Just dined here tonight and the food was absolutely wonderful! Started with the calamari, it was pretty good but have had better although the sauce it comes with is wonderful! For entree's we had the Osso Bucco, filet mignon, shrimp and grits, & short rib ravioli. All dishes were perfectly cooked and so flavorful! We ended with dessert which we never do. Wow! What a great find! A friend & I were near the Tanger Outlet Mall and we were looking for a bite to eat. The area is saturated with chain restaurants and fast food options. Down the road a few minutes brought us to Noble Roots. Tucked away with a strip mall and business park, I did not have high expectations. Connected to the entrance to some high end townhouses, this place is perfect for locals. Walking in we loved the artistic decor, self serve wine option and the connection to Wisconsin (since we are both from America's Dairyland). After chatting it up with our incredible server, we learned the Chef and Owner are from our favorite Midwest State. The Chef learned we were in-house and came to our table to discuss all the details of Wisconsin Supper Clubs. We tried the Wisconsin Cheese Curds but chided him about the Wisconsin Old Fashioned cocktail made with whiskey. We teased that anyone from Wisconsin knows that an Old Fashioned is made with brandy and he shared his trouble securing brandy in Georgia. We laughed and thoroughly enjoyed our walk down memory lane with our Wisconsin Chef in Georgia. Our food was delicious and our wine and cocktails were tasty. The prices, quality and quantity were fantastic. They even have a cute gift shop area too! My friend lives in the area and plans to bring her husband. I said I would definitely return on my next visit to my friend's house. The Chef told us to let him know when we are coming in. I can't wait to hear how much my friend's husband loves Noble Roots. 1st time visit for a date night. The ambience is unique & upscale but also inviting. The bar and wine area are really beautiful with a large selection of wines. We ordered the red snapper and New Orleans pasta. Both were delicious; my fish was fresh, cooked perfectly and his handmade pasta was full of andouille with huge shrimp! We haven't been here for dinner or brunch yet, but we stumbled upon this Pooler gem on New Year's Eve and instantly fell in love. The owners are absolutely amazing. They remembered us when we came in again for drinks while we were celebrating my partner's birthday. The winds bar concept is a great addition to Pooler. We've opted for bottles of wine here- as they are priced well. We keep saying we need to go back for brunch, we ran into one of the chef one night, and he had the same energy as the owners. This place gives sophisticated neighborhood vibes, and I love that for Pooler, LOL. I don't always want to go downtown and be bombarded with tourists, and sometimes Tanger is a bit to much. This place is really nice, and you won't be out of place for dressing to the nines for a laid back date night, girls night, or solo date. I have nothing bad to say. This Noble Roots dinner evening was selected for a group of eight outing, as their menu has more than the usual amount of meal options for to fulfill whatever dietary needs you may have. Salads, chicken, fish and steaks are all available here. Parking is spacious as the restaurant is surrounded by plenty of free spaces. One of the unique features here are their two, self-serve wine bars. They provide sixteen wine choices for you to purchase while you pass your time at the restaurant. After obtaining a wine glass from the bar, you select the wine and the serving size, insert your credit card, and your desired liquid refreshment is dispensed for your enjoyment. My menu selection for the evening was the Noble Salad (mixed greens, roasted peaches, goat cheese, sweet peppers topped with a pecan vinaigrette) and a sharable vegetable plate. This was my first time eating the Noble Salad and it was delicious. Others in the party purchased crab cakes, filet mignon and scallops. Everyone was more than satisfied with their choices, food taste and serving size. The noise level was low enough for everyone at the table to hear each other clearly. I can't say good enough things about this restaurant!!!! My friend has been here couple of times but this was my first! Our waitress was super friendly and helpful when it came to explaining the wine bar which was the coolest thing I have ever seen! I love the fact you can get a sample and if you want a bigger glass then you can order that size. I tried one drink and fell in love with it! (Fritz Zimmer Riesling Spatlese). I believe my wine only cost $9. My friend got two glasses a wine but sampled a couple but they were very cheap sample prices. For dinner I ended up getting the special burger I believe it's just called the special burger but it was created by Chef Alexander Mack. I would LOVE to go back and try another one of his creations! Another really nice addition to Pooler. I don't drink wine but the idea behind the wine bar is pretty cool. They've got a full bar and some nice cocktails. Place is really relaxing with super comfortable chairs. Got the cheese curds as an appetizer and they are sooo good, don't think I'll ever come here and NOT order them lol. My meal was the noble burger and it was very good, I'd give it a 8/10. Only complaint would be that you can't add bacon on it . Overall it's a nice place that's just slightly expensive but worth it for sure. Look forward to my next visit here. read more

