Well. I spoke up for the first time over a mistake that the technician made today like everyone tells me to and it blew up in my face. The wrong pink was chosen for a base and it was like Barbie pink and supposed to be close to a nude. The first coat you could not tell how pink it was but I said it was fine. Which is my mistake. However I'm going to a corporate conference and the pink combo with the design was going to get me in trouble and I voiced my concern. Someone came up and asked me about it and HE told her to redo them and she threw a massive fit and was really aggressive with me and making rude comments the entire time. She cut my finger while she was throwing a fit. Then when was done sarcastically said "do you like". I even told the guy that she did a really good job the first time and that they didn't have to redo them but I was worried I'd have to have them taken off because of it. I was even still going to tip because the lady who did my pedicure didn't deserve to be screwed out of a tip because of the other ladies behavior. I asked if I was supposed to pay Venmo because of the Venmo sign and he yeah let's do that. He last min had her change the service from $95-$115 to add a manicure that I did NOT get. That was really shady. Not too stressed though because that was what I was expecting to pay with tip. The poor other lady though who did my pedicure. It's sad how unprofessional someone can be and ruin it for everyone else. So ladies don't speak up if you don't like it. You'll get over charged and yelled at. Picture shows where she cut it. Ive been here 3 times in the last 2 months and each time the price goes up! today it was $60 for an acrylic nail fill- last time it was $50- she said it was because she had to file my nails! the polish job was sub-par-it needed anothr coat to look nice... don't waste your time!! They are sloppy and the salon is filthy. Find a clean reasonable place that doesnt change the prices each time! read more

This place is terrible for my natural nails. I had to tell the "manicurist" not to use the big acrylic file on my natural nails. She wanted to go back and forth on my nails (instead of in one direction) and then she filed the top of my nails as if she was going to apply acrylics! So now I have rough nails. Yikes! If you even think for one second to step foot into this salon.. TURN AROUND. I have never felt more unsanitary and unappreciated. They did not sanitize their utensils between customers, had a kid working who they were teaching to paint my nails while on the spot and did not follow the 6ft rule WHAT SO EVER. A few weeks ago I had my nails painted at Noire. I was a walk-in so they had the elderly man do my nails. My toes were fine, but my fingernails were a mess. He basically globbed it on without waiting long enough between coats. He was also unfriendly, rather rude, and very impatient. He stepped out to smoke before he was done with my nails. By the time I got home, seven of my nails were smudged. I had to just remove the polish. I went there once before and had no problem, but had a different manicurist. read more

Christine is the BEST!! I've been all over Spring Hill trying to find someone that does a decent job with the dip powder nails. This place is it! I didn't have to ask her to correct anything. She even did a cool trick to make my nails look slimmer. They're reasonably priced compared to the area. It's $45 for a set of the dip powder nails and $50 for ombré. I've paid between $40 to $55 at other places In the area. Honestly, I don't mind paying $5 more for someone to do a good job! read more

I work in Nashville and have lived in Thompsons Station for 20 years and have tried many nail salons in Middle Tennessee. This is the BEST nail salon. I've been at least 10 times from 10 am opening to mid day to last appt and always 5 star service from each person! The owner is always present and attentive, the salon is immaculately clean, everyone is always so friendly and professional and there are so many choices of services. My last two visits have felt rushed and stressful. I'm not given time to look through the books and make a selection. I'm sat down with one hand being drilled and the other soaking while I'm told to scrub my nails in the bow. I'm then asked what color I want.. but I haven't had time to look and make a choice. THE WORST PEDICURE I HAVE EVER GOTTEN IN MY LIFE. Went in for pedicure and manicure on 4/16. Planned on doing the most luxurious pedicure they had and a dip manicure for my birthday. She got started on the pedicure and I knew I had screwed up by coming here. I thought it was the same as the Brentwood location due to name and font...it has no association what do ever. It is currently 5/10 and my feet are STILL recovering from this place. Pretty sure I got some sort of fungus thing, the place was filthy including their tools ans they reused a lot of the same stuff on people. She cut one of my toenails in half and it bled for days. Also used a pumice stone across the tops of my toes like a nail file and I cringe just thinking about it. I flinched and pulled away and she just kept going harder making my toenails rough and broken up and the skin raw. Almost forgot to add that she "massaged" my legs by lightly rubbing an exfoliating scrub over them for what seemed like forever...apparently that was the "luxurious" part I payed for. Probably lost 5 layers of skin. It literally stung when water got on them for days. Seriously have nightmares from this place. Oh also she had to have a translater for very simple words to a point I don't think she knew a single word of English and totally disappeared along with everyone else when she was finished. I sat there clueless and considered just walking out. Decided not to get a manicure and then translating woman practically attacked me wanting answers as to why not. read more

