The food was sooooooo good! The drinks were great too. We had a reservation, got there a little early and were seated right away. The restaurant is dimly lit and cozy. Service was good. After dinner we sat at the bar for a second drink. There was a DJ and a lot of people were dancing. Had a really great time.

I like to wear nice cologne when I go out for an evening. I like to make a statement when I enter a place. My dad did. I know I do. I spent at least $400 on this product from tom ford. Unfortunately at this particular bar area of the restaurant, people told me that I smelled like a mix of stale cigarette smoke and patchouli oil. I tried to laugh but then became insanely angry. I sat down and tried to socialize despite people seeming to cringe at my aroma. The guy next to me kept sucking his teeth every time he finished a course as I tried to relax. I ordered a Caesar salad and i swear it came out fried. The service was outstanding.

We stopped in for dinner and had a really good experience. The restaurant has a bar area and several dining areas. The dining area is dimly lit but has a really nice vibe. The service is really good. The waitress was attentive and helpful. For our meal we started with the sticky pork belly and it was absolutely delicious. It was so flavorful. For our meals I had the lomo saltado which was served with French fries and rice and rice. My girlfriend had the chicken liver mousse. Both of our meals were excellent, so flavorful and tasty. To wrap up our meal we had the almond cake dessert which was spectacular. We really loved this restaurant and will come back for more.

Shakshuka was good!

Walking in, the atmosphere/ambience is amazing! The decor is beautiful and fresh and inviting! The outdoor patio is beautiful! We went for brunch on a Saturday. We ordered a croissant egg sandwich and it was overly Salty and quite cheesy. The shakshuka was tasty and tad salty. The beignets were overly fried. I guess I was expecting New Orleans beignets. I had to ask for water refills and my beverage refill. I would return for the ambience and give it another try with dinner or lunch items next tm

Yes this place is POPPIN and a vibe! So many people, tasty and interesting drinks, small shareable plates. However, it felt like they were trying to kick us out MULTIPLE times. Asking to clear the table repeatedly, glaring looks when we said no we're still eating... It was not like we didnt order 5 plates of apps and 2 rounds of drinks, because we did! Also, there were tables around us empty so I want to assume it was not because they were waiting on our 4-top table. I will be back though, overall 4 stars it was good!

Such a cute spot in Westport. @nomadewestport is known for it's mediterranean inspired dishes. A friend and I went for a Saturday brunch. Avocado truffle crispy rice as appetizer, huevos rancheros for the entree, and the beignets with chocolate sauce for dessert. Everything we got was delicious. I cannot stop talking about the beignets. The beignet were so flaky and soft, and the chocolate sauce had a perfect level of sweetness. Will be back to try more of their menu items! Wish their dinner menu was more veggie friendly!

Really enjoyed checking this spot out for the first time! The hamachi was very fresh and I really liked the creaminess from the avocado mousse. The escargot lacked a little bit of salt but was overall cooked very well. The interior is very boho and chic they keep it very clean. My favorite dish was definitely the shrimp and grits. If you go you absolutely have to try it! The grits were so creamy and with the sauce it was a beautiful combo. Lamb was good as well. Was slightly over for the cook that I asked for, but was still tender. Very spicy though so if you think you can handle the heat, you probably can't because I was downing water. Still a very good flavor though!

Perfect mid week treat... We got there just about 6pm and it was nice and quiet.. service was excellent. Our waiter Angel was kind , and so polite. The food and beverages showed attention to details. The cocktails were beautiful, well balanced and crafted perfectly. The tuna tartare was served with rice crackers that were crunchy and delicious. Even the bread was warm and served with a honey and paprika butter. The pasta with truffles was ideal. The halibut - sauce was delicious but the fish was ok. The angus burger was juicy and done just right.

Came here for lunch last week with my aunt. Ambiance was very nice. We were lucky to get an indoor table since it was super hot outside. Service was ok. They never refilled water or anything. Food was good. We got the chicken bao buns to share, the sauce was a bit overwhelming but it was good. I got the fried goat cheese salad with pears which was delicious. I'd definitely come back if I'm in the area

I've been eyeing the Impossible Burger lunch item for awhile and it finally lined up for me to eat lunch at Nomade the other day. The burger is absolutely stellar. Nomade has so many vegetarian options as well as a great mocktail list. The lunch crowd was packed on a Thursday. We are so lucky this have this place in Westport!

