Bar style pizza pies with extremely thin crusts are the go to item here. There's parking in front of the restaurant. The interior is very casual with booth seating and a bar. Their burrata is fine, and comes with some toast. The bar pies are very thin. The toppings are decent quality and the crust is fairly thin. My only complaint is that the bottom crust is burned in places and they need to clean their oven. The taste is solid and it's a cool pizza spot that doesn't copy the other styles (Neapolitan and New York) that is in town.
Everything here was great. The mozzarella sticks were some of the best I've had and the salad was hittin. Only reason I wouldn't give 5 stars was that the pizza itself was much saltier than we were expecting. perhaps it was the use of capicola or guanciale that made it saltier. However overall I would come back to try more! Also the service here was quick and thy were very kind. Ambiance was very packed and it was busy evening so it was quite loud but the retro vibes were nice.
(3/5) Maybe it's just me, but Houston really knows how to hype up restaurants sometimes. First off, parking was a mess. To be fair, I think Nando's is in the Heights area, so that's somewhat expected, but it's still worth mentioning if you're planning a visit. The restaurant itself is super cute and definitely has a great vibe. The service was excellent from start to finish, and I can absolutely see why people enjoy hanging out here, especially if you're grabbing drinks with friends. The atmosphere was probably my favorite part of the experience. As for the food... it was just okay. We ordered wings, which had an interesting flavor. They were good, but not in a way that had me wanting more. We also got a pesto pizza, and while it was manageable, it was extremely salty. The second pizza was pepperoni with jalapeños, but the jalapeños were surprisingly dull and didn't add much flavor at all. The standout item for us was actually the Caesar salad. It was fresh, flavorful, and honestly the best thing we ordered. We each had a Coke, ordered a few items, and somehow the bill ended up close to $100, which felt pretty steep for what we got. The food wasn't bad, but it definitely wasn't memorable enough to justify the price point. One thing I noticed: a lot of people were ordering the Funghi pizza. It's not really my thing, but it seemed to be one of the most popular items in the restaurant. Overall, I'm glad I tried it. The service was amazing, the atmosphere was great, and the space itself is beautiful. The food just wasn't giving what we expected based on all the hype.
Food was amazing. Drink was great. Service was A1. Especially since it was our first time, our server definitely helped us out. Ambiance was a vibe. Music was on 1. Hit after hit and they have arcade games!¡ Will be going back in the near future.
The pizza is great as expected. But the dish that keeps us coming back is the wings. They are a must try. Great bar buzz. 10/10.
Tried the Meat Head pizza and a sandwich called "Da Bomb." I wanted to order some wings, but at $15 for 6 wings, I passed this time. The menu has a decent selection of foods. The location is great, and the ambiance is cool and retro with background music. Inside, there is no TV at the bar, but they do have a few games you can play. The place itself has a cool retro vibe that anyone will like. The pizza was great fresh and hot. It's a thin crust, kind of greasy, but no big deal. It was great until about the middle part, where it started tasting a little too salty, so I stopped there but it's still good. The sandwich, though, I highly recommend. It's full of flavor and very tasty. I didn't get anything to drink, but people around me all had some nice looking drinks. Overall, the vibe inside is great. The pizza was okay, but the sandwich was the best. Great place to visit if you're a pizza lover definitely get the sandwich. the pizza $25 sandwich $18 Total about $47
So we visited this place, Nonna's because my husband wanted some pizza. And he loves thin crust pizza. You cannot get any thinner than their pizza. And it is delicious. But the first time we went in looking for pizza and we saw the menu we had to order the Osso Buco. You just hit it with a fork and it falls apart. It was so tasty and so tender. They had it sitting on polenta it was incredible. I got the mushroom risotto. That was really good. I love risotto and it had such good flavor and texture. Our little waitress Andrea, was so sweet. If you come in, ask for her, she was so accommodating and so helpful. And we went back a second time and we got the pizza. We got to do it half-and-half and it fed four of us. We also got the Badda Bing Wings. They were so good. Very crispy. We got the garlic and vinaigrette dip with the bread. That was really good, but it had big chunks of garlic in it. I loved the mozzarella sticks. They were huge and you get five of them. My picture only shows three because they couldn't wait for me to get a picture of it. They had to take them. And let me tell you that cheese was so light. Usually when I get mozzarella sticks it's thick and it's gummy and no these were delicious and big. For dessert the first time I tried the orange dream cheesecake. Which was like an orange dream sickle with a sugared orange peel on top. Yum. My husband got the big old brick of chocolate cake. It took him two days to eat it it was so good. Then on the second day, we got the potato chip chocolate chip cookie. You talk about sweet and salty and savory. And it was loaded with chocolate chips. So good. The parking is a little small, but if you can get in here, you need to go visit them. It's such a cute quirky looking little place. They have good wines and beers on tap. I got the last bottle of a very good Cabernet from Mexico. But definitely definitely worth the trouble to go see this place.
