After posting the first review the service manager contacted me via e-mail and apologized for dragging out the repair. The repair was done a few days later and the spa is working great. We are glad that we purchased the two person D'Amour SE with the more powerful pump. It's the perfect size for two people. We had barely a blip on our PG&E bill after having it for a month. When we did purchase it Renee worked with us on the pricing and we were happy with the sales part of the transaction. Tub purchase at local showroom was great. Over the years we have replaced 4 pumps, a few switches and two covers. There's always a $200 service call and of course they charge this $200 to return and repair. They refuse to schedule service until the parts are in the warehouse. Last time they transferred me to the basement to talk to the one employee that works in parts and he was out for almost two months so the service couldn't happen until he returned No one even mentioned this We have used the tub all of 10 times in 9 years and all it is is constant repairs read more

We had excellent customer service. Our salesperson took the time to explain all of the features of each brand of spa they sell. The delivery persons were very careful with the installation and did an overall great job. We are also very pleased with the "Covana" we purchased. It is a cover for the spa that looks and acts like a roof. It lifts straight up with an electric motor allowing use of the spa despite rainy or windy weather. We have also had excellent service when returning to the store to purchase chemicals. read more

March 2018 : Went to Paradise Valley Spas and purchased a Claremont Spa for $16,295. I was under the impression it would be delivered within the next week or so. The sales person said that they would "do their best" knowing full well that they were months out on deliveries. We waited months for our Spa and when we finally got it we discovered that they had delivered us a floor model (we did not purchase a floor model) and it was not packaged properly for shipping / delivery and had cracked in the process and was leaking. This was just wrong any way you look at it. We were promised a replacement and waited months again to have a new Spa delivered. It was finally delivered end of November (8 months after the original spa was purchased). The main reason I purchased this spa is the advertised feature of being able to turn it off and on and operate it remotely. This may sound like a luxury feature but it was important because my husband is BLIND and I was going to be able to operate the controls for him no matter where I was. This feature NEVER worked reliably. It turns out that many people have this problem yet they continue to advertise it as a feature. Today is July 27th 2021. It has taken me an entire year to get someone out to put an antennae system on the tub. The first antennae I ordered was reportedly "used for another customer". So I waited another 8 months. I was told the tech would install the antennae and help me get it set up on my iPhone. When he came and installed the antennae it would not connect on my iPhone and he threw his hands up and said, "I'm just a spa tech I don't do that internet stuff."..... To throw salt in the wound I've been paying monthly for the service of operating the spa remotely. I have never had such prolonged, repeatedly horrible customer service from any one company. I am just going to accept that the remote service will not work and hope nothing else goes wrong. I want to warn everyone I can that nobody in this company has handled any of the problems we've had with professionalism or kept to any of the deadlines they gave us. They are dishonest, chaotic, and have no sense of customer service. Go elsewhere... read more

After 2 faulty twitches are placed, wrong cover lift top deliver ! Striped screws by the technician. The technician also tried to fix the diverter jet with Plyers, which made it work worse than before. Now, customer service is ghosting me. They don't return phone calls or emails. Just completed the 2 hour placement and initial setup of our new Bullfrog A7L Spa! We ordered in Feb and got in line for production and delivery (supply chain is stretched!). What made this finally a great experience was the attitude and professionalism of Jorge and his crew of 3 others who carefully and steadily maneuvered the spa into position, steering it on skids through a garden down some steps over a wall onto the deck and then across the deck to its spot. From the time Jorge called to let me know he was coming to the final review of the delivery checklist it was a pleasure conversing with him and being around the sharp young men he leads. Paradise valley Spa. Do not expect accurate timelines or communication back regarding your hot tub. We began our process back in November. We're told by the sales associate February would be delivery of course with a down payment. Since that time the hot tub has been extended to Probable September. We were told June 3 hot tub was two weeks out. Then told Early August and now Sept. corporate had to be called to get any kind of response. Our contact switched three times with little to no correspondence and never a call back. Recommend Send your business elsewhere. The sales people are great and the tub arrived timely. However, the maintenance and service on the tub is frustrating and near impossible to get something fixed. We are waiting months. Two valves, a jet, the cover and lifter, and replacement issue with a water flow pillow. None resolved. Cannot communicate with a human and when the tech people finally arrive at my home, they have not been given the correct information and parts, so they need to reschedule again. Basically, less than three years in have a tub for over two years with unfixed issues. If I go outside Paradise Valley Spa to fix the tub with another service provider, Jacuzzi voids the warranty. If I go outside of Paradise Valley Spa the outside service person would need to go through Paradise VP to get the parts anyway. Frustrating, with multiple emails and phone calls. A very bad experience and a non fully functional tub. If you by Jacuzzi brand, you are locked into the service provider associated with the business that sold it to you. When spending this kind of cash, it should not be this difficult to get it repaired. Beyond that, why do so many parts break as often as they do? read more

