I went here yesterday to try out some food from this location since the other location I originally intended to go to has this creepy guy who is a regular there. I walked here, and this place comforted me right away. This place has spam rice. I ordered it because I love spam. I also ordered onion rings. I told the cashier that when I got them the other day, it was so spicy that I couldn't finish it and she was very understanding. The spam rice and onion rings were cooked to perfection. Was craving boba while in Old Town and stumbled across R&B. I think they scratched the itch in some aspects, but were lacking in others. R&B is located just outside Orange Circle with plenty of street parking nearby. They have a bunch of indoor seating and a cute vibe inside with a giant indoor tree that you can hang hearts on. The staff is super friendly and quick to serve. I got a Honeydew Stormy & Lychee Yakult, and both were pretty good. The honeydew tasted like a melted melona popsicle (in a good way). I also got the popcorn chicken which unfortunately was a big miss. It tasted bland and didn't have the fried herbs that I've come to know and love, so it just felt lacking. Overall, I'd come back to grab a drink here if I'm craving boba, but would skip the food. I think it's worth a visit if you're in the area and have a craving. read more

That said, the matcha flavor in the mango matcha latte was nonexistent as the mango completely overpowered it, and the drink was a bit sweeter than I expected, so I couldn't sip it as quickly as I normally do. The boba itself had a nice chewy texture and paired well with the drink. I think next time I'd ask for less sweetness and a stronger matcha flavor. The interior of the store was absolutely stunning. Right by the entrance is a tree covered in little hanging notes from previous visitors, which gives the space a whimsical, thoughtful vibe. There are plants all around (from the ceiling to the walls and even incorporated into the tree). Soft, warm lights are beautifully strung throughout the store, adding to the magical, cozy feeling. Honestly, it's probably the most visually beautiful boba shop I've ever been to, and it makes for great photos if you're into aesthetics. The space was also very calm when I visited. Stopped by because I was craving some popcorn chicken! Ended up getting more menu items. The interior is super cool looking, it has a nice aesthetic to it. Would recommend if you are nearby or in the area. Parking can be a little tricky during busier times, they have curb street parking in front of the restaurant. Its nice to see another boba place in orange. This location is big and clean and I was able to study for a bit here. It took me forever to decide what to get. Wasn't sure if I wanted milk tea or coffee. I eventually settled on milk tea because they can't screw that up. Although my drink looks good, it was just normal tasting. I had high hopes for this place since it had really good reviews here, but was thoroughly disappointed. I ordered the Brown Sugar Boba Milk with Egg Pudding (instead of Boba) and got the Milk Milk Milk Milk with Egg Pudding. My hopeful self thought maybe it was still sweet but when I tasted it, all I tasted was milk and egg pudding. It was pretty sad. I wasn't alone. I came with a group and many of us got the same disappointment. Some of us also got Crystal Boba substituted without notifying us because they ran out of regular Boba. Who makes substitutions without asking? Also, I ordered their plain fries and it was below mediocre. I asked for the Cajun seasoning on the side and that didn't help the flavor or the texture at all. On top of that, they were pretty stingy with the amount of ketchup they provide even when I went back to ask for more. Additionally, the girl at cash register seemed lost and flustered. It didn't help with any of the other things going on and it didn't make asking for assistance or remaking the drinks any more comfortable. There was a guy in the back that saw me when I went up to ask for more ketchup and did not acknowledge me other than the awkward eye contact. Their customer service needs some work. The only reasons they are getting three stars are 1) because it was nicely decorated and clean in there, 2) because they were open late on a Sunday night, and 3) because they did fix the drink of someone else in my party. But with a group that ordered something in excess of 8 drinks, it is awkward for a customer to ask them to remake all those drinks. They should make it right the first time. read more

Upon our arrival, we were not greeted. The employee kept looking down, and I was the one who said, "Hi, good afternoon." She looked up but didn't respond with a "Hi," "Good morning," "Can I get your order," or "Welcome." Maybe she was having a rough morning. I hope tomorrow is a better day for her. Anywho, the ambiance was lovely. It wasn't crowded, and they had music playing. My sister and I enjoyed our cold drinks. We thought they were good. Glad to see more shops open up in the circle. Definitely gives people more options to choose from. Also glad that they provide a space for people to come and do their work or study, would have been super helpful when I was younger. Staff is friendly and helpful. The fruit teas here are really flavorful and refreshing, which is why I keep coming back. The boba texture is usually good too. However, the milk teas can sometimes taste watered down and a bit inconsistent depending on the day. Overall still a solid boba spot, especially if you like fruit teas. read more

