After eating lunch nearby, we stopped here to pick up desserts for later in the evening dessert treats at home. The bakery is open...so you can see the activity going on. A display case filled with pastries looks at you when you walk in, you want to order almost 1 of everything. They offer, sweet, savory, and freshly baked breads. There's limited seating so best to take it to go. We ordered a key lime tart and an apple pastry--it did not disappoint. Definitely worth checking out. Not to miss if you are downtown.

I picked up a couple biscuits, a load of sourdough and a hand pie. The hand pie was good, but the biscuit was actually kind of salty--and I'm someone who often used more salt than others might. I know Eugene has passed an ordinance against bags, but... everything is packed in its own bag and then I had to juggle three bags whilst trying to keep control of a toddler. I honestly didn't think to ask since it would seem obvious for THEM to ask if if want a bag in that circumstance. I feel like Noisette is just ok, and there are probably better bakeries in the area.

Service was fast and efficient. Not many smiles. Cute shop. Everything looked delicious but unfortunately was very dry.

This patisserie is a sight for sore eyes. Amazing baked goods, from sweet to savory, classic tarts to baguettes, and all very inviting. On a day with lovely weather, the doors open up inside to let in fresh air, with seating inside and out. It made for a relaxing and pleasant breakfast. I don't recommend the coffee. But, the quiche, brioche danish, and tarts were great. Great looking baguettes that I hope to try very soon! We'll be back!

We arrived around 9 am on a Thursday morning, they had only one remaining almond croissant. The pastry itself was flaky and buttery but it had no frangipane inside or atop, and lacked the almond flavor and richness I expect in an almond croissant, so missed the mark in that regard but as a croissant it was made skillfully. We also tried the cinnamon orange roll and the kouign amman and both were buttery, flaky, and excellent. One daughter had the Bostock and it was good. The ambience is lovely, warm, lit up with daylight coming through the large windows, there are beautiful bouquets set about the shop. Staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. I would definitely stop in again when I'm next in Eugene.

I love the open kitchen and big windows! Their bakery looks like an art gallery. Everything is perfectly cooked and delicious ! I had a piece of quiche & an almond cupcake ! Yummmmmy. The service is usually pretty good unless they are busy baking !!!

This pastry kitchen has changed my life! I love bakeries, and it is pretty easy for me to find a reason to explore new-to-me-bakeries. Over 99% of the time will hover towards SWEET PASTRIES, and get something on the sweet side for things, almost always. But, as I was driving over there, I realized that I might be open to the idea of trying a savory pastry. I ended up with two- "The Goat Cheese Biscuit" and "Artichoke Heart, Kale, Leek & Gruyère Veggie brioche" and I split them each in half and shared with my hubby. THEY WERE LIFE CHANGING FOR SURE!! The Goat Cheese Biscuit had so much flavor, with the black pepper and everything, it was very, delicious! 10 out of 10. And, the veggie brioche was amazing also, I have never had anything like that before and it had so much flavor! Also 10 out of 10 for that. I got a Chocolate Hazelnut Croissant for my hubby, I didn't get to try any of it- but he said it was very delicious and well balanced, with a good hint of hazelnut presence. I had the Chocolate Chip Cookie for my self, because I am a basic B - it is one of my favorite type of desserts and it is a good way to get a true judgement of a bakery based on how well they do the simple stuff. The cookie was good, with a really good buttery flavor. IT was a little more crisp than I prefer, I like them more softer & chewier. So, I would probably choose a different sweet pastry for me next time I go, but they have a huge selection, so it will be fun to try different things- like a "Cardamom Snickerdoodle Cookie" that was really tempting! THe pastries were amazing, 100 out of 100 for all, and the service was nice, very quick and helpful, and a really comfortable vibe. I look forward to coming back here more in the upcoming months!

