After doing some…read moreserious research on spas and deciding it was officially time to add one to our home, we chose Hot Springs based on their brand excellence and features that we wanted in a spa. We originally chatted with Chad, who was really personable and had lots of knowledge on spas overall. When we came in the second time, we worked with a lady (who's name I have forgotten) and she ended up selling us our salt system Sovereign tub. We ordered mid-August and took delivery end of October. She was great and walked us through each and every step. They do offer great financing deals, so keep an eye out for those. Pre-delivery was great. I worked with the ladies on the phone a few times to make sure my driveway was going to work. Delivery was fantastic, the guys were a well oiled machine. They gave us a great "quick how to" on our tub and worked great with our electrician. Look forward to continue working with Hot Springs Spas for when I need to buy chemicals inevitably.

Living on the Santa Cruz side of the hill, I found it really hard to find anybody to even come out and look at it. What is more, I was worried that, given its age, it would not be worth repairing. I even contacted the company that originally sold it to me, and they weren't interested in the business, but were happy to sell me a new one if I wanted. I contacted APPI after reading a positive review and they didn't disappoint. They came out that weekend, and to my horror, they discovered that a rodent had taken up residence in the foam and chewed through tubing and some electrical wires. I would not have blamed them if they had just said "Sorry, I think it is a lost cause", but he soldiered on through. What is better, the bill for the service was exceptionally reasonable. I was preparing myself for something around three times what he eventually charged. These guys are a good, hard working, honest bunch.

They had a great Memorial day Special/ 4th of July and we got our spa last summer. We had Tyson come up to do some adjustments today and he was so professional and courteous. We had a wonderful experience with him. Spas by the Bay has a great showroom with a lot of models. They took the time to explain how to use the chemicals and what would be a better system for us a salt vs chemicals. When I did my research, hot spring spas are the Mercedes of all spas. They have the best warranties and are the most energy efficient and less maintenance/more reliable.

We got a 2026 model Hotspring Jetsetter LX. Best hot tub I have ever been in, super quiet, powerful jets. We use it a few times a week. I was a bit concerned about the power needs of keeping it hot but the insulation is amazing and the heater only comes on for a few minutes every 4 or 5 hours (see the graph from my Tesla power management app). The top is very light but keeps in heat and also the water. Only had to add a bit of water after 3 months! Recommend this equipment and this vendor. I can't comment yet on their warranty service as the product has been flawless.

The work over these years included having the pool totally resurfaced, new waterline tiles, new plumbing and a new cartridge filter, variable speed pump, chlorine generator, heater, LED lights, deck jets and deck coping, new central drain, skimmer and I also had them install a 10' diameter in ground SPA. You can say I transformed my old pool into a modern day beautiful oasis on my property. All the work was done over the years in various stages and I will say that dealing with this long time family run business has been flawless and without any complaint. From the Father, Pierre, to his son Domenico and their professional crew, I tell you they are the very best to deal with. They are friendly, very capable, very responsive anytime I call or need them and very considerate of my yard landscaping as if it were their own. Their prices for any sales or service are fair and reasonable. I real value, in my opinion as compared to the other original estimates I received when I initially planned this project.