My boyfriend took me here for a date night last Saturday. Neither of us had been before so we really didn't know what to expect. I'm already a fan of the food at Toasted Coconut so I figured it couldn't be bad. To start, we ordered the mozzarella sticks because our server said they're one of the restaurant's most popular items. They came with both a regular marinara and a spicy marinara. The spicy one wasn't really my favorite taste wise but the regular marinara was delicious. And the cheese pull on those mozzarella sticks was CRAZYYYYY! I see why they're popular. For our mains, we shared a buffalo chicken pizza and an order of the potato gnocchi. Honestly the pizza was large enough that we probably didn't need the gnocchi but we wanted to try a few different dishes. Their pizzas come in a thin crispy crust and are cut into squares which I actually loved because you don't end up feeling overly stuffed from all the bread. The buffalo chicken pizza was super tasty. The buffalo sauce had a nice kick and was super tangy! The potato gnocchi was also fantastic. It came in a pesto sauce with goat cheese which is always a winning combination for me. The flavors worked so well together and the gnocchi itself was so freaking soft and pillowy. The service was okay. Our server was attentive at the beginning but once the food arrived we didn't see much of her until we flagged her down to bring the check. Nothing terrible but it definitely was not memorable. What really stood out to me was the atmosphere. The space is super hip with dim lighting, cool decor, and great music playing. The vibe alone makes it worth visiting! Overall, we had a great meal and a really fun date night. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu!
My love for Nonno's has no words, but here goes. Just know that I love tavern style, cracker thin crust. If I had a date night here, I'd make sure to lady and the tramp the mozzarella sticks every single time. It's just that fucking good. Add a little drizzle of ranch for that oomph or a dibble dabble of marinara and have a dance. Get it every time. The fungus among us has flavors that marry so well, that it's orgasmic. Definitely not for the weak. You'd need a palate cleanser after each slice. But it's just that good. Trust. Easily the top flavor that I've ever had in my life. Not into the fungus among us, no worries. You can't go wrong with the meat head or the wise guy. mwuah good ole crispy edges, perfectly portioned greasy pepperoni cup, on a cracker thin crust. The seasonal cheesecake is so good, that I think about it all the fucking time. All. The. Time. The vibes of Nonno's brings you back to the 90s of the Pizza Hut commercials of seated family dinners at the restaurant, but with breadsticks and pizza. Oh, and there's no phone. BUT, you can order online. It's kid friendly, so you gotta tolerate it, or you won't be able to understand the love for Nonno's. They have 4 old school games. pinball, Pac-Man, and a couple I can't think of the top of my head. But you get the gist. The lighting is so nostalgic, that it just hits right. I'd be devastated if Nonno's ever close. I'd lose my fuckin' mind.
Really impressed with everything about this pizzeria. Love the decor, from the Pizza Hut table lights to the arcade games. Everything was very clean. Service wise, one word... amazing. Very nice people. The food, I think I saved the best for last. The salad was very good. One of the better Caesar salads I've had. The pizza, well I rarely eat more than two slices and i demolished my half. The place was so good. Wish I was a local and could bring my kids.
Delicious pizza! We came as a huge group quite late at night with no reservations, so it was so kind of the restaurant to accommodate us. All the pizzas hit! So tasty, perfect for our quick Houston visit
Came in on a wed night and was seated immediately. Dress code: casual, came in gym attire Food 5/5: Ordered the fungus amoung us pizza, chopped salad, wings and bean dip. Everything tasted great, wings were slightly spicy and very savory, probably my favorite tonight. Service 5/5: very friendly and helpful, super knowledgeable about the menu and very professional. Accommodating when we noticed some condensation dripping at our first seat. Ambiance 4/5: rustic Italian wooden feel, quite liked the overall vibes but docked a point for the condensation that dripped down on us at the table we were first seated at, but were quickly shifted to another table when we pointed it out Value 4/5: very good portion sizes for a good price. Overall 4.5/5: very much enjoyed it the 2 times I've been here. Will be back to try other pizza toppings. Great service and food and pretty good ambiance and value Parking: is a nightmare. Small parking lot that is always full as it is shared by a couple other restaurants that are pretty popular
Nonno's was definitely a "no no" for me. The experience started off rough because we waited over 20 minutes before anyone even came to our table. I ordered the mozzarella sticks with ranch, but the ranch never came out. The portion was also pretty small for the price. The service overall was very slow, and while the interior ambiance looked nice, it was so loud inside that it was hard to even have a conversation. I ordered the pepperoni pizza and it took over 30 minutes to come out, and honestly the quality was pretty mediocre compared to other pizza spots I've had. Parking is also difficult since it's very crowded and finding a spot can be a challenge.

