The rolls were fantastic, but the "Fresh Roll" was BEYOND. Citrus and spice complimented the fish in the best way. I also ordered the Spicy Garlic edamame; firm, steamy, and packed with flavor. It's packed with the best of tuna, so I'd suggest requesting sauce on the side if possible--the roll speaks for itself. Highly recommend.

It's a tight space so it was definitely loud in there, but you can appreciate that the families are all enjoying their dinner. I thought to myself that the fact that it's this busy means they are doing a great job and the food makes them come back again. Our food was delicious and the fish were fresh. We were all satisfied with our meal. To add to that, I think the price for the items were very fair for its quality. I would love to come back again and try more from their menu!!

My two friends I…read morewas with each got rolls and loved the portions and flavor-- we've gone to several sushi places in Spokane and this is our favorite for the deliciousness of everything we tried. So, as far as the basics of quality ingredients and crafted sushi/sashimi, Sushi Blossom is tops. The reason for only four stars is the service. It was busy (we were there at 6 pm on a Tuesday, so also a great nod to how good it is here that the place was bustling on a weeknight). But our service was really pretty poor. I have no desire to put a young lady working as a server on blast, so I'll just say we waited an extra-long time, and felt as a table like we were irritating or inconveniencing our server, though we ordered right away, had no adjustments to what we ordered, and just sat waiting a long time patiently. We didn't complain, and thanked our server when she brought our food. But if I'd been with someone who didn't already love Sushi Blossom and was my guest, this would have felt pretty embarrassing, like we were doing something wrong by being customers. However, that was just one young lady on one night out of LOTS of dining experiences at Sushi Blossom, most of which have been excellent. So we'll happily be back, and put this one experience behind us. The food, once again, is so, so good. If you're looking for great sushi in Spokane, this is a fantastic place to try!

I think it's unnecessary to be entertained and checking on excessively, we dine at restaurants for the food, after all. Servers were here to help facilitate that process, and for many others. Our table were checked in on just enough times to make sure we had everything we needed and they were very polite:) One note on reservation: we went at lunch time on a weekend, I actually booked ahead of time. But once we arrived it seemed unnecessary as there were plenty of tables to choose from. If you forgot to make reservation, I say give it a try regardless

Once we sat down our server "Captain Jack" Asked what we would like to drink, I asked for hot green tea, my husband was asking what type of sake was unfiltered he pointed to the menu and said those are all unfiltered, I asked if he had any recommendations, he just stood there. I then asked if they do flights of sake, and he said no. This guy had the personality of a tabletop. After we got our drinks, the server asked what we would like, I asked if they slice their fish this or thick, because I prefer thin instead of huge chunks of fish. I mentioned to him I prefer thin, thinking he would tell his chef. We started with potstickers and when he brought it, he never offered side plates, I finally had to ask the hostess, and she kindly brought some over. then the server brought our sashimi dish and with a deep breath then described what type of fish was on the plate. first of all, I thought we were being punked. It was like I asked that server for huge chunks of fish. It was at least half an inch thick. So bad. The sashimi I ordered was supposed to come with a salad or miso soup, which wasn't brought. I finally had to flag him down even though there was only 2 other people in the whole place. Not once did he come to check on us to see how things were. This "Captain Jack" has no business being a server in any restaurant, it was by far the worst experience I have had ever in a restaurant. I would not recommend this place for sushi, and if your server happens to be "Captain Jack"...shit, Run!!

We were greeted and sat immediately with menus. We got hot tea while we looked over the menu. I noticed right away they had lots of options and many rolls to choose from--even the pickiest of eaters are sure to find something! For appetizers, we ordered edamame and Rock Shrimp. Edamame was perfectly salted and warm. The tempura fry on the Rock Shrimp was spot on. The yum yum sauce was decent but lacked flavor and season imo..may have been too much mayo in this batch but all good, because the shrimp was amazing all by itself. The tempura was nice and airy and the shrimp was still juicy and tender. For entrees, my roommate ordered the Chicken Katsu and his mom and I feasted on the Sushi & Sashimi for 2, which comes with 10 pieces of sushi, 15 pieces of sashimi, chef's special choice roll, and subbed our Tempura shrimp roll for a Rock n Roll. Man oh man! When the sushi arrived, it was presented beautifully and truly looked like art. Not to mention, it was SO DELICIOUS! Every piece and every bite was amazingly fresh. Hats off to the sushi chefs for doing a fabulous job. The ratio of fish to rice was on point! My roommate said the Chicken Katsu had a good cook to it and that he really liked the sauce it came with. Unfortunately I did not get our servers name and not so sure she had a name tag on. However, she was patient with us in regards to when we ordered and attentive throughout the meal. We came at a good time as the restaurant filled up by the time we left. I will definitely be back for more sashimi!
