House salad! Nice, Right?
Ken B.

Nice local joint. Friendly service and fast on sushi delivery. The salad was giant for a reasonable cost. $5 and I was taken a back. Nice surprise. Rolls: a twist on basic spicy salmon served with nice sauce and large chunks of fresh fish. Presented beautifully. The fresh roll was a specialty roll served with a spicy and delicious sauce. It had spicy tuna, shrimp tempura and topped with fresh salmon, tobiko, and a bit of lemon. Zesty and unique flavors. Glad I found this hidden Spokane gem.

Waikiki roll spicy tuna cucumber and pineapple topped with seared white fish and ginger ponzu

I have been wanting to try this place for years and since I can order through Uber Eats we decided to go in person and give it a try first. We were super happy with the whole experience. I ordered the Waikiki Roll, the Sushi Saute Roll and my husband had the Sushi and sashimi bento box. Everything was super fresh and we were served quickly. The service was nice and attentive. The restaurant was clean and I really like their light fixtures. We have tried many of the sushi places and the prices are very reasonable.

So far so good. Waitess is great, place looks clean and smells fresh.... Well thr chef didn't disappoint. The korean beef bulgogi bento was delicious. The pan fried gyoza and sauce was amazing as was th miso and eggflowet soups. The salad was a bit warm and the dressing tasty but clumpy from being too cool. Calif roll was average. I recommend. Sorry i a always forget the pic of the food heres the dining ro

I usually prefer the sushi places that have the conveyor so you can grab whatever you want, but my buddy insisted we give this place a try. I am glad I gave it a go. The service was fantastic. The staff are really on point and check on your table frequently. The price per portion was a great ratio. And the wait for food is practically non existent. 10 out of 10 I highly recommend.

Great lunch options. Nice Asian fusion. We ordered sushi rolls. The rolls were good but they were drenched in sauce. Way too much sauce. We'll try the curry or the peanut noodles next time.

Me and my sushi sakai (bottom left), Godzilla roll (right side), Gonzaga roll (center), and pretty woman roll, top left. SO YUMMY!

This is the best, freshest sushi in Spokane, hands down. The owners are a lovely Japanese couple…read morewho don't speak much English, but are the friendliest people you'll ever meet. They truck their fish in special from the Seattle dock and it shows. I like their teriyaki dishes as well, and the portions are so generous you practically have to be wheeled out the door after dinner. Highest recommendation.

We were probably the second or third customer there. As soon as we sat down we were given the menus to look over. The lady was very kind and gave us a lot of time to decide on what we wanted. It took 30 to 40 minutes for the food to come even though we only ordered three things. I noticed that when more people walked in, the lady would let them know that the wait would be 40 minutes, even though only three to four groups were seated inside. I think this communication is very appreciated and respectable. I think they had a lot of online/phone orders and were short-staffed... so they were very busy with that. The sushi rolls are very small and kind of disappointing. The taste was fine, nothing out of the ordinary per Spokane standards. The price, however, is on the higher end. For two people (3 rolls total), it cost about $25 per person. Even though it might have been an off day for them, I don't recommend this place for the sushi quality or cost.

Was really in the mood for a Japanese Curry and I started looking for places, and found that this…read moreramen joint was serving it. I decided to order the Pork Katsu curry with rice which came out to ~$20ish. The spice level was pretty mild, but the flavour was spot-on. It was cooked well, seasoned well, was not oversalted, and the balance of the dish was impeccable. The rice went great with the dish, as it should. Definitely not Coco's Curry, or anything you would expect to get in Japan, and no add-ons or anything special, so you cannot just add cutlets or potatoes like you normally would be able to at a Japanese Curry place. But this was obviously a ramen place so as long as the dish tastes good, there is nothing to complain about...which is exactly what I experienced. Service was very friendly, and ambiance was just what you would expect. I cannot comment on the ramen or any of the other dishes, but definitely endorse their Pork Katsu curry with rice if you are in the mood for a Japanese-style curry.

My husband and I ordered Spicy King Ramen and shared the kaarage chicken. The kaarage chicken came with a homemade Japanese mayo dipping sauce. The kaarage chicken was better than the ramen. The spicy king ramen was just that, spicy but no depth in flavor. There wasn't many toppings, green onions, ginger and eggs. I wish there was bamboo, bean sprouts, extra garlic, black garlic oil, veggies, etc. i wouldn't order the spicy king ramen again.

The food here is fantastic. My sashimi was fresh and beautiful, with big portions. My two friends I…read morewas with each got rolls and loved the portions and flavor-- we've gone to several sushi places in Spokane and this is our favorite for the deliciousness of everything we tried. So, as far as the basics of quality ingredients and crafted sushi/sashimi, Sushi Blossom is tops. The reason for only four stars is the service. It was busy (we were there at 6 pm on a Tuesday, so also a great nod to how good it is here that the place was bustling on a weeknight). But our service was really pretty poor. I have no desire to put a young lady working as a server on blast, so I'll just say we waited an extra-long time, and felt as a table like we were irritating or inconveniencing our server, though we ordered right away, had no adjustments to what we ordered, and just sat waiting a long time patiently. We didn't complain, and thanked our server when she brought our food. But if I'd been with someone who didn't already love Sushi Blossom and was my guest, this would have felt pretty embarrassing, like we were doing something wrong by being customers. However, that was just one young lady on one night out of LOTS of dining experiences at Sushi Blossom, most of which have been excellent. So we'll happily be back, and put this one experience behind us. The food, once again, is so, so good. If you're looking for great sushi in Spokane, this is a fantastic place to try!

The appetizers are awful. We got the combination, the fried tofu was bland and flavorless, the mini egg rolls tasted heavily of dirty fry oil, the gyoza were the best of bunch; crispy and good flavor. The sauces were bottle but again that doesn't matter much to me. The sesame balls were once served with salted coconut cream but now with a whipped cream and served on a bed of cabbage(?) I had the Washington sushi roll. It was beautiful and honestly I've yet to have sushi here that isn't beautiful. The fish was fresh and the masago was crisp and salty. The pickled ginger is spicy and tangy and pairs perfectly with the creamy imitation crab filling. The sweet and sour chicken was saucy and sticky but not very crunchy. It's good but not great. The tom kam gai is a sour soup with slight coconut undertones. It contained noodles, carrots, cilantro, a mushroom, and chicken. The noodles were okay but the chicken was very dry which a bit crazy cause it's in a soup(?) The Lion King roll was interesting. I found the cream cheese mixture to be too much and paired with that fishy taste of the cooked salmon was just okay. The egg flour soup was thick and tasted heavily of veg. I liked it but wouldn't order it again. The thai teas are so perfect! Balanced perfectly between herbal and cream! I will mention though the fish and veg are really fresh along. I will also mention the presentation of the meals were gorgeous!
