This was a tough call. I would say between a three and four. Coming from California they are a lot more organized. Our server never said her name but at least she got the order straight. There were nine of us. I had the shrimp. It was pretty good. I asked for miso soup, but I got a different soup. Everybody got vegetables and either fried rice or steamed rice. I had a couple of glasses of plum wine and they were big glasses compared to a lot of places. Couple of people had beer most everybody else had like sodas or water. We all had a pretty good time. We were there about two hours and then they were asking us to leave. I guess another big party was coming in as they were quite a few that night. We got here right at open since they don't take reservations. The restaurant smelled great already and there was a line of people waiting to be seated. It went very quickly and we were seated at a table in one of the side rooms. The restaurant was very clean and decorated nicely. I think they must have forgotten about us being in the side room because no one came to take our drink order so after about 15-20 minutes of waiting we finally went and asked the hostess. She said someone would be there and after about 5 more minutes someone finally came in. After that everything went smoothly. The food was delicious and they have a nice variety of options including many non-seafood and non-teppanyaki dishes if you don't want to sit at a teppanyaki table. read more

We were craving Sushi and were in the area, so this was our stop. We had been here once before, but it had been a long time. The hostess let us know it would be about 10 minutes to be seated, which was fine. The booths were full, the tepenyaki tables were busy, and they were handling lots of to go orders. Once we were seated, our waitress came to the booth pretty quickly. We ordered Sake, Gyoza appetizers, and 3 rolls. The Sake and Gyoza came out fairly quickly, but it was a bit of a wait for the rolls. They only have 2 sushi chefs and they were working as quickly as they could. The waitress offered us free soup for our patience. She said it had been a chaotic night - some food fell in the sushi oven and burned, the exhaust fans weren't working well ( it was smoky in there twice), and they ran out of tuna. She was till smiling while working and made our dining experience more pleasurable. The Gyoza were perfectly cooked - crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The sauce has a nice savory and tart flavor that is a perfect balance with the Gyoza. All 3 rolls were spot on. The Haegi has yellow cucumber and a little heat. The Philly Roll has salmon and cream cheeses with a sauce on top. Our favorite was the Mexican Roll with crab on the inside with avocado on the with a sweet and spicy drizzle on top. We should have passed on the soups as we were stuffed. The only issue is the floors need to be mopped. Everyone's shoes were squeaking due to the stickiness of the floors. being from Southern California I've had my share of teppan places. This place is legit. I've been to this location a half dozen times snd it's always clean and organized. Even the bathroom toilet is clean. I appreciate that because I'm constantly taking my little ones to use the bathroom. This has been the most reasonable Teppan places I've been to. The food portions are also generous. I have a good appetite and I struggle to finish my food. The entertainment aspect is great too. The cooks are funny and very entertaining. The rest of the staff had always been friendly as well. Now to the food... in my opinion, teppan places are generally bland to me. The food is always cooked on the spot so they usually tend to lack flavor. fukkis food has always been tasty. I literally have no complaints. WOW! ouch in my wallet and my SOUL! this place was more than disappointing. I paid $70 for 2 meals and a soup and spring rolls. Yakisoba noodles were drenched in a sauce. The expectation was that we could eat out meals , sadly we ended up throwing them out. I was told there was no pepper in it and my mouth had a reaction to it so they were dishonest when I asked ahead. ( i also witnessed a waitress being asked about added an extra tip during pick up) it was just extremely distasteful in more than one way. I know a 1 star is harsh but this is how we felt we were treated- harshly. First we were seated for lunch at the teppan grill by a nice young lady. She gave us lunch menus and all was good. We ordered from the lunch menu. Then after dropping off our salads and drinks she said "I'm sorry we don't serve lunch at the grill, only dinner so your bill will be a little bit higher". Well , no it would actually be double the price. So we said it's ok we'll just pay for our beverages and go. She ended up saying they'll honor the lunch prices because she messed up. Ok good, as it should be. Well when the chef came out to cook he mentioned "we don't make lunch menu on grill" about 15 times. Then he cooked our food so fast that the vegetables we still hard! Hayden's newest sushi/hibachi joint is overpriced for average food. What it has going for it: - New building so everything is clean - Attentive staff - Plenty of parking What it has going against it: - Overpriced - Sushi wasn't anything special, little on the bland side So being new we decided to try this place. I ordered my usual Philadelphia roll (3 - I was a hungry fella) and the wifey got her Spicy Tuna rolls. We didn't try the hibachi yet. Sushi wasn't anything special. When we got the bill... they charged $12 for each Phily roll.... are the joking? It's not like it was a bigger than normal roll either. Officially the most I have paid for Phily roll anywhere. Great curb appeal, nice looking interior however our experience was terrible today. The waitress was awkward, she told us, very quietly, after she took our order that tips were not divided equally between the cook and the waitresses basically telling us we should tip her extra on the side. Then the cook comes out to the table, he was very awkward, seems kind of like it was his first day of work furlough from the local county jail who told terrible jokes the whole time and complained about how much he made per hour there. He was so busy making the terrible jokes he was cooking the food wrong, not as ordered, used NO salt or pepper, just butter. Lots of butter as he joked and provided terrible service. We did however learn all about his earlier years and his previous jobs, growing up in Virginia, his broke down car, his expensive uber rides to and from work and his weird random family dynamics all while were being held captive to endure his terrible inappropriate jokes. Once he was done making our food wrong he left the table and awkwardly hid and was watched us all eat from behind a short wall. Super weird. I would give this restaurant a zero if at all possible. Four of us went for an early dinner yesterday, October 16th., with reservations. First I asked if we could sit at a different hibachi section and was told no because there was only one chef working. They should tell you that when you called in to make your reservations. We placed a double order of pot stickers and they were not served yet by the time the fried rice was on our plates. I had to ask the waitress, Tracy, who is also the manager, acted like they were still being cooked but yet both orders were brought to us right after I asked. The hibachi chef burnt the eggs, the rice, the shrimp and the vegetables, they were all charcoaled and the oil was so hot that the smoke surrounded us. The lobster tails combined were a total of maybe three quarters of a cup. The sirloin, four steaks, were divided between us and the people sitting with us. They were the only items not burnt. The charge was over $200 and was so overpriced and definitely not worth the cost. So many restaurants are overcharging and serving bad food and forgetting items and making excuses for all of their bad service. You just wouldn't expect it from a so called higher brand of restaurant. I called and left a message for Tracy, that's how I found out she was the waitress and is the manger. She called me back and said that I should have said something yesterday and the problem could have been resolved. We were so frustrated we just wanted to leave. She then offered us a $20 gift card! What! I couldn't believe that. I told her no thank you and we would not be back. The hostess, Ingrid, said that there were already two other calls about the same thing. read more

Great food, terrible service. We arrived early to secure our 630p reservation to allow the friends we were meeting time to get their baby out of the car. The front desk girl said she could seat us in a few minutes. Our friends come in at 642 and the waitress tells us we lost our table because they have a ten minute rule. Would have been nice to know ahead of time, especially since our friends were literally in the parking lot hoping we could get the high chair set up before they came in. They also told us that there was an 18-person party that came in so they needed the extra table. Sounds to us like we would have loss the table regardless so blaming us for a rule that we were unaware of and would have abided by was simply an excuse for a lack of transparency and communication. One woman working offered a free appetizer for the inconvenience. Next, we got to our table. There's three menus on the table, and we had to ask for our fourth... Somehow we had to ask multiple waitresses to fill our drinks before anybody actually did it. Once we finished, we boxed our food. Then our check never came. Keep in mind we have a restless child at the table. After a wait, we went and requested our check from the front desk. We had to go back again and have it split correctly. Here's the cherry on top- our free appetizer was on the bill. We had to ask the front desk girl to take it off. She questioned that it was offered to us and had to confirm with the waitress and cook. Awkward again. Finally we can leave, and we got glared at by the gang of teen waitresses at the door. Unfortunate because we did nothing wrong- even left a nice tip. Bad experience Fuki- please fix your customer service. We are two young couples, one with a young kid. We don't go out much. We don't have much to spend. Huge let down to have our night out wind up with such poor treatment when we chose to support your local establishment during these hard times. read more
