Excellent all the way around! This place is so cute, service was spot on and the food was outstanding! We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch.

Drove about and hour and a half to come check out this restaurant. After being let down with the appetizer's, we decided to hold off on ordering entrees and went to a different restaurant for dinner. Service was meh, drinks were good. The hot mussels in white wine were lacking flavor. The $20 cheese board is a literal joke lol it looks like something to would give my toddler for a snack (see photo) it was actually humorous. Escargot was good and very garlicky & buttery. Ordered the octopus and did not enjoy it. The flavor was good but it was cut up into a bunch of tiny pieces (again felt like it was styled for a toddler). Would much rather have the tentacle. Crispy truffle rice didn't taste like truffle at all and the avocado on top was so sour it was definitely old. I know there is lime juice in it but I was very, very sour. Overall I think it is a subpar place. Nothing great. The building itself is stunning. They could provide a much better experience, the potential is there. read more

Nomade - $20 "cheese board" - Mediterranean Near Me - Westport, Connecticut

Horrible food literally disgusting. The salmon was so sub par it Was cat Food They lie about table availability and push everyone to sit at the bar even though they have full avails on the floor. So many other westport options ..this is a Major no read more

I want this place to do well because it's beautiful inside. but it's a meh-fest. the food is meh. and for what it is, not worth it. service is also meh. our order was not written down (i never understand why some restaurants do this, just write the order down) and they forgot a salad we ordered. maybe it's good just as a hangout for drinks. the bar area is amazing. read more

Have been to Nomade twice in the last month; once for dinner & once for Sunday brunch. Both meals were delicious as were the cocktails. Love what the new owner Patrick has done with the decor, a much brighter and lighter version of the old Tavern on Main, with Moroccan influences. Can't wait to sit at the beautiful big bar next time we go! read more

Incredible food, drinks and service. Beautiful decor and ambiance. Loved everything about the place

Beautiful spot. Took my mom to a place of her choice and this is where she decided to go. We both really enjoyed ourselves. She probably has a whole album full of food and drink pics from that one visit which means they were excelled her expectations. read more

Excellent dinner spot with mix of American to middle-east/Mediterranean options. It's well-curated menu with something for everyone. Great dinner scene. Drinks were delicious. read more

Fun new hip restaurant in Westport I highly recommend if you are looking for a cool new place for drinks and eclectic menu.

Fantastic food, fantastic service, fantastic vibe. Great addition to the Westport scene. The "indoor/outdoor" patio is one of a kind. Had a few small plates at the bar - thats the way to go. Get a lil taste of this, a lil taste of that. The bartender was A+ , forgot his name but everyone was great! Cant wait to go back read more

Food and the service was top notch but when we got the bill, we were charged for each soda refill we ordered which really is unacceptable considering the price of everything else. A little ridiculous for an upscale restaurant to do. read more

Really amazing good food and ambiance. The goat cheese salad was so good. Also had brunch there and both my dish and my husbands was delicious. Staff is very nice and helpful. Restaurant is gorgeous. Love it. read more

Welcome to NOMADE! Location, location, location. This grand and welcome building is a familiar sight to generations of Westporters. Conveniently located on Main Street, Westport, CT, this charming structure boasts much free parking, both on the street and in the many surrounding parking lots. Guests are met most cordially and accommodated in the many comfortable seating areas, including comfy leather couches, tables and chairs, and various bar seating areas. The staff is warm and gracious. The food is top quality and the atmosphere is welcoming and congenial. I give Nomade a well deserved 5 stars. read more

I just finished dinner and drinks at Nomade and will probably not go back. We sat outside which was nice but there were ants everywhere, the napkins were dirty and due to sitting outside there was an unpleasant smell. I got a frozen aperol spritz which was really good and the tuna tartare and charred octopus was also good. My friends enjoyed their meals as well however the service was really bad and one of my friends dinners didn't come out until 20 min after we had already finished ours. They also had cleaned the entire table as if we were done yet my friend hadn't even gotten her food yet. When the bill came I asked the server if there was anything he could do for the delay and he said he would ask the manager. He came back and said no that the kitchen was backed up and there was nothing he could do. Eventually the owner came around and asked how our meals were and I told him what happened so he gave us a free round of drinks which was nice but the service and waitstaff still need improvement, they weren't attentive or pleasant. read more

The food was good. Aggressive table turning. Forget birthday requests. Had heard a lot about Nômade and read an article about their opening in 2022 so I wanted to support them. Each year I take my wife and my son out for a Birthday dinner since they are a day apart. After I made the reservation, I got the confirmation call and asked that they please note that I wanted candles in the deserts for my wife and son. They assured me it was being noted on the reservation. When we sat I noticed the reception staff would check the dining room frequently and when a table was overstaying their welcome, 2-3 staff would hover near the table, I guess to send a message--time to go. I didn't think much of it, afterall that's their business model. We had a good dinner, very tasty. When deserts were ordered I got my camera ready for the candles...but nothing. I asked the waiter if he was notified about the candles. Nope. On the way out I asked the reception staff to check the notes on the reservation and again...nope. Oh well. Sadly, I will not be returning. Too many other options available. read more

Definitely check this place out. Reservations at this point in time are all done over the phone and the last time I was there (a week ago or two from this review post date) they do not accept reservations between the 6:30-7:30 time frame but accept all walk-ins during this time frame. My go-to dish is their Hamachi Crispy Rice and Hungarian Stuffed Cabbage. read more

We really enjoyed this restaurant. The food was very good - waygu steak frites were amazing as was the scallops special. The octopus and lobster crispy rice were very good and the deviled eggs were good also. Desserts were good but not incredible. The craft cocktails were also impressive. Highly recommend. read more

Great new addition! Food was terrific and service was very good for a busy night. Any wait to go back.