First, they charge 100 bucks for a tech to come out no matter what. Then the tech advises me to spend 1000 on a new heater and pump. Still have problem and a call back doesn't get me the tech back. Now it looks like the pump failed- 6 months old mind you and they said it's past warranty. Yes- that means I may have to spend another 1000 to fix this. Do your self a favor buy a different hot tub- not sundance- and go to Dr Spa for repair. read more

2 months ago, I went in to buy a spa and was helped by Erin Allshouse. She was very pleasant and helpful while we chose our spa and all the fine details. We put down a $3000.00 deposit, so the process could get started on building our spa and for it to be shipped from several states away. 3 weeks later, she emailed me saying if we want to order the spa the full amount needed to be paid. Frustrated, because we were not told that initially as I would have paid in full if that was the case, I went ahead and went back to the location and paid in full and spoke to another employee as Erin was not working that day. Today, 2 months after the deposit was made I got a call from the headquarters wanting to do a site visit to ensure that the tub will fit and I went ahead and scheduled. I asked how the tub was coming along and that is when I was told, they hadn't even started the build, because they don't without a site visit. It's going to take another 6-8 weeks for the tub to be built and sent to us. Absolutely inept! If I had been told this process, we would have scheduled a site visit 2 months ago! DO NOT go to this location! Wish I had gone somewhere else, but now they have my money and yet I have no tub. read more

I wasn't able to resolve the issue over the phone so Josh, our sales rep at Paradise Valley Spas, suggested we have their service rep pay us a visit. Troy, of Paradise Valley Spas, came out to our house and answered all my questions and made some recommendations regarding maintenance and upkeep. I recently bought a Jacuzzi brand spa from Paradise Valley Spas on Clares St in Capitola. I've just come from a terrific early morning soak and after several weeks of ownership I decided to write my first Yelp review. Dora at Paradise Valley was extremely helpful and flexible with some of my requirements for installation and timing which frankly made all the difference. Dora was also very patient in explaining the various chemistry options and features. The installation was on time, and due to my very unique driveway and installation was a slight up charge from their otherwise free delivery. The delivery team was on time, careful of my surrounding property features, and efficient. The model I bought is the J355 which is roughly 7'X7'. I really like it because it's feels much larger than it's footprint, has multiple high and low sitting spots, and a lounge. The jets are very powerful and give a much better massage than other brands. It's quiet during filtering, always at the right temp, and super easy to configure and adjust. Another feature that I really like is the easy lift cover mechanism (this was a $100 up charge). The Jacuzzi 355 is now the third spa I've owned over a period of 14 years, and I've learned a couple things. First; powerful jets, that can be easily and seperately controlled is super important. Second: the granite like, neutral shell material and colors stays looking new and nice much longer than the dark, smooth, glossy colors. Third: The "Salt" based systems now being offered by some manufactures are BS, finicky and not nearly as nice as the mineral based system that my Jacuzzi offers. (Ask Dora about it, it's the best method I've used for hot tub sterilization, no chlorine/bromine smell, crystal clear water, and easy) Fourth: Wash your filters frequently and you'll have much better water quality. I give Paradise 5 stars but would give them 4.5 if I could, only because of price.... they're products are on the high end of the price spectrum. Jacuzzi is a premium brand and I do believe they are higher quality than most, but you can find a similar sized/featured spa elsewhere for cheaper at say Costco or some places in San Jose. Actually, I did buy a spa just 6 months before this one from a competitor that had so many problems they took it away and eventually refunded most of my money. I highly recommend Dora and Paradise Spas and highly recommend that anyone thinking of getting a spa do so. read more