Loved the place, the location is beautiful on the second floor. Great brunch menu, coffee machine. We got a few appetizers to share for the table, the fried deviled eggs were delicious. The service was attentive and courteous. Would recommend for a weekend brunch.

A chic spot in downtown Westport. Loved the boho vibes in the restaurant. Menu was unique, but had good options. I loved the avocado truffle crispy rice. Burger was cooked well and had lots of good flavor to it. Service was great the entire time. I found prices reasonable as well. A great spot!

Good apps, worse main. Served a poorly cooked steak, somewhat worse cut (though au poivre sauce was fine), with butter knives.

There was street parking when we got there but they also have valet and some self parking in the back. As we walked in, the ladies at the host stand were so warm and inviting. They were also the cutest ever. They encouraged us to sit out on the patio versus the bar so we headed upstairs. Our waitress came over with menus and it went downhill from there. She was so inattentive that we had to ask the other waiter for things we needed. He was engaging, checked on us and we even chatted about his Jordanian heritage and my trip there back in December. Our actual waitress, however, checked on the table next to us 6 times (yes I counted) in between her checking on us. Even when I ordered a mocktail, I guess they didn't have the one I wanted so she brought me an entirely different drink without asking me. Then got upset when I didn't want it. The absolute audacity. As far as the food, we got the crab cake, lamb, whipped mashed potatoes and the bread. The food was good but the bread took it to another level. It should have been complimentary though but that's neither here nor there. Overall, loved the experience but wish we had another waitress. She didn't even acknowledge my friend's birthday. Sigh.

The ambiance is very nice, elevated feel to the restaurant. We sat in the upstairs portion of the restaurant. This area they packed with tables very close to each other and was very loud. Other than that, I'd definitely dine here again!

A Place That Feels Like Home…read more The Spotted Horse Tavern was a fantastic find. My brother, who lives locally, recommended it, and I'm so glad he did. I've been there twice now, and both visits were memorable for all the right reasons. The lobster rolls were excellent, the craft beer selection on tap was outstanding, and everything was served with a smile. One of the things I love most about the place is the atmosphere. It's a charming old home that has been beautifully transformed into a restaurant, with plenty of character and a warm, rustic feel. The moment you walk in, it feels comfortable and welcoming. The service was exceptional both times I visited. In fact, a few months ago I tried to stop by again, but the road was closed for pedestrian traffic only and parking was impossible to find. We ended up going to Little Barn up the road instead, which was also a great experience. Later, I discovered that both Little Barn and Spotted Horse were created by my high school classmate, Kevin M. What a small world! Nice job, Kevin. I had no idea you were in the restaurant business, but you've clearly built something special. Regardless of that connection, Spotted Horse stands on its own as a wonderful place to enjoy a meal. Great food, excellent drinks, friendly service, and genuine hometown hospitality. If you're in Westport, treat yourself and stop by. Chances are you'll leave already looking forward to your next visit. Cheers!

I would not recommend eating the raw fish items on the menu. The service is workmanlike. Just ok. I also saw staff drinking alcohol while on duty here one evening, which was a bit off putting. I know this happens in the hospitality business, but at least be subtle about it. They were not.

Their classic margarita never disappoints (with Tajín on the rim, of course), and the tacos are consistently flavorful and fresh. I almost always start with the plantains and chips with guacamole, which make the perfect shareable appetizer. There's truly something for everyone, even for those who wouldn't typically gravitate towards Mexican-inspired cuisine. That said, the service has become a bit hit-or-miss in recent visits. They are an extremely busy location so I understand the hustle. I was happy to see they brought back the traditional table-side ordering after a period of having customers place orders exclusively through their phones. The current hybrid approach is a much better. You get the more personal and professional experience of ordering with a server, while still having the option to pay or place additional orders through your phone if needed. Despite a few service inconsistencies, I'll definitely be back for another margarita and taco night soon!

Our favorites were the chicken tinga, sesame ribeye, and crispy shrimp. The margaritas were also tasty and refreshing, not overly sweet. We had the watermelon mint margarita and green margarita. The place gets very busy, especially on weeknights, so be sure to join the waitlist with the nifty online feature or in person if you plan on going for a date night. There is room outside to wait and an outdoor heater too, which is thoughtful. It must also be nice in the day time with the view of the water.