Disappointing. But still better than tavern on main in its latter days. Will give it another go (if my wife lets me)

First time here, for drinks and dinner with a small group. Our server was Angelica, and she was attentive and friendly, and her colleagues acted as a team. Asking for directions to the restroom is always an interesting test, as you are asking someone not assigned to your table and with lots to do: I got a great response and directions worthy of five star hotel lobby staff. Atmosphere was buzzing in a pleasant way. Drinks were solid, though we stuck with basics (gin martini, glass of rioja, old fashioned). The food flavors were well done. I had a gumbo appetizer and the stuffed cabbage for my main. Others had the fried calamari salad, some for an appetizer, one for their main, it was that good! The presentation of my food was not great. It looked from certain angles like my old high school cafeteria food, but I ignored that, took a bite, and was pleased. I'm big on presentation, but looks aren't everything, and food always comes back to flavor and satisfaction in the end, so I will be returning for warm and excellent service, solid drinks, buzzing atmosphere, and satisfying food. read more

Food was okay but over priced. Poor service and rude staff. Would not recommend overall.

Food was so disappointing. I really thought this was going to be something special, but we were completely underwhelmed. Overcooked meats. Under-seasoned, etc. just blah. The only thing that was fantastic was the warm bread and sweet butter. The service was fine. But then the ambience! While the decor was lovely, you cannot see the menu! They have these tiny pin lights as overhead lighting that are poorly placed so that half the table has some light and the other half is using their phones just to read the menu. We will likely not return. read more

If there were more than 5 stars this restaurant would have gotten it ! the food was superb , the service was fantastic and the atmosphere was so very cool ! The new indoor bar was huge and totally amazing ! Outdoor dining too! Its light and airy ! You walk out of there enjoying the wonderful experience ! SO VERY SPECIAL ! I'd walked by this place many times in Westport and was so excited to try it just looking at its stunning decor and setup. It's so cute and the outdoor areas are well shaded. They do allow pets outside on the patio. The Bloody Mary was probably the best I've ever had. The food was delicious- the avocado crispy rice is a must try. The shakshuka and huevos rancheros were so good and cooked perfectly. The crème brûlée wasn't my favorite because I just prefer one that's not as dense & eggy. The waiters were a little slow in bringing our food out even though it was pretty empty when we got there. Maybe they're going for the European, slow dining vibe? I'd still definitely eat here again. read more

I really enjoyed this place! The stuffed cabbage was my favorite! Appetizers portions were quite small outside dinning was fabulous

Great place for a drink on a summer day. There is one bar inside and one outside. Service very friendly and attentive. Prices are pretty reasonable. We had appetizers and a salad. Cheese platter a little small. I will return read more

What s beautiful restaurant! The ambiance is so cool and the food and drinks were great. Would recommend the truffle sticky rice!

Really beautiful place. Loved the environment. The drinks were delicious. Food was so so. Fried anything there is frozen like and not of quality. Hit or miss menu - we tried a lot of items. Server let us hang out without a rush, ordered ala carte / tapas style, which was great. If the chef sharpens the menu, this place will be a true hit! read more

Westport has a New Five Star Breakfast Restaurant on Main Street, NOMADE. We got there at 7:15 and the staff was so welcoming and the atmosphere was charming and warm. Fresh baked pastries and muffins fill the air as you walk in. Tables are cozy yet spacious. Now for the food. The coffee was delicious, hot and robust and fresh. The orange juice was fresh squeezed and chilled. Eggs, bacon and cheese croissant sandwich accompanied by a bed of fresh greens. The vegetable omelet with zucchini, gruyere cheese, mushrooms alongside fresh mixed green salad. The menu is extensive and we will be going back soon to try other dishes. The pastries are created by a french pastry chef to perfection. We had kouign-amann, Elephant Ears, croissant and a delicious blueberry muffin. This was the best breakfast we have ever had dinning out. We have been regulars at Nomade for lunch and dinners which are incredible with taste and innovation. So much effort and pride goes into every dish. Outstanding, memorable and delicious. WELL DONE ! Food 10 Pastries 10 PLUS ! Off the charts Service 10 Atmosphere 10 read more

Fun atmosphere and gorgeous decor, but if you are a real foodie you will agree the food is terrible. I've visited several times hoping it was just a bad night. I can't imagine it's that hard to improve the menu and the quality of food. What a shame. read more

Went here for dinner with two friends in December, food was excellent, vibe was cool, but our waiter was beyond rude. He rushed us the moment we sat down & non existent once we asked for the check. It turned me off so much I won't be able to return. I've heard similar from friends about the wait staff and it makes me wonder if it was the same person. He couldn't get us out of there fast enough, slammed down the dessert menu upon our dinner plates being picked up, I could go on and on. Extremely disappointed because the food was great and the atmosphere beautiful. read more

We are visiting area and stumbled upon Nomade. We loved the ambiance and the food was great. The wine was priced fairly and service was super. We plan to go back. read more

Was really excited to try this place but the food was just not good. My boyfriend and I both ordered the beef burger medium rare and it was well done to the point of being extremely dry and crumbly. Also, very strangely, the burger tasted super fishy?! We think it may have been the pesto, or cooked on the same grill as salmon, but such a turnoff ... will not be returning. read more

Great location. Beautiful design and atmosphere. I stopped by with a coworker for lunch and got seated immediately. Service and food was pretty good. A bit pricey, but clearly one of the best spots to eat downtown westport. Would I go back? Yes. Definite upgrade over the old tavern on main. read more
