wife ordered the Tankatsu and it was like no other we had before. It was like they put milk in the broth and it was barely edible. Everything else we ordered was just okay at best. I don't know, maybe we caught them on a bad day, but we were sadly disappointed.... read more

My husband and I really enjoyed everything we ordered. Would recommend coming out and trying the chicken soup dumplings and Peking duck bao! read more

Went here on a Saturday night and service was pretty slow, although understandable given the shortage of staffing. Pork Soup Dumplings (4/5): probably best thing we ordered out of everything. Juicy filling with the perfect amount of bite in the wrapper. Wish they provided fresh ginger to accompany the sauce though. Oil Spilled Noodles (2/5): not much flavor besides soy sauce. Noodles were over cooked and looked prepackaged. Not sure why cabbage, broccoli, and random bits of green pepper were added. Not the traditional Shanxi noodle dish I thought I was ordering. Pan fried Pork Dumplings (2/5): again, very soy sauce forward to make up for the lack of flavor in the filling. Unnecessarily oily as well. The waiter also mistook our order and thought we ordered the baos. They were accommodating in fixing our order. Duck bao buns (1/5): very little duck meat, mostly skin wrapped inside a pan-fried bun. Again, necessarily oily and lacked flavor. Was hoping for crispier bun and some garnishing to break up oiliness. Chinese Hamburger (1/5): this was similar to the duck bao buns, except the filling was pork belly. Traditionally, this dish can be accompanied with some sliced cucumbers, cilantro, green onions to enhance the flavor. The one we ordered was just meat inside a baked bun. Overall, the food wasn't too bad, but just lacked effort in flavor. For the price we paid, I'd probably make the drive to Bellaire Chinatown instead. read more

We are new to the area and decided to try this place tonight. We ordered the pork soup dumplings, mongolian beef and general tsos!!! All were sooo gooood! We will definitely be ordering from here again!!! read more

It's a winning trifecta. The ambiance, the food and the service are the best. 199% recommend

I only ordered the wonton soup and the dumplings were really overcooked. The broth flavor was good though. Also, their customer service isn't that great. I stood at the front which was empty to pick up my to go order during lunch. There was no one there and I had to wait about 5-7 minutes before anyone came out of the back to greet me. read more

Food, not bad, service hit and miss, Ambiance meh, price, high like most everywhere. For the Woodlands area it's different, worth checking out. read more

My husband had heard about this place repeatedly so we decided to try it. We had the Chinese hamburger, Peking duck bao, tonkatsu ramen and beef and shrimp chow mein. While the hamburger and chow mein were tasty, the rest was really lacking. The Peking duck bao was nothing but onion, and the ramen was inedible. The liquid part was white like milk had been added to it. It literally tasted like nothing but milk. They saw that I only ate the meat out of the ramen and didn't ask if there was something wrong or anything. I guess I should have spoken up but they didn't seem interested in us even being there. Needless to say, we won't go back. read more

Excellent and a total surprise in this part of town. The flavors of the beef noodle soup hit all the authentic Lanzhou notes. We also got the scallion pancake as well as the soup dumplings. Easily among the best I've had in Houston. They weren't busy on a Sunday afternoon. Our waiter said business slowed when they opened the Woodlands location. We will be back! read more

scallion pancakes were so great. the soup dumplings were as good as I hoped!! You know the food is going to be good when Chinese people were majority of people here. friendly staff. I'll be back. read more

This is hard... I absolutely love this place. That said, last night was so disappointing. The quality was good, however the food temperature was not right. Not cold but not hot, basically... warm ish. Put it this way, I could eat a soup dumpling instantly when brought to the table and not burn my mouth. I'm unfortunately going to have to take a break from them. Quality is slipping and i hope they figure it out as if not.. the struggle will ensue for them to keep it going! read more

It's actually the best soup dumplings I've ever had in Houston. So fresh and comes out piping hot just how I like it.

Food was so good!!! We ordered chicken soup dumplings and chocolate bao. Both were freshly cooked and absolutely delicious! The decor was so cute too and service was quick. Definitely would recommend this place if you're in the Spring area read more

The food and service is wonderful, this is my go-to place. Never had anything I didn't like here.

Wow! Everything was so tasty! The duck was amazing. I can't wait to be back and try some noodle dishes next time!!

Worst ever. Not fresh, soup not even hot. Noodle is precooked. Bad experience. Not recommended

The location does not have a "curb appeal" and the inside is simple. However, the food was so scrumptious! We came specifically looking for the soup dumplings. Everything we ordered was a hit and we are looking forward to our next visit. All ingredients were fresh and the service is friendly. read more

It's hard to find a place that serves soup dumplings around north of Houston. I'm this place has great soup dumplings and scallion pancakes. The staff were so mannered and worked quickly. The ambiance is calm but I can imagine it getting pretty loud on busier days as families dine in. I had a great experience. The only con that cause it to miss 1 star is that I've tried better soup dumplings and restaurants in Houston. Other than that, this is good to try if you don't feel like driving an hour to Bellaire. read more

Really, really good food. The hand cut noodles are very good. I tried my wife's Chicken chow mein and couldn't resist ordering on it on our second visit and i have never been a fan of chow mein. Their chow mein won me over. Its the best. The red pepper sauce is great. read more

I tried four dishes on my visit to noodle kitchen. Sautéed Cabbage, Peking Duck Bao, Hot Oil Spill Noodle and Crispy Spicy Fish Fillet. I've had the Oil Spill Noodle and Crispy Spicy Fish at various restaurants many times and Noodle Kitchen totally missed the mark. The quality of the noodle in the Oil Spill was good but the dish itself greatly lacked the spicy robust flavors that make the dish signature. Almost half of the noodle dish was just bean sprouts and that was a little odd. The Crispy Spicy Fish was the most disappointing of the four plates. The fish was so soggy with oil and had no spice. The sautéed cabbage was alright, the flavor was pretty good and the cabbage was just crispy enough. And the Duck Bao didn't have the much meat in it and was soggy on the inside. The service was great, the servers were super nice, and the food was plated nicely. I don't think I would go back again. read more

We were so blissed out after our meal- literally high on that red oil. This is truly some of the best comfort food we've ever had. Red Oil Spill Noodles were the superstars - loved the texture and crispness of all those veggies against the deliciously rich noodles. We also tried the pork and scallion potstickers- oily, salty, chewy, tasty perfection! We can't wait to come back! read more

Good place around the Woodlands without having to drive to Bellaire for a dim sum fix. Spicy beef soup was very good.

The black ice tea tasted poor because the quality of the tap water used. Cost: $2.99. The spring rolls (chicken) we had as our appetizer were unremarkable, 2 pcs cost $4.25. Which they brought out after the main dish. The Peking duck I had was cold and the texture of the skin was soft, not crispy at all. 1 order cost: $48.58. The only positive of this dish was the duck bone soup. The Panfried Beef Bao and beef dumplings were only good, but not excellent, cost 5 pcs $11.98 and 6 pcs $9.98. My Husband had the General Tao's Chicken was good, cost $13.98. With the hand pulled noodles it was not a good pairing. The noodles were an additional $4.50. May have been an off night because they were busy, but it was not a good first impression, and it is our last. read more