DO NOT GO HERE SAVE YOURSELF just like the other comments Christine is great the only reason I have come back to this place when she does my nails But recently have been flagging on appointment times and services but there have been also different things that have gotten sloppy and against health codes which is very concerning. Not only did I have loads of acetone in my pedicure bowl as he was doing my nails to soak them off for the new dip powder I was cut for the second time on a pedicure this time my leg that was scrubbed so hard from the pumis they use in a hard hard brush over the tops of my feet. When I mentioned this happens again they just brush it off and and the guy even tried to say I came in with it which we couldn't believe me and my friend just sat there dumbfounded first time I was like OK they tried to fix it but they did not comp me for anything and I ended up paying and I tipped very well when this happened a second time I had to say something I told him I was not paying for that I would pay for my nails the owner harassed both me and my friend and we had to call the cops on him the cops couldn't believe what had happened. It's sad this place had potential but do not trust dirty salons nasty owners and people not appreciative of your time and money. Not worth it !! read more

I'll never go back again. Here's why: The owner is just out-and-out rude. Kristen is very good at what she does but she is always late for her appointments. I make an appointment.....first time she was 10 minutes late next time 20, next time almost 35 minutes late. Also when I make an appointment to get a pedicure from her, she hands me off to someone else that doesn't do a good job. the last time I paid almost $150 to get nails and toes done for vacation my toes were peeling up the very next day, by day three most of them or either cracked or peeling off. Two of my nails also broke off and they weren't very long. Kristen is talented, but I think the owner is a jerk and he rushes her and makes her give away her pedicure appointments to the other ladies that are not good at all. I noticed she was careful about sanitation (dropped instruments on the ground and did not pick them up to use on me). Also, noticed pedicure bowls are lined with plastic for each use. Their technical skills are severely lacking for SNS/dip nails. Tried them 2 separate times, with 2 different people, and came away with poorly shaped nails and gloppy, bumpy SNS application. The higher cost is just not worth it. You're not getting a higher quality, spa experience either. The first person who did my nails, "Tiger" had a cold and kept wiping her nose with her bare hands. Of course, I got sick, too. The second time I went, "Holly" barely spoke to me and chatted and laughed in another language with the technician next to her. Just plain rude. read more

Nice set up, but as soon as I walked in the building one of the workers got up with their phone and was on FaceTime with someone with the phone flipped towards me! I was like "y are you recording me!?" My first thought was to leave but they seated me as soon as I realized she was recording me! I do not like being profiled as a black woman and I feel like that was their intake on me walking in. Mind you I'm new to the area and I just need to find a good fit for me and this was already starting off bad. I don't think they're used to people of color coming in for service. The lady did a pretty good job with my mani pedi but the underlying insults in between were no fun! I honestly never get manicures so my hands are really rough from working. And she hassled next to get something extra or more expensive so I let her do her thing. Every time she finished my cuticles she would say "look at that!" Like I'm black so of course my cuticles cut dark! TF AND when she went to wipe my arm a little dark smudge came off lol and I got the same response from her like I'm dirty or something! I just came from shopping no telling what that was but I'm freshly showered so don't play me! I will never come back because of that. I had a pleasant experience here and would definitely recommend to others! I walked in with no appointment and only waited 5 minutes before sitting down with a nail tech. Henry did a great job with my gel manicure. He was very thorough and took his time to make sure my nails were perfectly manicured and polished. They also offer complimentary beverages. Best gel manicure I've had in years. The prices are the same as anywhere else, very reasonable. Super clean and inviting atmosphere. The only thing that could have made it a 5 star experience would be a little more positive interaction with the customers, only a few spoke broken English so communication was a little difficult.