This restaurant much like it's sister restaurants is a full dining experience. The interior decor is very well thought out with a true 80's pizzeria vibe including video games and Pizza Hut lights. The service was spectacular! We truly enjoyed the garlic balsamic appetizer! It is something special. The pizza was good. Ask for ranch! It is amazing. I would pass on dessert. We did mini cookies and they were hard and flavorless- more like a small bag of Chips A'hoy. Overall I would certainly try this place again, especially to taste their pastas. This review is a little late as I went last month, but here it is. I went with a group of friends on a Monday night. Unsurprisingly a lot of the cool spots are closed on Monday, but this cool spot is not. As you walk in, Nonno's gives you an old school pizza parlor vibe - they have a reel to reel music player, arcade games, shuffleboard and more. We got sat in a comfortable booth, and got served promptly. For food we shared the mozz sticks, Maui Wowee pizza and Meat Head pizza. The sticks were huge and delicious. The mozzarella tasted fresh and the outside was crunchy. Both pizzas were delicious, but my favorite was the Maui Wowee - basically as the name suggests is their spin on a Hawaiian. Their pizza is pretty much tavern style - thin and crunchy. Other than food they also have a good cocktail list and of course beer and wine options. Overall this spot is a must try. The vibes and the food were just perfect. Also, we saw Chris Shepherd hanging out at the bar and I take that as a good sign! read more
Came to Nonno's to grab some drinks and have a little grub with friends after a movie nearby. Nonno's has been on my list for awhile and needed to be crossed off the list. Nonno's is part of the Nobie and Toasted Coconut family so I knew we were in for a treat. Located off Richmond, the place is easy to find but parking is challenging in their lot. They got street parking off to the side, but I suggest going to their lot across the street. The lot is a little rough though, so drive carefully. They don't take reservations, so expect a wait at peak times. When we came, it was busy, but we did get options on seating. We chose to sit off to the side where they have an open wall where there half your party can sit outside while the other half sits inside. There's also some bar seating as well as booths throughout. They have a retro theme going complete with record players, pinball machines and even old pizza hut lamps hanging from the ceiling. If that isn't enough, they blast some great retro hits as well. Frank was the man with the plan that took care of us that afternoon. He gave excellent recommendations and was friendly throughout. Nonno's has a variety of offering in both the drink and food categories. For adult beverages, they have draft and bottles beer and cocktails. The frozen Porn Star Martini was suggested to us so we got that. Vodka and passionfruit made up this drink and it was very good. Just the right amount of tart with a little bit of sweetness. It's a perfect hot weather drink. They got options for food as well ranging from sandwiches, salads, pastas, and apps. Their main draw is their tavern style pizza. I'm a pizza lover in general, but a thin crust pizza always has my heart. Tavern style is really the real Chicago style pizza. I've had it in Chicago and throughout the Midwest. There's something about that thin, crispy, cracker like crust that just can't be beat. It usually has a good amount of cheese and toppings all the way to the edges. A bad bite doesn't exist on this type of pizza. We wanted to share one pizza as we wanted to get a bite next door too. We settled on the Wise Guy which came with sausage and giardiniera (mixture of pickled vegetables). We also added pepperoni to one half of the pizza as well. This pizza was absolutely delicious. It came out hot and crispy as advertised. The toppings were spread out just right and every bite had everything. The pizza was 14 inches which was perfect for 3 people without being overly full. I've never had giardiniera on pizza before but that was a game changer. It also added a nice touch of heat to the pizza as well. Overall, this was a solid spot that we thoroughly enjoyed. I've had craving for the pizza here since. I was told the pasta game here is strong too so a return visit will be happening real soon for sure! read more

