Update: the state licensing board has been contacted, Santa Clara county licensing board has been contacted for Luis taking advantage of an elderly woman. RUN FROM THIS COMPANY. Other pool guys have stated it was cut too wide, this is not my opinion, but stated by a professional guy. I have attached more photos of how bad this truly is. Luis failed to pull permits, which is against licensing laws in California and Santa Clara County. We have given Luis every opportunity to fix this, and he chose to bury his head in the sand. No integrity. Save your money and future problems

This company has inconsistent and terrible service. Every time I call, the attendant tells me she is checking in with the tech. My pool has been green for the last 6 weeks and I do not see any improvement. See pic. They are overpriced and terrible service whenever I call.

From initial installation to scheduled care to random maintenance, it's something out of a movie. Tonight put me over the edge. My daughter and her friends wanted to use the hot tub. It's been a 4yr circus with this company. Tonight, I had to disassemble the arm to open it (it was broken at one end and wouldn't open.) Then take the cover off and put it on the ground to let them all fit. Then, ask them to help me put the cover back on, and then reinstall the arm. I travel a lot so my return home and hot tub time is important to me. I also have a very bad lower back, so it is also therapeutic for me. Will post again when I get the timeline, service calls. And everything else listed. This hot tub is relatively new.

The whole process of calling out other subs to assist to make sure we had the correct electrical and pad to set the unit on was very easy to work with. They also went the extra distance of giving updates and then following up to make sure it was delivered to our expectations and performed as they said it would. This is our 2nd one purchased and I'm not going to bash the other company we purchased from but Paradise (Renee and Dale in particular) raised the bar for a great customer experience.

Don't be…read morediscouraged by a few one star reviews on here...look at the work he did and the FIVE STARS reviews from all of his clients, it speaks volumes. At first, when I called him, he said that his work is expensive. I felt a little uncomfortable and thought that how does he know how much I am willing to pay for this project. But then I realized that if someone who is brave enough to say such a thing, he must be good at what he is doing. Besides, I believe in "you get what you paid for". So I called him right back and explained to him what I wanted to do. He came to my house the next day and spent a good amount of time inspecting the property. He did not give me a quote but said it is not worth doing what I wanted to do. He gave me advise on alternative solutions and provided valuable information that I would not have known otherwise. After this experience, I feel like John is the only one that I would trust to do work for my forever pool. He takes pride on his work and once he takes on your work, you know he will turn your pool into a masterpiece.

I said that was fine and I would still be interested in getting at least a preliminary quote as we were kind of expecting that. He then started the whole well you might be better off calling the other guys because they are cheaper and I only do high end work thing...way to assume our project potential without even knowing our budget. I guess a gunite pool, spa, hardscaping and landscaping at a new homesite is too below him. I will take our money elsewhere.

Below is what I had sent to Paradise Valley Spa (PVS) on 4/9/2026…read more We had our Nordic D'Amour delivered on March 19th. That night we tried to use it but it kept shutting off. The next day we called Paradise Valley Spa (PVS) and they put in a service request. I also called Nordic and told them what the symptoms were and the customer service rep said that we needed a new pump and that if you didn't have one in stock that they could send one out and it would be here in a couple of days. The earliest date for service was March 30. The tech arrived on March 30 and said that we needed a new pump. When we scheduled the first appointment knowing that you are scheduling 2 weeks out we booked the second appointment for April 9th so that we could get this resolved quickly. What's upsetting is if Nordic knew by our symptoms that we needed a new pump why wasn't one sent out with the tech on his first visit? If we could have run through "tests" that could narrow the problem for you over the phone so that you would at least send a spare pump on the first visit which makes sense to me. I got a notice today, the April 9th that the tech is out sick and now our next date for service is April 16th a full four weeks since the tub was installed inoperative. This is totally unacceptable. I understand that your employee is sick but you must have more than one person doing repairs in the bay area, no? A company as large as yours should not be brought to it's knees because an employee is out sick. When we were looking at purchasing the spa it was between Paradise Valley and the Spa And Sauna Company on River St. in Santa Cruz. I looked at several reviews on your company and the other company. I noticed that the reviews on Yelp for your company really fault your company for poor follow-up service. Several people said that it takes weeks to get anything resolved. The other company got rave reviews for sales and service. Before we purchased the spa I brought my concerns up with the sales person in Capitola. She assured me that the issues with service were resolved and that getting service would not be an issue. Also, the sales person told us that the Frogease was included with our purchase. Before taking possession of the broken spa I read the manual for Nordic hot tubs. The manual specifically says that floating chemical dispensers would void the warranty on the shell. I even called Nordic and asked their customer service about the floating device and she said that it would void the warranty if there was any issue with the shell. To say that I'm displeased with the service that I have received and the time it's taking to get this resolved is an understatement. I am regretting doing business with your company.

All prior interior work in our house had been done by handyman. I really appreciated the communication from our project manager Marc. He created a WhatsApp chat with me and the incredible designer Jocelyn. They were both consistently responsive to any of my questions or concerns -- and opened my mind to design options. Jocelyn spent time in our home, drafted plans, took me shopping, and sourced all the fixtures. From her spreadsheet I was able to find less expensive options for some items. I appreciated the input and control I had on these expenses. Since we needed to move out, I had a tight timeline for the project -- mid October until Thanksgiving. Marc and the team did their best despite City of San Jose delays with inspections. We were able to move back in before the final inspection. Every member of the team was kind and courteous. Marc also did a great job working with the window vendor that specializes in older homes. I'm rating the experience a 4.5 out of 5 for two reasons. I was disappointed that the medicine cabinet, switch plates, and hooks were initially installed unevenly (it was corrected). I expected more attention to detail. And I was disappointed in the wear & tear that happened on my wood floors as well as the overall dust in my dining room. I was warned that things would get dusty -- but didn't understand the extent and would have packed away more things. WISE offers lots of support with design -- they could also offer as part of their package a full cleaning! I offer this feedback to help others calibrate their expectations. Overall it was a positive experience. I waited several months to post this review until I returned from travel and could see how things were settling after regular use. I'm loving the new bathroom and recommend WISE.