I love this place! The food and drinks are top-notch and the space is much bigger - and cuter than it appears outside. I used to pass by all the time and didn't think much of the shop, until someone recommended I stop in and I took that advice. When I went in, I was greeted with this gorgeous wish tree filled with hearts. I even got to sit in the table underneath in one time, which was really magical. I've gotten the garlic noodles, which were incredible, and the Jasmine Green Tea with house cream, one of the popular drinks is popular with good reason -- it's so good! Garlic noodles are thee best I've had yet. Definitely a must. It's our first time here and I DO recommend. Popcorn chicken is okay.. needs to be coated more and spicy isn't really spicy. If it weren't for the popcorn chicken not being spicy at all and how it was seasoned this all could've gotten a 5 stars. as for the fries eat them there. My husband and I ordered ube lattes. It was perfectly flavored and was ultra creamy. The coffee was STRONG! We really enjoyed it. We also ordered popcorn chicken and sweet potato fries. The popcorn chicken was like any standard popcorn chicken from a boba shop. The sweet potato fries were kind of a let down. It was a little soggy and not crispy at all. The service was quick. I am a boba fanatic, so I think I can say with confidence that this place is pretty good. They offer a wide variety of options and along with their boba, they have great mango sticky rice and spring rolls. The only things I want to point out is: - The price: It's not the cheapest, there are definitely more affordable options out there. But in terms of price, I would still come back. Each drink can range from $6 to $7. - The service: They take a while to bring out your drinks, and this might be because there's usually only one person working behind the counter, which kind of slows everything down. The two stars are for the yummy popcorn chicken and the ambiance. -3 stars for customer service, especially today. My second time ordered from this location for candy milk tea. This time, the drink was just waaayy off. I couldn't taste the oat in the drink and was not able to drink the cream cheese because according the to female cashier, they seal it for togo drink instead of using the lid for it. Then what is the point of adding cheese cream on top, and are you using a fancy cappuccino mug if I dine in? This never happened at other R&B locations, and I've been R&B customer since they opened the very first store in Bolsa. I guess inventory and quality are not the same even though it is a franchise (the cup does not have R&B logo on it either). I called in to let the store know and ask if I should send them the photo via text or yelp and the girl told me I can do whatever. This kind of customer service will surely chase your customers away. Multiple R&B have closed down; however I won't be ordering from this location even if it's the last one standing. read more

It's bigger on the inside! Decor is pleasant. No WiFi for customers that I saw. It's located in Orange Circle (Old Town Orange), so expect to park on the street or use the free parking garage on the other side of the roundabout if you don't mind a bit of a walk. Service: 1/1. We always pass by this place when attempting to find parking at the circle. Well we finally went in and was pleasantly surprised. We really liked the decor and vibes of the place. I loved that there are so many food options and not just boba. I am actually not a fan and only venture in boba spots for the popcorn chicken. As you could guess I ordered the popcorn chicken and it was good, I kinda wished it was a bit crispier. We also got the crispy egg rolls and fresh spring rolls to snack on. The egg rolls would have been better with the Vietnamese fish sauce in my opinion. I just got a plain black coffee and that was great, the wife is lactose and some of the drinks can't be customized because they're premixed so that was a huge bummer. The ambience gives you a forestry feeling and able to sit and relax and enjoy what you order whether it is drinks or snack type foods. I ordered the Mango dragon fruit green tea and another one with cheese cream, and both with 50% sugar. The service was quick , but then again, it wasn't really busy. Both drinks tasty good, but even with 50% of sugar, the mango dragon fruit green tea with cheese cream was still pretty sweet. It was good though. I got the dragonfruit mango green tea and it didn't taste like dragonfruit, mango, or green tea, but more like a grape juice. I also ordered it half sweet and it was still on the sweeter side. My friend got the dragonfruit stormy and it was bland and not blended well as there were chunks of ice. People working here are pretty nice. It's a mixture of a boba place, with quick handheld type foods and snacks. But they also have actual entrees, including pad thai and full-on rice dishes. I ordered their brown sugar milk tea with boba, shrimp spring roles as well as popcorn chicken and fries. 1. Brown sugar milk tea with boba is ok. It wasn't that good. It was mediocre. Not refreshing at all.... maybe because it was so hot in there.... 2. The shrimp spring roll was ok. Very little shrimp in the spring roll. The peanut butter sauce was good. But it definitely skimped on the shrimp. 3. Popcorn chicken with fries. Popcorn chicken was good. Nice and crunchy. Soft and moist inside white meat. The fries were terrible. A very decent sized Tea shop at the Orange Circle. They not only serve tea but also have some Asian fusion food as well incase you are craving a bite as well. I believe this place has recently opened over here since I don't remember seeing it about a year ago but the ambiance is nice with TVs around and some interesting decor. It is very clean to say the least. I had ordered the Strawberry Milk Tea with Boba and it was good. With any Tea or drink always remember to give it a good shake before you pop it. It's a good place to spend time with friends or just study since they are open later than most places in the OC so that's always a plus. Everything was just good in my opinion. was craving some popcorn chicken so decided to stop by, they came out to almost $10 which is a little overpriced imo. i also got the taro stormy with boba, i've been to other r&b locations so i have a reference as to how their taro stormy tastes like. however, for some reason this location has the worst boba drinks out of all other r&b locations. for some reason, my drink tasted like honeydew (no taro taste whatsoever) which leads me to believe that they either don't wash their blender or they use less taro powder so their ratio is off. their boba is way too soft and bland too. it's also supposed to have a nice creamy taste to it bc of the cheese cream but i somehow couldn't taste it at all. wouldn't recommend! read more
