Every time I read a publication that touts a place as having the "best bagel" I think to myself, "it's a bagel. They're all the same". Well, it's taken until now for me to finally learn that they're not all the same: Noah's Bagels are not as good as Barton's Bagels and I feel confident in that statement. I was a bit put off by the fact that Noah's didn't have salt bagels, my favorite and opted instead for an "everything" bagel, lightly toasted and served with their shmear that (supposedly) contains onions and chives. Everything about this order was middling. Neither bad nor good, and if there were any onions or chives in that shmear I couldn't taste them. Based on this single bagel I'd say that Noah's version is airier than the bagel from Barton's. Between that and the flavorless shmear I learned my lesson: all bagels are not created equal. Noah's was adequate but as I rode my bike past Barton's en route home I couldn't help wishing I'd been willing to wait. read more

This was my first time stopping in Greenbrae for a bite and I was very disappointed when they rejected to serve me because I didn't have a bill smaller than a $50. I guess it's their "policy", which i understand but I have never been rejected for anything less than $100 dollar bill. I really didn't like the vibe in that restaurant or quite frankly the whole shopping complex. This town seems to lack culture and mannerisms yet the entitlement is thriving! Very weird vibe out there if you don't match the picture perfect description. Safe to say I will not be coming back or recommending this restaurant to anybody. P.S. I contemplated writing this review solely because I truly love Noah's and have been enjoying their delicious breakfasts since 2016. However, it must be noted that food quality and service at this location has declined exponentially. Petaluma location might be the way to go. Note they no longer carry honey, and only offer artificial sweeteners for your morning coffee. Coffee tumblers are empty and you have to ask the main desk to brew you some more. Challah recipe has changed and is doughy, eggy and flavorless. And if you were thinking of asking for your order to be remade or getting some type of help, be prepared to be met with annoyance and dry responses. Only warm and welcoming person was the lady at the front desk who took my order - thus the two stars. read more

Just no! I went in one day after my workout; it was during their rush hours, and I didn't mind waiting. I waited 20 minutes, and I asked the tall Black guy if my order was almost ready, as my name wasn't on the queue anymore. He said he had handed it out already, and someone else grabbed it apparently. He told me he would remake it, and I was okay with that. He never remade the bagel since he was distracted by his friend. As he kept asking him what kind of bagel he wanted and how many and what he wanted on it. Mind you, they had a line, and all the tickets were red. He was chatting it up with him, and then they sent him on break. I never saw him communicate to anyone that I was waiting on a remake of a bagel. I waited just in case he did tell someone, and I didn't want to wait any longer, as I waited 45 min for a bagel with cream cheese. It's absolutely insane how bad their communication with one another is. I work in customer service so I understand it's hard remaking something when you're already behind In ur queue. I was super egg-cited to enjoy my two egg, Santa Fe egg-wich sandwich this morning I picked up at/around 6:25am in Greenbrae. My first bite was a strand of human hair, egg, cheese, and bagel. WTH?! The hair forced me spit out my initial bite; I immediately lost my egg-citement, got nauseated, and stopped enjoying my breakfast. Disappointed about the quality of my two egg sandwich. I was impressed by the excellent customer service from Jacqueline (I believe that's her name). Her great personality and laughter during our brief chat stood out to me because most of us are stressed out due to the pandemic myself included. She is still going to work though so I want to give her kudos. There weren't many bagels left in the case by the time I arrived. I wanted to get a Baker's Dozen and I let Jacqueline know I tried calling earlier to place an order over the phone. Come to find out I couldn't get through because they were busy and couldn't answer some calls. I inquired about placing an order for pickup and Jacqueline said she strongly encourages people to do so. She made sure my order was accurate and would be ready for pick up the following morning. I picked up my order without a hitch. Thank you for your hard work and dedication especially during these uncertain times. I look forward to ordering more bagels soon. read more