Really interesting place! A selection of wines, you get a card and insert it over the wine you want and it displays the price for 2, 4 and 6 ozs. We enjoyed the roasted beet and spinach salad with Peruvian sauce. It was EXCEPTIONAL and I highly recommend. Also enjoyed the red snapper over sweet potato mash with grilled asparagus. Really good. The service was on point -- attentive but giving you time and VERY friendly. You are made to feel that they are very happy you are there. Chef Christopher graced our table for a bit and we learned a lot. He was a lot of fun and we enjoyed his visit to our table. Entrees: can't remember anything good or bad, but we ordered a sweet potato casserole that was not edible. Dessert: crème brûlée....dont recall one way or the other so it must have been good I do intend to visit in the next few months...as for my business, I'm a federal contractor. Came to Pooler to visit a close friend during July 4th weekend. She's been in the area about 6 months now and had visited this place a couple times. She said the vibes, wine and food were really good, so we decided to give it a try. Upon walking in, we were immediately greeted and lead to our table. The ambiance is gorgeous! As soon as we got to our table, the mural caught my eye. For one, it's my absolute favorite color and it was just a very awesome play on the restaurant name. The wall art was another eye-catcher. As we made our way over to the wine wall, where you are given a card to make your selection(s) of various choices of wine. Such a cool concept! Hubby and Patrick (the owner) chopped it up a bit about the idea and other things. We made our wine selections and made our way back to the table to finally order. We chose the gator bites and chips salsa queso starters. I've eaten my share of gator bites and these were the most tender and flavorful I've had ever! I will not give their secret but I will say you must try! After we enjoyed two servings of those gator bites, I ordered the crab cakes; Hubby ordered the Panamanian Cobia as did our friend and her daughter ordered the wings and fries. When our food arrived, I'll be honest and say I did not expect the make potatoes to have any flavor because they looked like bland potatoes but oh was I shocked by the flavor explosion. The Cobia had a nice flavor as well and was done well. I'm sad that they aren't close but I'm excited that when I visit her again, we have a place to go enjoy good food, good wine and great company. Went here last night. Just me so sat at bar. Ordered the short rib ravioli for like 36 bucks. The chef came out and was asking people how everything was. He asked me and I hesitated. He said, "What's the matter?" I explained that I thought the ravioli would be stuffed with short rib. Instead, I got a shirt rib and pasta ribbons. He shook his head and said the ravioli must have exploded while boiling. He said he would bring 2 more because he wanted me to be jumping out of my seat with enthusiasm. He brought two more. At that time, a woman asked us what we needed. She sat us and brought us flatware and napkins. The waitress was very courteous and accommodating. Food is a little pricey for Pooler area, but I also get that they are bringing the quality and food standards of downtown Savannah to Pooler. I think it is worth it. The vegan burger was delicious. There is no worst dining experience than being seated and then seeing the tables around, which were seated after you by some 30 minutes, receiving their meals even though you ordered prior to their arrival. That was our experience tonight. It wasn't our waitress fault as she kept swinging by to update us that she is checking on our meals. 90 minutes later, we received our meals. My husband and I went to try this place out after a friend recommended it. The cheese curds were missing the cheese, all we got was a shell of greasy coating and a ball of cheese under them on the plate. I also had to go to the bathroom to get paper towels because I was never brought the napkins I asked for. My husband asked for a medium rare ribeye, it was almost grey inside , over cooked. I enjoyed the Lobster Ravioli and the wine, but my husband never got asked if he wanted another beer. Service was poor. Absolutely delicious! Every dish we had was on point. The Calamari starter had so much flavor! I had the New Orleans Pasta and for the price it is a large portion. My favorite was the Noble Wedge Salad, I couldn't stop eating it. To end the meal I had the Biscoff Crème Brûlée and it had to be the best dessert I've had.