Really enjoyed our dinner at Nonno's. The white bean dip was smooth and flavorful (kid favorite), and the little green saag was such a fun, unexpected dish -- super fresh with great texture. We finished with the cheesecake, which was light, creamy, and just the right amount of sweet. Can't wait to come back and try the pasta and the "above average cabbage". When you charge 22% mandatory gratuity for a large party, that's a no no. When you charge 75 cents to play a 30 year old racing game, Cruisin USA (1994), that's a no no. When you have delicious thin crust pizza, that's Nonno's. There's something about that place this gives good vibes. Not sure if it's the upbeat 90's music, the retro arcade games, or the old Pizza Hut lamps. Either way, I love it! We ordered the meat lovers pizza, fungus among us pizza, and spaghetti and meat balls (all made in house). My favorite was the fungus among us, because the mushroom, grilled onions, fried shallots, and cheese all went so well together. The meat lovers pizza was a nice contrast, which had old world pepperonis and sausage (slightly spicy, so not for kids). The kiddos enjoyed the spaghetti and meatballs, but I found the sauce to be a bit too salty and the noodles to be slightly harder that I'm used to. The meatball was great though! Just note that the inside is expected to be slightly pink (we thought it was not fully cooked). Expect to have trouble finding parking. It's a tiny parking lot. If you drive a full size truck or SUV, you'll appreciate your backup camera and distant sensors, because you'll need every inch. We witnessed a truck back up into another truck while trying to get out. Music is loud, but tasteful. We were still able to converse normally. Didn't like how the arcade games were so expensive. Maybe I'm just old now though. Pinball was $1, Rampage was $1.25, Cruisin USA was 75 cents. In comparison, Luna Pizza didn't charge for their retro arcade machine. I think after 10:00 pm, arcade games are free. Service was nice. No complaints here! I did not appreciate being forced to pay 22 percent tip for a large party. It was 3 adults, 2 kids, and one baby. I don't even pay that high of a tip at fine dining restaurants. Overall, I would still recommend this place. Fun vibe and good food! read more

Thin crust pizza, fresh made pasta, and even a few arcade games. It's hard to go wrong with that combination. The pizza crust is super thin but still somehow able to hold its own against all of the delicous toppings. Fungus among us pizza: sauteed/roasted onions and mushrooms have never tasted so good before. This is combo is full of flavor and is delicious. Meat head: pepperoni, sausage, and capicola are classic toppings that do not disappoint. Spaghetti and meatballs: our waitress told us the pasta is all made fresh in house and the difference is certainly noticable. When I cut the meatballs open, I was really concerned because it was pink inside. But then our waitress informed us the meatballs are a mix of really high quality beef and pork and assured us they were fully cooked. Phew! There are a few games around like a racing game and pinball machines. Very fun place for the whole family. read more

Every time we come to Nonno's we have an amazing experience! This is my go to neighborhood restaurant. Bill the manager took such good care of us! The ambiance in here is super cute at night. Perfect for a date night or dinner with the kids (cool selection of vintage pinball machines) decor is perfect feels like we are stepping back in time. Food is ALWAYS 10/10 Peter lambo pizza is my absolute favorite. Cooked to perfection every single time. Cesar salad was delicious it came with anchovies (if your into that) nice little surprise. . Bada bing chicken wings are also always a HIT! Valerie was our server and took such great care of us as well! Thank you so much Nonno's we will always be back read more
Came here on a weeknight and tried their caesar salad, Indian style pizza, chicken piccatta, and N/A spritz. The pizza was excellent, sliced into rectangles, thin and crispy. The salad was a hefty portion, and the cheese was lovely. Chicken was outstanding, super tender and flavorful. The spritz was also great and tasted the same as an alcoholic one. Service was very friendly. Parking is challenging, as their lot is very small, but there is street parking in the surrounding area. Ambiance is old-school casual, with arcade vibes. read more
Finally trying Nonna on a Thursday night and picked up around 6:30. Our online order took about 30 minutes. Walked in and they were busy. I saw a good sized Bar area as well a mini arcade games area. Found out the pick up window is on the right side of the entrance. The Specialty pizzas looked good but we couldn't agree on which one so we ordered a BYO-Wild Mushrooms, Jalapeños and Bocherones. enjoyed the smoke on the mushrooms and the Boquerones were mild and not salty-Very good. Also ordered a cheese which was okay. Crust is thin and for some in our party maybe too thin. Chicago cut slices. The Grandma slices were on the menu but we couldn't order and found out they no longer offer the Ribeye and Veggie slice. (Due to lack of demand). Kind Lady at the pick up counter mentioned the slices might be making a comeback. Service was friendly. Overall, given the price point and hype-ok. read more