I hate to write this review because the food is good from here but the customer service is genuinely horrible. Not a single member attempts to give a simple hello or smile. Dude with the glasses has been there forever and is extreamly rude, rushes you, and is very inattentive. None of the employees seem like they want to be there and it feels off putting having to wait for food in here alone. On another note. On multiple cases when I have ordered off DoorDash, they take insanely long. I ordered a single BLT sandwich and I live 7 minutes away. I didn't get my food until two hours later. Overall, the service is extremely unacceptable and I'm surprised employees and management haven't been adjusted after how many complaints I've seen. HORRIBLY DISAPPOINTED!! I went at 10:30am and the coffee was marked as being made at 10am but they were practically empty and cold! The cream dispensers were empty, and the sugars were a mess. I got a toasted bagel with cream cheese that when given to us was barely even toasted. Also a barely warm breakfast burrito. Everyone working seemed busy and I wasn't going to cause a scene over the lack of hot coffee, but the cold food... really? We waited about 10 minutes for what? If I had read the reviews in advance, I would not have placed a large order for a company party. However, despite a couple minor glitches the food was ready on time, the party was a success and the food was banging. The issues we experienced for the order, which was placed online, were 1. No confirmation email for the order, and 2. No mention of the closing time of the business in the checkout process. Fortunately we arrived just as they were locking the doors (at our pickup time) and although it took some loud knocking and reiterating to the young woman inside that I was there to pick up an order, she finally let me in. Once inside, employees were in a bit of a state of disarray (I think they're mostly new) but they were all pleasant and a nice young man helped bring the food to our car. I did receive a follow-up email from corporate thanking me for my order and I replied to them stating my concerns and suggestions. Staff training 101: someone walks in the door, especially when there's no one else in the entire place, you smile, and say "hello may I help you?", not hide. Then when I get your attention, say something, don't just stare. I finally ask the young woman with no affect if she'll take my order. I ordered a sandwich with 3 ingredients. Had to "explain " my order 3 times. Took it and a coke to go and the sandwich was prepared wrong. There's more , but suffice to say I'll never be back. Also, instead of the Business Manager responding to all the bad reviews asking to make it right so you'll redo the review, how about improving the food, service, etc? These bagels are something different. They're pliable, and they rip when you bite in the most doughy, satisfying way. And they're great when paired with egg and other savory lunchtime toppings too. I'm super surprised by all the bad reviews! I thought the staff was really friendly and the line moved quickly. The bagels were exactly what I was expecting - good and affordable. The coffee was good too with options to add cream and sugar at a separate counter. I will definitely come back, especially with the location being so central. You're going to a bagel shop that has really quality yummy food, not to an actual restaurant, not to your therapy sesh, not to a medical office. If you want extra cream cheese on your bagel, order it that way. No establishment is perfect and you probs have no idea what is going on in a person's life that could be making things run a little slower than you think they should at times, but come on, people, stop taking out your miserable life and bad day on Noah's Bagels. The bagels are excellent. Perfectly chewy, soft texture and freshly baked daily. My fave sammie is the Santa Fe. It's soooo tasty! I also used to love their garlic cream cheese, but they no longer have that. I love their chocolate chip bagel! Their potato salad is delish. Any of their special bagels like the cheesy ones are incredible too. Also everyone working there has always been super nice to me! Someone wrote in the reviews "Discourteous service". I couldn't have said it better. It's the second time someone was rude to me. I let it go the last time as the lady may have been busy. My big mistake today was to ask if they had any garlic bagels. First, he went like: "What?", so i repeated: "garlic bagels". He responded in an unfriendly way, like if i had come from another planet: "We stopped carrying those years ago." He could have said 1: "I'm sorry, i didn't understand you. ", 2. The service is very mediocre. The food is actually pretty good. They have decent bagels. It's a corporate chain store so they have a good consistency in a good brand. However, whoever is running this location is really dropping the ball on bathroom Maintenence. The bathrooms been out of order for over eight months. Like in Koran they wrote like backwards letters like the bathroom is broken. We went in for bagels at 10:15, and there was a massive crowd. So we ordered two bagels toasted with cream cheese at 10:20 after waiting in line. The crowd finally cleared up and everyone got their food at was gone by 11am and we were still there waiting for our two bagels. We expected the wait cause of the crowd but when we asked the status of our order, they didn't even submit it into their system. So we had to wait 5 more minutes before we finally got our bagels. Can't believe McDonalds is better than what has become the decline of a once fav bagel shop.
