They installed color changing lights in the hot tub and pool that were synchronized. They installed a sea horse and baby, my wife's request, on the steps of the re-done pool. You won't find a better pool contractor than No Problem Pools. Luis is the owner and he's extremely attentive, honest and talented. His team has been cleaning my pool in Gilroy since 2014. In 2015 we had him replace my pump with a variable speed and a new heater. Just last week we had him replaster the pool with Stonescapes Aqua Blue mini pebbles. Luis never pushed any of this work on us. In fact, he's the most conservative contractor I've ever dealt with. He's honest and does fantastic work. BUYER BEWARE A friend who is too ashamed used them to replaster a pool. Went with the cheapest bid. Worked weekends only. Looks like this company has trucks but no regular employees in house to do the work. Well, it looks it. Now is trying to get ahold of them about the rough areas and discoloration. I was not please with the communication of this business at all. Online they offer $150 Spa cleaning and refill and $100 monthly (weekly) services. I had to ask 3 different times to the price I saw on the web instead of $120/month. When they refilled the Hot Tub they added too much water but the water and tub looked nice and clean. I was still billed the wrong amount, so I called them up again and it's always an answering machine which can get annoying. They gave me the promised $100 deal but I canceled because I was annoyed with the lack of Professionalism, meaning communication, misrepresenting prices and not even sending any form of contract. I switched to a different service for only $80/month instead. They specialize in Pools maybe that was part of the problem, not sure but I don't agree with the high star rating others gave this company. Sorry. read more

Had my 27 year old black bottom pool re finished.all new bottom and new tile. They here in the biggest storm of the year working on our Pool. Owner Luis will keep you informed great communication. No payment till you satisfied with job, ,,,, who does that.....? But goes with statement that you will be satisfied with job. Price good, and they come in and do job despite weather" Negatives: Make sure the grout on the rim of pool is redone! And that this is included in the price. Made a world of difference and was not initially included in price. Cost me another $250, but worth it. Added some tiled fish to the sides. If you do this fish need to be placed low on wall or the fish tiles will be washed out do to glare of water. read more

Excellent Company! I needed the caulking between the pool deck and coping replaced. The caulking isn't something you can buy at your local hardware store. So with that said, I emailed Luis at No Problem Pools on a Saturday. He responded early Monday morning. After a few more emails, we agreed on a time for the work to be performed. The Foreman, Ernesto arrived on time with 2 workers. I had already removed the old caulking, but they went over the area to make sure it was clean to their standards. They were a great team, worked together and did a phenomenal job. The joint looks better than when the builder installed the pool several years ago. Pool turned colors. Leslies is trying to sell me everything on the shelf after several " this is it" attempts. 2 other pool companies said I had to drain it n start over. I called these guys as they did a fiberglass repair for me before. and in a couple days the pool was beautiful. NO draining.... no massive amounts of chemicals......was just my leslies recommended filter was way to small. These guys use their brains unlike everyone else I talked to. Just had a pool built by this amazing company. I live in Campbell and it took a while to get a permit but once the permit was approved, my pool was done within weeks. Luis Is the owner who is professional, dedicated, and has a can-do attitude. His price was the best I received from three other bids. I had a ton of questions but Luis was patient enough to answer all of them. His foreman, Jesse is top notch. He assisted me with tile and pebble, gave me suggestions on the stairs for the pool, etc. He is extremely knowledgeable with pool construction and made sure I had the pool I always wanted. In addition, at the very last minute I decided to add a pool deck made of travertine. Jesse paved the deck in one week! They gave me state of the art pool equipment and programmed everything for me. They also provided me with a modem to hook up to my internet so I could download an app for my pool. I can control my pool from anywhere with this app (turn on my pool lights, pump, check the pool temp, etc)! I highly recommend Luis and Jesse. You'll be in GREAT hands with this company. For a weekly cleaning they do a good job at a reasonable price - but I don't think the cleaner ever adds anything more than 2 tabs of chlorine. I have to still get the water tested and have never gotten a correct answer as to the orange streaks on the side of my pool. I'm writing this because I recently experienced something truly exceptional in today's world. I contracted with No Problem Pools in December of 2011 to refinish and re plumb our existing pool. I got bids from two companies but selected No Problem Pools primarily because I was impressed with the owner, Luis Jimenez. As with all projects of this size, there were problems along the way. However, Luis was exceptionally attentive and responsive. As a result, these problems were quickly resolved and the project wrapped up in mid-February very close to expectation. My wife and I were very happy with the result and we and our 19 grandkids have made very good use of the pool since then. However, that isn't the exceptional thing I wanted to tell you about. When we redid the pool, we added a controller with a chlorinator. The unit came with a three year warranty but the chlorinator stopped working halfway through the second summer after about 18 months. I called the manufacturer's technical support line and have been in a running battle with them for the last year. Every time I called they would insist that I had a water analysis in hand that had been done by a professional. Then they would pick on one item that was slightly out of balance, and would say the unit wouldn't work right unless that item was brought into perfect balance. First, there wasn't enough chlorine in the water, then ph was too high, then ph was too low, then not enough conditioner, then phosphates were too high and on and on. I finally told them that was all complete nonsense and insisted they send someone out to check the chlorinator. At this point, they changed tactics and refused to send someone out unless I could produce the receipt. Of course, I didn't have the receipt since the unit had been installed by the contractor. I was about to give up but sent one last email with the contract documents showing that I had paid to have the unit installed and when it was installed. Still they refused unless I could produce the receipt. As an afterthought, I had copied Luis on that last email in the off chance that he might still have the receipts. Keep in mind that this was just two months shy of 3 years since I had contracted for the pool work. Luis called me the next day, intervened on my behalf with his supplier, and within a few days they had tested the chlorinator, determined that it wasn't working, and replaced it with a new one. After nearly three years, I had no expectation that he would respond and wouldn't have blamed him if he hadn't but he did and that was truly exceptional. Thank you Luis! read more

He knew we were in a time crunch, since we were expecting house guests, so he sent Jaime and Luigi to repair the leaks--one at the spa area and the other at the skimmer. I emailed No Problem pools about a problem with my Polaris cleaner moving very slowly, since Leslie Pool couldn't seem to find the problem. Luis was quick to respond to my email and called me back and said he was sure he could fix the problem and come out the same day. He showed up as promised, took the cleaner apart and found a hose had become disconnected. He then put everything back together and it works perfectly now. Luis even offered a lot of good honest advice to the questions I had, and he even dropped the price of his original estimate since the problem was relatively quick and easy to fix. Luis at No Problem Pools is the best! His team is amazing, and they completely restored my pool like new. It is beautiful. Luis is s great guy and I trust him. He invited us to his store to look at samples, and offered help with suggestions. His staff is very nice and professional. We went with the Tahoe Blue Pebble Tec, and they placed our new bull-nose coping. They also put in a new LED light, and all new equipment. The pool is like new. They worked very well with our landscape contractor and the project was, No Problem. His staff that resurfaced our pool work very hard, and are like machines. It is obvious Luis takes good care of them. I am so happy we used NPP, and I highly recommend them to anyone. There is always little problems, don't panic... Luis will fix any issues immediately.