We sampled the pumpkin coffee cake, croissant, sausage handpie, and palmier. We also had an Americano and dirty chai. All of the pastries were good quality. The pumpkin coffee cake had a nice cinnamon sugar topping and candied nuts inside, and even though there were only a few chocolate chips I did feel like it could have done without the chocolate chips but perhaps that's personal preference. We got the sausage handpie warmed up and it was nice and toasty on the outside but the inside could have been hotter and we didn't taste any cheese so it was a bit dry despite that the menu said it contained Gruyère. The handpie did have an excellent crust. The croissant was perfect, with the crisp exterior and soft, flaky center. Have not yet tried the palmier but they are gorgeous and I have no doubt they will taste just as good as they look. The Americano was excellent, not sure what brand of coffee they use but it was tasty. The dirty chai that my partner had was not at all sweet nor very hot but perhaps we needed to order it with more sweetener. The service was very friendly, patient and quick. I appreciated the many plants offering some greenery in the space. It was not particularly cheap but I wouldn't expect it to be as an artisanal bakery, it was between $3-8 for pastries but the dirty chai expectedly set us back a few with the espresso, syrup, and soymilk additions.

Cute bakery with lots of cute plant decor. We stopped by for some pastries and coffee for a late afternoon snack. So many yummy pastries to choose from. We had the peanut butter chocolate hazelnut cookie, lavender lemon tea cake, brownie and flourless chocolate cake. My favorite was the brownie, cookie was also really good. The drip coffee was also strong and complimented the desserts. The owner and staff were really friendly and helpful. We will be back again to try their croissants, breads, and other bakery items.

Don't skip this part when you drop by. A friend warned me that Saturday market was happening so parking might be difficult but the 30 minute and one hour slots in front of the bakery are very helpful. I ordered a 20 ounce Matcha with water, a 20 ounce iced black black tea infused with vanilla bean -- it's incredibly refreshing! -- and one of their amazing freshly squeezed orange juices. It's a bakery to be sure but don't let that fool you: the beverages here are just THAT GOOD. One drink doesn't feel like it's going to be enough... and in my experience, it's usually not. There are staff are all very helpful...there but today one young woman stood out fif only I could remember her name!) but she has glasses with hair tied back and was going through the line taking orders to ensure that customers were greeted and welcomed and had a chance to place their orders in advance. Their jalapeño biscuits are outstanding -- don't skip the honey butter... it deserves to be slathered on -- and if you're looking for comfort food, try their banana bread loaf or their zucchini bread. One more thing that I find really wonderful here: at 2 o'clock there espresso goes on sale. Yes. You heard that right. So for those of us who feel that coffee should happen all through the day... This is your place for an espresso deal.

Palace Bakery (now known as Palace Coffee Roasters) is has been around Eugene for decades, but I've…read morenever actually been here until recently. When I was growing up we didn't really visit bakeries, I don't drink coffee, and my mom was a black coffee only sort of person, so not really much need. Whilst visiting Saturday Market I stopped in with my tired, grumpy toddler to get her a hot chocolate. I got myself one too, and it was excellent. The whipped cream especially was nice; I am positive it's made from heavy whipping cream and it was so yummy I just wanted to eat some whipped cream. I know my kiddo enjoyed hers, especially if the state of her face and clothes was any indication. I've had a lot of hot chocolate, including from Mindy's in Chicago which many like to claim as the best (it's good, but honestly a bit too thick for me), but I think Palace may have the best. The secret is that they use ganache for their hot chocolate. It's the ganache that they sell in the shop, so it's easy to acquire. The staff member mentioned that she likes to dip strawberries in it, and she said they keep it in the fridge and it stays good for a while. I'm not sure I'll pick some up this time since we're heading into the warm weather months, but we'll be getting some (or having my sister send some) as we move into autumn for sure. I will say that if you get hot chocolate you will need to check work--TWICE I asked for whipped cream, at two different visits, and they didn't put any on (though they left space for it, so either fill it with chocolate or add the cream please). I was planning to get a maple bar here, but when I saw them changed my mind--they didn't look particularly appetizing. They had several other pastries though so it was an easy swap out for a kouign amann, my favorite pastry, and a marionberry strudel. Both were great. The marionberry strudel was particularly special since marionberries are more tart blackberry variant native to Marion County, Oregon; marionberries are rarely found outside Oregon, and if so not much beyond the border states. It was overflowing with marionberry and hit the spot, and my little one was a fan too. There was a good amount of seating, too, spread across two rooms. There's an entrance both from the Park Street side and Pearl; on the west side you'll get to see the bakers hard at work. They had some huge breakfast burritos that looked really good, but since I wasn't heading home immediately we took a pass on them--this time. Parking is street only, though it's not unlikely that you'll find parking on Pearl, Broadway, Oak, or Park.
