The book also advertised colors in a particular way that did not translate to the dip color I picked out - what was supposed to be a rosey mauve was more coral, so she colored it with a darker shade of gel that is still very far from what their display nails depicted. All in all, I feel like my nails look sloppy and far from what I envisioned. It is a bummer to keep driving to Franklin for a manicure, but this did not feel worth the time or money. The nail techs were kind, but I experience far better attention to detail at the one I go to normally (but my regular nail tech is currently out of the country).

The lady who did my nails talked me into cutting my cuticles back then she put lotion on my hands and barely rubbed it in. I guess it was supposed to be a hand massage? Anyway, those two things doubled the price of my soak off and clear regular polish. My total was $30.... Such a rip off.
