A selection of sushi rolls.
Jenna H.

Sushi by the pound? Say less. This is for the girls who are indecisive but also a little reckless. You can try everything without committing to a full roll that you might regret halfway through. It's basically a "choose your own adventure" but with sushi and zero consequences. Now these rolls themselves... Sushi bites that I basically have to unhinged my jaw for, I had to mentally prepare before each bite, in the best way. If you've ever wanted to feel personally challenged by your sushi, this is your place. And then... the ramen. I don't throw this word around lightly, but it's elite. Like, the kind of bowl that makes you pause mid-bite and reevaluate your life choices because you never knew ramen could be THIS good! The service? Always so friendly and FAST. Last these prices, honestly shocking in the best way. You leave full, happy, and not questioning your financial decisions which feels rare these days, especially when Sushi is involved. Final verdict: If you want variety, big portions, and a low-risk way to expand your sushi palate... run, don't walk.

Sushi by the pound. Pick one piece or several and then it gets weighed

Sushi - 2.8 Ramen - 4.1 Service - 4.0 friendly & appreciative This establishment hit my radar since the fam was hungry and it was walking distance from The Louie, Davenport Hotel. When we arrived on a Saturday night, it felt like there was no business at all (sad feeling). But we were greeted by smiling faces that explained how their sushi and pokè was ordered (by the pound). It was a breezy evening so we all order Ramen: beef bone, spicy tonkatsu and regular tonkatsu but my daughter did grab some sushi to try as well as some edamame. The concept of pre-made sushi especially hot/cooked version worried me since you can't tell how long any piece has been sitting under the warming lamps. So I'll stick to traditional style made to order sushi rolls or sashimi. As for the taste of the sushi, my daughter was not impressed. But the ramen did come out quicker than anticipated. The Beef Bone broth has a rich flavor and not too salty or oily either. The beef bone was cooked perfectly (the way I like it) when it still allowed you to eat the meat from the bone and not just falling off. The tonkatsu broth was salty, but maybe because I just had a bowl of beef bone broth, so will need to retry the Tonkatsu on the next visit. The servers kept checking on is throughout our time there. Oh BTW: the restaurant got super busy after we ordered our food with tons of walk-ins and online orders.

Ordered delivery from here. Hot soup on a chilly day hits the spot. The care behind how the to-go food is packaged is just absolutely wonderful. I had the beef rib ramen ($22.50) and a lychee green tea ($6.50). The noodles and broth are carefully separated, and they even remove the beef rib meat off the bone for reduced messiness, and everything comes packaged in a luxurious black and gold bag. The ramen was delicious - flavorful and rich, with a wonderful tender beef rib meat. Noodles were fresh and chewy. I definitely want to go in person next time.

Clean restaurant with low key urban vibe. Courteous cashier. Huge ramen portions! I had veggie ramen & had to share with my husband, there was so much. Prices were very reasonable! Parking is the challenge. Maybe call in a to go order, pick it up & eat elsewhere. We will go back for more.

Supa - New Favorite Spot! This was my first time at Supa, and I'm obsessed. The concept alone is amazing -- sushi and poke by the pound -- Everything was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. I love being able to pick exactly what I want and try a little bit of everything. I also had their authentic ramen, rich broth...that tasted like it came straight from Japan. Total comfort in a bowl. The staff here is unbelievably friendly. They made me feel welcome the second I walked in, explained the menu. You can tell they really care about their customers. I'll definitely be back!

Affordable, generous portions. Sushi was well made, stuffed with protein and appropriate amount of rice. Friendly service. Great ambience for lunch.

I was picking up and order for door dash right before they were closing and the manager offered me to try their sushi and take as much as I wanted so I grabbed one roll from each option . They were pretty good especially for it being the end of the day and I thought that was so nice of them , I love me some sushi definitely will have to go back ! There was two with jalapeños and those were my favorite

Sushi bar

Ok this place is awesome!! You get to try all these different varieties of sushi without buying a whole role of any of them. If you're someone who likes to try all the different varieties, this is a spot you will love. I personally like their raw sushi more than the deep fried ones. Very fairly priced and has all the goodies you need like soy sauce, wasabi, lots of sauce varieties, ginger in little packets. I would definitely recommend this place to sushi enthusiasts, I hear the ramen is great too but I'm more of a sushi girly.

Too much rice. Average. For the price not worth it. Wouldn't go back. Luckily parking was okay. Overpriced go to sushi.com

Excellent service, good food, and they know how to spice things up. I took my little brother here…read morefor dinner, and we were seated pretty much at once. The place looks like half a sushi bar and half a sports bar. They do have a full bar with some TVs that were playing whatever games happened to be on, but the volume was off so it didn't intrude into the dinner. For apps we got the fried dumplings and the edamame. I got the two spiciest rolls on the menu (The Bruce Lee and one other, can't remember the name) My bro got the banana roll. Yes. Bananas, cream cheese, avocado, dipped in tempura batter and fried. It was surprisingly good. My rolls were outstanding, with enough heat to make my head sweat. The appetizers were good, but not really noteworthy other than just being good. All in all, I like this place. Their menu for rolls is pretty large so you can find just about anything you want. If you're a drinker, they have pretty much anything you want there as well. Parking is somewhat sketchy as it's in a mall type area, but I didn't have any problem. I would absolutely come here again.

Izumi sushi is definitely a solid "b+". I'd rank it higher except for their succumbing to the…read moreunfortunate and increasingly common tendency to goop up otherwise fresh ingredients with heavy, sugary and syrupy sauces. This is a terrible trend in sushi places. Most evident in their roles. The nigiri is fine, so I have no complaints there. The restaurant itself is a little tight in space, but the staff is knowledgeable and attentive.
