I had been getting texts for about a week from Noodle Express in Hayden, Idaho, saying that "Noodle Express now offers delivery. Click this link to order." Last night I did just that and was directed to the Noodle Express website, which I ordered from and specified delivery. The website stated that delivery is provided by Door Dash. Waited an hour and food never came so I called the Noodle Express location where I had placed the order and asked about my food. The boy answering the phone said they had a Door Dash he thought about twenty minutes earlier, but he didn't know if that was my order. I live at most 10 minutes from this restaurant. He said there was nothing he could do because they don't have any information on the people who pick up orders and sometimes the drivers steal the food. I asked for a refund and he said they can't do that and it's Door Dashes problem so I should call them. Admittedly, I was upset and at that point spoke rudely to him so he pulled the phone away and I could hear him say to someone else "Can you talk to her? She's yelling at me." At that point a girl came on and said can I help you? I told her I wanted a refund and she also told me to call Door Dash. I told her I would never come back to her restaurant and hung up. I contacted Door Dash and at least their representative was apologetic, he said since I had ordered though the restaurant website the restaurant needs to refund me, which makes total sense. NOODLE EXPRESS Sent me texts saying NOODLE EXPRESS now offers delivery. I ordered off the NOODLE EXPRESS website. I will be disputing this charge with my card, but it makes me sad that this simple thing was not handled better and I have lost a restaurant I enjoyed. read more

Originally i was very happy with this place but it seems like lately they have been slacking off. The last three times they have shorted me on things in my order and/or just ignored my customization requests at all. I have gotten home just to open my order and find that things were missing or my food was wrong multiple times now. Very dissatisfied multiple times in the last few months with this place and to be completely honest I don't think I will spend my money here anymore. Disappointing as a regular customer. Just not willing to spend my money on a company that obviously doesn't care about their customers or the product they are putting out. read more

Service was fine but the meal was average. Hardly any meat in the rice bowl, heck I've had much better at the Seattle Airport. The 80's style red dinerplastic glasses sure classed up the place too. May go back and try a noodle bowl but they need to add more protein to the dishes. read more

Ate here twice. First I had the Thai style chicken rice bowl-- it tasted like someone threw coleslaw and rice and was very skimpy on the chicken. The second time I eat here I had the beef yucky soba. It was the worst beef Yakisoba I've had (I prefer Safeway is Chinese food over this place). I ordered double beef to make my bill about $14 for one Yaki soba plate. To say the least, there was only about 6-7 thin pieces of beef in my bowl. The reason for the one star is poor quality food and high prices. read more

First, it was my fault for thinking this was Noodles & Company. My husband came home with this food tonight for our anniversary we were sharing with our little kids. I placed my order over the phone, I go in 20 minutes later when they said it'd be ready. They told me they never got my order, told me I called the wrong store which I showed they I didn't. I had the Thai spicy curry shrimp noodle bowl it was the bomb . Open atmosphere very friendly staff and very clean. The place has plenty of seating, even though they were very busy. 4/13/2020 A one star is not even worthy of this location after what I witnessed and experienced. First of all, this is not a Covid issue, but a standard issue of protocol in proper food handling. My husband and I went to grab a quick bite to eat as we were needing to run a couple of errands as we take the stay at home mandate seriously. It does not appear that is of any importance at this location. As my husband was placing his order I noticed one person in the back who was also the manager(as someone that has been in leadership positions in the customer/patient service industry of over 30 years I use the term manager loosely)I observed this person named Cody literally grab frozen rolls from a freezer...WITHOUT GLOVES...and throw them in the fryer. When I mentioned that to the very rude Ashley, a person that has no business as the face of any business reply with, "Well he just washed his hands and the heat will kill anything anyway" WHAT?! I responded by telling this idiot that was completely unacceptable and her response..."Well if it's such a problem then you shouldn't be out" WHAT??!! At that time she very rudely turned to this other person and said with what I could tell was attitude that he put on gloves. WHAT??!! Now with all my years of experience I should have known that people like those two unfortunates running that store will only ever understand mediocrity and it's a moot point. At that point, things with this moron began to escalate as she suddenly became concerned with public safety and asked that I stay away from the door with a very snarky demeanor. Now no one is practicing safe distance like I am so I didn't need her to tell me that I needed to stay in the corner for any other customers that come in. I told her I did not need her sudden concern for safety and that when and if someone came in the door I would move. Yeah, that's the problem right? Not the fact that YOU PEOPLE DO NOT WEAR GLOVES WHILE PREPARING FOOD! I had refused to order once I witnessed that despicable act and told my husband that I wasn't comfortable with him ordering but he is diabetic and needed to eat something. The double chicken came out and had the amount of chicken on a normal teriyaki bowl at any average joint, the other one had MAYBE 4 pieces of chicken on it. The rice was old and dry. This spot is horrible, I ordered a teriyaki chicken rice bowl and half of it came with nasty vegetables! I didn't ask for vegetables, and it didn't say comes with veggies, the rice was over cooked chicken was super dry and noodles were over cooked and my chicken and noodle bowl was the same dried and over cooked pot stickers weren't even cooked raw had to put them in a frying pan to cook them fully, serving raw and over and under cooked food nasty! So the service was ok. While we did show up close to closing and the person was nice and did take care of she seemed like thought we were more a bother then valued customers they also felt more interested in talking to co-workers then listening and answering our questions. The food was ok I got the Sweet and Sour chicken on rice there was an add on of some vetables but the chicken and sauced seemed more pre packaged and thrown together. I literally cannot believe how amazing the service was! These people went above and beyond to make sure I had everything EXACTLY the way I wanted it! (I have allergies and can't have certain things) All of the staff were very friendly, which is rare to find these days! I was greeted as I walked in the door. They had a line but service was still quick and efficient! I get worried sometimes because of my food allergies, that I'll go somewhere and people won't be cautious of cross-contamination. I love Noodle express but our food last night was nothing to get excited about. 2 of us ordered Orange chicken rice bowls and 4 of us had chicken noodle bowls, 3 of the Noodle bowls had plenty of flavor and sauce and 1 had no sauce at all and our veggies were not cooked enough at all. The Orange chicken was super yummy but there was not enough of it compared to how much rice their was. The Asian slaw was the best part of this meal! We live close by so it is convenient for us to pop-in when we want something fast, but not as unhealthy as fast food. Their meat to rice/slaw to price portion is rather disappointing. The rice portion is quite generous, but their meat portion is tiny....maybe 3 oz? I usually order my entree half rice and half slaw so that I can get a decent portion of slaw; otherwise, the portion is tiny as well. Went there on a whim and it was still just as I remember it. I got the chicken osaka bowl and while the osaka sauce was just as great as ever their meat to rice to price ratio was way off. I got a giant bowl of rice with a cucumber slaw on the side and a little bit of meat for almost $9. Quick, OK food. We ordered a few teriyaki rice bowls with chicken, one with noodles, and a sweet Thai curry with shrimp bowl. The teriyaki was salty, and tasted like it had too much soy in it.
