In search of a place to work remotely while visiting the area, I landed on Panera as I can always trust their WiFi and relatively quiet dining area. I usually order a Caesar salad, but ironically I don't like their Caesar dressing, so I usually just eat it without dressing. Today I decided to try the Greek Salad with modifications (removed the olives and added croutons, pickled onions, papadew peppers and corn). I ordered the dressing on the side as I'm super picky when it comes to dressing. My salad was ready within 5 minutes and was very fresh and vibrant. The Greek dressing was actually really good, so I'm glad I have a new go-to here! read more

This place is unbelievable, I go through drive through and tell the lady I want the 4.99 deal got a cup of soup and half of sandwich, I get to window and its almost 14 bucks, so I ask and she says well u didn't order the right soup and sandwich, like are u kidding me she could have told me that at the window, so I ordered a cold brownie because the ones they leave out are always dried out and hard, she didn't get me one that was cold and well it was dried out and hard and not to mention that the bread on my sandwich was dried out to the point I could hear it when I tapped my finger on it, absolutely ridiculous seriously I go their at least once a week, obviously my mistake because every single time I go their, there is a problem with my food wow unavailable!!!! read more

The food is fresh and the service excellent! When things don't go our way, sometimes these young adults are forced to deal with rude adults. Quite possibly the drive through fields that even more. I was quite impressed with the grace and professionalism in which the manager, Emily, dealt with our specific food challenge. The stars aren't for a perfect experience. We are all human so that's not a practical expectation. It's a lot for these young adults to deal with. I also appreciated the way they seemed to work as a team. They seem to be dealing with a lot. This is the worst Panera I have ever been too. And I've been to many. The place is dirty. They only have one person at the register with 6 people in line. I've been here multiple times hoping it will improve. It doesn't. Then when you place an order it takes a long time to get food. Even just a toasted bagel. Skip this Panera. It's horrible. read more

Went to get a to go order and found a long huge hair at the bottom of my mac and cheese.... gross and inappropriate...this is second time i find hair in my dang food at this location.... i talked to manager that says ooops sorry i can replace your item" what is wrong with them why would i trust you guys again! How about tell your dang employees to wear their hair nets and keep their nasty hair out of our food......manager is the reason this place sucks she does not care how place is ran and lets employees probably even spit in our food..... never will eat at this location again. What has happened to this place? Last month we went for a bagel in the morning and they were out of bagels. We decided to try again today. I ordered a sausage and egg on a bagel. After a 15 minute wait in the drive through we got our food and drove away. I discovered that my bagel had no sausage and had mayonnaise. I will never give this horrendous place my money again. Good experiences only, at the Hayden location. I had an order screwed up twice at the Spokane Valley location, but when I asked for a replacement item from the Hayden store, the manager corrected the mistake and gave me a replacement meal complementary. I've always gone through the drive-through and my food has been correct 10 out of 10 times. I really enjoy the chicken. Baja salad bowl; great flavor. Ordered a you pick two and took it home-- a greek salad and french onion soup. The micro-salad filled a third of the "small" salad container, there were just a few pieces of lettuce, the lettuce was pale, and there was no feta on the salad. There was maybe a tablespoon of dressing in the container. The onion soup was missing its croutons. The price was definitely higher than the quality. This is my fourth try at this location over the last couple of years. So disappointed, as I once lived off of Panera in another state. This is a place kind of like the Starbucks of Sandwiches. Not a place that you get more or even your true worth money to product. Not like the pictures in the window. Got a turkey bacon avocado sandwich and got 1 slice of each. Fancy lettuce and a small pickle spear on the side and small bag of kettle chips for 17 dollars. My husband and I went to Panera Bread for lunch in Coeur d'alene, Idaho on Feb. 7, 2022. We ordered large Cobb salads. They were delicious. My husband wanted Bleu Cheese dressing for his salad but they didn't have it. He was disappointed, because they sure had a lot of other dressings but not his favorite. Out of 4 orders, one was wrong, another had unripened avocados, a third was a bowl of soup and just that - no bread or crackers, our fourth had a "toasted" cheese and the cheese was not melted and the bread barely browned. We had a smoothie that was not completely blended and tasted like Danimals Yogurt. Lemonade tasted like powered mix... nasty. Was so disappointed with everything that I asked for a refund on the order they got wrong. Glad I did. This location has been hit and miss for me. Drive thru - hit. Dine in - miss. When I drove thru everything was great - I love their smoothies, mac and cheese and paninis. But when I dined in with a friend they ran out of their autumn soup (on the first day of autumn, people.) and their mac and cheese was chunky, not creamy. So this place has a management issue. Went in there during the tail end of COVID. A lady walked in with her older mother who didn't have a mask on. She told them she had a medical condition and that she couldn't wear a mask. The employee bargain to argue with the lady. Its like this 20 something kid was getting off telling people what to do. He started getting really nasty at her and started cursing at her. Manager comes out (another 20 something) with a even bigger attitude. Look everyone has/had a different opinion about wearing masks during the pandemic, but these employees escalated the situation for no reason. Their go to line was "It's company policy". When the lady left the manager gave her a sarcastic wav and said bye. These stores need to managed by actual adults.... Oh my gosh why does this have such a low rating it is fabulous they're pastries chocolate croissants cookies bagels oh the Cherry bagel has six different types of Cherry in it I didn't even know that was a thing. The seasonal butternut squash soup is amazing with pumpkin seeds on it and the salads and the smoothies oh my gosh where to begin and then the sandwiches. The Fuji apple salad is the best thing I've ever eaten with the butternut squash soup paired. I love how many vegetarian options and even some vegan options they have also for those who don't eat meat or dairy. The girls that work there I say that because I've never encountered a man are always so nice. I also love all of their drink options and if you join the club you get drinks free they have watermelon mint lemonade things like that besides the boring soda. read more

Wildly inconsistent and inconvenient. When you're looking for fast food you don't wanna have to wait 45 minutes to get your food you could sit down and have a great meal for the same price as what it cost to go to Panera. They continue to complain about the fact that they cannot hire enough people at this particular location however this has been going on for the better part of two years. If you cannot use the drive-through and they've got a vehicle parked so that you have to walk inside do yourself a favor and don't go inside go someplace else. It will be a very long wait and you could get just as good of a meal at any sit down restaurant that's owned locally. I like Panera and I live in Idaho but I'll just start going to the location in the Spokane Valley where they don't have these issues. read more