My boyfriend and I were on a date night and had just left a concert the other night when we both wanted to grab a quick bite somewhere. Since we were downtown, Nonno's popped up on our search and we decided to give it a try. Having heard that they had won an award for top restaurant in 2023, we were intrigued to try the food! I'm a huge fan of something simple done right so I was hoping that they were just as good as other reviews were saying! When we arrived, we were greeted by a host. This was about 11PM and they close at midnight. We were seated and provided menus quickly for us to be able to look at what Nonno's had to offer. After talking through the menu, our server came by to ask us how we were and if we were ready to order appetizers. We both said we were interested in just ordering the pizza so he explained to us how their pizza's worked as far as specials to making custom ones. We decided to go with the special Maui Wowee and an order of cacio pepe since I wanted to try some pasta. Our server asked if we wanted to have it all out at the same time which we said that was fine and then we also had drinks. The Pasta was perfectly cooked with a nice bite to the noodles, the sauce was perfect. The pizza was absolutely delicious. I love a great thin crust with some char and crunch and this had everything I wanted! I don't mind the pizza being cut in squares since it's smaller pieces and easy to eat, but I'd say that there's no crust in the middle pieces which is the best part. I LOVE their ranch dressing. It tastes so fresh and I got some to take home for the left over pizza that we couldn't finish. I'd definitely come back here again for a great pizza and they have tables that can accommodate large parties also! :) read more

Been meaning to check this place out, and finally got the chance last night. It did not disappoint! First of all, they do not take reservations, which worried me a little because of the recent popularity of the restaurant. The website clearly says walk-ins only, but I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived that our party of four was able to be seated immediately. Admittedly we were there at 9 pm on a Friday, but the place was pretty full! We loved the ambiance inside. It has a pizza-nostalgia vibe, with old Pizza Hut chandeliers and dominos lining the bathroom walls. There is a lot of early 90s-style wooden and tile furnishings, a wall of arcade games, a gumball machine, and an antique sound system that all added to the fun atmosphere. The music was a little loud (we had to yell our orders at the waiter), but overall we all really liked it. We had the mozzarella sticks to start, that came with either Hot Larry or Marinara sauce. We chose both, but the Hot Larry sauce was the best! Did have a little kick though. We split three pies between our group so we could try more, and ended up with plenty to take home. The pizzas were Chicago tavern-style, with thin crust and sliced in squares rather than triangular slices. We tried the Wise Guy, Broccoli Garlic, and Maui Wowee pizzas, all of which were pretty good! Very unique pizza combinations offered (with the exception of the Maui Wowee, though still an eccentric one!). Our only slight complaint was that the ricotta on the Broccoli Garlic seemed as though it could use a little salt. We also got to try some cocktails, which were great! We had the Frozen Pornstar Ritas and the Taylor Street Rita, and would recommend both! Great vibe, good food, good drinks, and a late night kitchen?! We will be back! read more
Wow! This is our new favorite pizza destination! We ordered and deconstructed two amazing thin crust pies. The little green saag pie was the best Indian style pizza we've ever gnoshed. Spiced spinach dip, feta, onion, potato and curry yogurt. The build you own pie we got was just as tasty. Pepperoni and lemon ricotta...who knew this would be this good?! They bake the pie and then use a pastry bag and put florets of lemon ricotta cheese on it....There was a little bit of the green saag left and we let our kids take it home, reluctantly, there was none of the pepperoni with lemon ricotta left. Our son enjoyed a True Anomaly Small Giant draft beer...it was very good....i stole a sip....should have got one of my own. Riley Made us feel at home, the service was as great as the food. The decor and antique video games/pinball machines add to the charm of tthis place. We will be returning and we need to try their sister restaurant located in the other half of this building, Toasted Coconut. read more

Saw a post on IG and decided to stop in on a random weekday after work. When I pulled up off Richmond let me say there is not a lot of parking available so if I lived close I'd probably uber. When I walked in the vibe was giving vintage 80s throwback. When I sat at the bar I was immediately greeted then waited about five minutes for a menu. Upon reviewing the menu I noticed this spot didn't have a happy hour. I asked the bartender what items she liked and she was very knowledgeable. Showed her the pizza I wanted and placed an order for a pepperoni and an order of the wings. It had a different type of aioli sauce on it not my favorite. What was crazy was when the pizza came out it want hot and looked as if it had been sitting out for a while. When I asked the bartender she stated that it gets cold because it's a thin crusted pizza. When I tried it I was like it just okay. I feel like she could have offered to remake the pizza but I didn't want to cause an issue because I never know if they might do something to my food. I wanted to mention that if you're a drinker this might not be the spot for you as they have a very limited bar. In total it was $19 pizza, $13 for about five wing dings and maybe $3 for a beer. If I come back I would need to maybe try a fresh pizza and maybe something else on the menu. I was just disappointed. My server was Kate. read more

