Not good tasting water.
Geronimo T.

Went here before going to Angel Stadium. Found this place by accident since we wanted to go elsewhere to eat. This restaurant was 2 of the 4 that was currently open. We entered and was greeted by the host. We sat where we wanted since it was not crowded. Looked at the menu, the menu had many entrees to choose from. Vietnamese food was on point here. Ordered a crunch egg roll, rice with fried chicken and meat with fried rice and noodles. Our food was served within 10 minutes. The food was outstanding! It was really delicious! The portion size was not big, just right! The price was great! It was cheap and fair compared to other restaurants. Good quality foods for a fraction of the price that you pay @ Mickey Ds. All was good .... EXCEPT.. drum roll.... The waters being served tastes like water coming out of a Waterhose! I couldn't drink it. I ordered a Coke. This place would of been perfect if it wasn't for the tap water beings served. Plenty of parking and clean restrooms. Good place to eat.

Came here after Disney and it was worth the drive. The ambiance seems like a quick serve, however, I think eventually this place will blow up. It's a small location by a business district. The service is nice and super friendly. Let's start with drinks. We got the peach orange tea, strawberry lemonade, mango lemonade, ube brown sugar boba, and brown sugar boba. All drinks are 5/5. The food is by far one of the best modern Vietnamese dishes in Anaheim. The popcorn chicken is super light and flavorful and crunchy. The sauce was good. The sauce that comes with it matches perfect. 5/5. Cajun fries are generic Cajun fries. Nothing too crazy. 4.2/5. The garlic noodles either grilled pork is super good. Lots of flavor, great texture, and the meat is charred perfectly. 5/5. The orange chicken is different than most orange chickens. Has a nice spice to it and not as saucy or glaze. 4.4/5. The prok

Customer service was very friendly and patient. I found that they had more items on the board than they did on their menus. I just ordered a Vietnamese Egg Coffee Iced. The interior was tidy. Looking forward to trying out their food and ordering another Vietnamese style drink.

I'm trying to find the best popcorn chicken in the OC, and sadly did not find that here. This is the first time chicken has left my mouth dryer with every chew. You must be thinking I'm exaggerating right? Look at the attached photo and just imagine that in your mouth, as almost every piece looked like that inside. The shaken beef was also dry, though not as severely, but fortunately the rice provided redemption as it was deliciously fragrant and pleasant. The combo vermicelli had noodles that tasted so waterlogged that it lacked flavor overall despite the fish sauce coming in punching. So much potential overall that it's disappointing it can't be placed in the rotation.

Some of the best food in OC, definitely have to come here. Wow, greay value and a superb meal! 10/10!!!

After a long day from Disneyland my kids wanted dinner around the area and a place that served boba as well. We came upon this cozy little restaurant that is a bit hidden, but wow each dish did not disappoint at all! Service was exceptional, food had tons of flavors, and the boba drinks were tasty not too sugary. Tons of parking space.

Nice and clean place. Great menu selection. We came here on a Sunday morning around 10.30 am before heading to an event. Service was okay. Could have be better. Not sure if they didn't offer beans sprout or they didn't understand us. Food is tasty for a quick bite.

Small little hole in the wall near the angel stadium and honda center. My partner has tried it as take out before and we finally got a chance to sit down and eat here. Friendly and attentive staff. The food is all prepared freshly. We ended up ordering the shake chicken with garlic noodles and the house fried shrimp with garlic rice. The noodles had a good amount of chicken and the taste was great, especially with a little Sriracha, took it up a notch. The star of the meal was definitely the house shrimp. It had a type of green aioli sauce and came with the option of regular or garlic rice. We chose the garlic rice and it also comes with a fried egg. The shrimp are so crispy and the rice has a good garlic taste. Definitely give them a try

Great service and amazing food. It wasn't crowded and had flavorful options for any preference. We got the shaken beef with fried rice and the shaken chicken salad. Beef was tender and the salad had a lot of flavors. Reasonably priced and good portions

Food smells amazing, beautiful place, strawberry lemonade is super sweet. I will definitely try the food when I return. Give this 3 stars. Check that, I stayed for food and raise my review to 4 starts the garlic noodles were amazing.

Yum! Great food and quick service awaits you at Non's Kitchen. It is tucked away in a little shopping center/business district and parking can be a bit of a challenge...plan accordingly. We were initially waiting to eat at the Filipino restaurant but since the wait time was too long and our stomach alarms had already gone off, we opted for Vietnamese food and boba instead. The sweet gal that served us was super nice and had our food out in a flash! I opted for the Garlic Noodles with shrimp and it hit the spot. The white sauce was a bit on the sweet side and not what I was expecting but the hubby loved it. So keep that in mind if you have more of a simpler palette. Other than that, the noodles were buttery and delish...no complaints there! The hubby opted for the Grilled Pork Chop Plate and was satisfied. Nice and juicy with lots of flavor. I was craving something sweet after so I topped it all off with an Oolong Milk Tea with Boba. Perfect.

Craving for the Waterfall chicken, popcorn chicken, and my favorite Strawberry lemonade with crystal boba.

Food and service was great! I ordered the popcorn chicken and hibiscus tea. Portions were generous.

Be prepared: this place is incredibly popular, especially during peak hours. Parking can definitely be challenging because of how busy it is. The last time I visited on a Monday, the lot was completely full, and I ended up parking on the street. The restaurant is also primarily cash only, so come prepared. They open early, making it a perfect breakfast spot for an early bowl of pho. The pho broth is exactly what I want when I'm craving comfort food--clean, flavorful, and incredibly soothing. However, the star of the meal for me was the chả giò. Wow. Although they arrived after our pho, they came out at the perfect temperature. I was hesitant to take a bite right away because freshly fried food usually burns my mouth, but these were just right. Crispy, airy, savory, and absolutely delicious. Paired with their fish sauce, it was perfection. I enjoyed the egg rolls so much that next time I'm definitely ordering the egg roll vermicelli bowl. Service was friendly and prompt despite how busy it was, and it's clear the staff works hard to keep things moving. One thing I love is seeing all of the awards and accolades displayed on the walls. Phở 79 received the prestigious James Beard America's Classics Award, and it's easy to understand why after one meal here. This restaurant is truly an Orange County icon. The restaurant will soon be moving to a new location, as signs throughout the restaurant announce the upcoming move. While I'll miss the original spot, I'm excited for the new space--hopefully with more parking! Some places are worth the wait, and Phở 79 is absolutely one of them.

It was a good meal, friendly staff, classic Little Saigon energy but also a reminder that Orange County pho is still playing catch up with San Jose. The restaurant was busy in that typical pho joint way with a line outside, a packed dining room, steaming bowls, and the whole strip-mall-Vietnamese-restaurant setup that feels like home for me. Service was excellent and very friendly. To my surprise, I was offered the thick noodles as an option. Has this gone mainstream now? My expectations shot through the roof and I eagerly anticipated the ho-fun style noodles in delicious and meaty broth. Wide. Chewy. Lizzo thick! What showed up was the Ozempic version of Lizzo. Still a decent bowl, broth was good, meat was plentiful, but the noodles need to go back to loving themselves or something. Girlfriend, meanwhile, lived her truth: ordered the bland/safe pho. The well cooked thin slices, no tendons, no tripe, and as forgettable as another chicken meal. She refused the hoisin like it personally insulted her. Would I come back if I was already in Garden Grove? Yeah. This place saved me from a weekend of chicken and taco trucks. I owe them some loyalty. Would I drive past actual San Jose Vietnamese spots for it? Absolutely not. OC tried. San Jose still has the belt.