We had no trouble getting a table around 7:30 on a Saturday. Ambiance was pleasant, service was friendly. I honestly would just come pack for the drinks, the frozen Negroni and frozen pornstar martini was soo delicious. The pizza was just fine, I think the style just isn't my favorite. If you're a fan of a really thin crust pizza it may be for you. We also ordered the mushroom cavatelli and a turtle cake inspired cheesecake. The cheesecake slice was very generous and it was super rich, definitely ideal to split between 3-4 people lol. The mushroom cavatelli was good too but it was more like an acidic mushroom pasta than a creamy one. Overall a fun experience! read more

DELICIOUS! I went for my birthday. It was about a 30 minute wait (Sunday night), a bit packed, but the service was fast and the pizza was superb. I created my own with garlic, jalapeno, and banana peppers, & ordered mozzarella sticks. I will say I didn't enjoy the smoky marinara sauce that it came with. As for the pizza, I had leftovers for an entire week, and the crust was very thin and crispy, yet not burnt (a mistake many pizza places succumb to). I would visit again, just accommodate for the lengthy wait you are likely to face for seating. read more
Nonno's is in the same parking lot as the toasted coconut. It can get very busy so just to be on the safe side, avoid the parking lot and do street parking lol. We got the short rib noodles that they had put on the menu that day. Absolutely amazing. Didn't know that they had a reverse happy hour sort of special going when we got there so we got wings at a very heavily discounted price. We also got the caesar salad which comes with anchovies and is probably one of my faves in all of Houston. The drinks are just as strong as they are delicious. read more
What a fun place!! Love the lighting, the games, ambiance overall. We popped over after watching the Texans game at the bar next door. there was an hour~ wait and we politely asked if they could text us when our table was ready and the hosts were accommodating about that! We stopped at Toasted for quick beverage and then back to Penny Whistle before our table was ready. We've always been a fan of Nobie's and Toasted Coconut and have been regulars for years so we were excited when they announced their new concept! We couldn't wait to see what this team could come up with, especially in a very family friend pizza joint! They specialize in New York tavern style pizza! Think super thin cracker like crust! We came shortly after they opened and didn't have any issues snagging a table. The interior was very simple but reminded me of the 80s.. with the subway tiles. There's a small arcade area for the kiddos.. and there's always karaoke-able songs playing! I hear their arcade games are going FREE soon! I believe drinks are all wine based or pre-mixed. Now the food.. I was super duper excited to see a small selection of house made pastas on the menu as well as the pizzas! I love love love Nobie's pasta! They didn't disappoint here either! We had the mozzarella sticks, gooey mozzarella that pulls out to arms length after that first bite :) paired with a spicy marinara sauce (don't worry, they also have a regular option if spice isn't for you). The Caesar salad was crisp and delish, with a light anchovy on top! The pastas are to die for and there is a rotation of different selections each night. The Mowweee Wowwee was flavorful with spam and those jalapeños! Mushroom Risotto was delish! Lean Green was interested. Had lots of seeds and wasn't my favorite but I know lots of people like it. Cacio e Pepe and the bolognese are staples on the menu as well. Excellent service and great music selection. I had seen this place pop up on my fyp for a hot minute. Was finally able to try it and did not disappoint. The inside is very retro. Service is great. Very welcoming staff. They also make very good recs as to what you'd like. We ended up getting the all beefed up pizza and it was really good and rich. The wings have such a good flavor to them. Can't wait to come back. read more

Love love loved Nonno's! Went with a couple friends on Friday night not realizing how cute/cool of a place it was - vibes were high!! There was about a 45 min wait but we went during peak dinner rush on a Friday so that's expected, so we just grabbed a few stools at the bar and it was perfect. Every single staff member from hostess to bartenders to servers were amazing - so friendly and checked on us often! We ordered some beer and espresso martinis while we waited and they were able to transfer our tab over to our table which I really liked. For apps we went with the crispy potatoes and mozzarella sticks. Y'all... the cheese pull on the mozz sticks was something out of a cartoon it was so amazing, those were my favorite for sure. For our main we ordered the meat head pizza with ricotta added and it was delicious! 10/10 experience at Nonno's - will 100% be back soon read more
