Ramen with hard boiled egg
Mr B.

Order a bowl of Ramen which was a large size and very good. The broth was full of flavor and the noodles were fresh. I ofdered some steam rice and it was fresh and hot. Nice smooth taste, not fishy or any other strange taste you get at other places. I also ordered the garlic honey wings and yangyum flavored wings. The honey wings were a little to sweet for me, but fried perfectly. The breaded wings taste fantastic. The yangyum wings are a sweet & spicy flavor. These were really good. The service by Joey was great. I highly suggest stopping by for lunch or dinner.

It's like me to always order more than needed but when trying a new place family style is best and this place makes family style their style. The chicken being so crispy but juicy is probably some secret recipe lol. I got the chicken piled high with green onions, a creamy dressing, and loved it. Super casual spot, some soju is a perfect pairing. Worth the try, will need to try it again.

Honestly really disappointed with my experience here. The water I was given had food bits floating in it, which was really disgusting and immediately ruined my appetite. When I pointed it out to the waiter, she just said "Oh," got me another water, and said sorry. I understand mistakes happen, but I honestly expected a little more concern about the situation. When my wings came out, the way they were given to me felt like there was some attitude behind it, which made the experience feel even more uncomfortable and disrespectful. I still ate some of the wings, but by that point I honestly felt disgusted and disappointed and couldn't really enjoy my food. The cashier, however, was very sweet and was definitely the nicest part of my experience. Unfortunately, the dirty water and the way I was treated by the waiter really left a bad impression.

Ok... however they make the "Cr@ck Cheese" chicken... I'm addicted! To me, it's probably the best thing on the menu. I can eat that item ALL DAY. I also like the "Green Onion" item because well, I like onions! If you don't like green onions, DO NOT order this item because it's literally a big pile of it on top of chicken. Their fried chicken I thought was OK... taste like other Korean fried chicken places. I do not recommend ordering the "Oven Baked Chicken". I thought this was the worst item that we ordered. It was dry and overall didn't taste good.

This location is fantastic. I've been a very long time fan of the original location in Dallas. This one is s but roomier, staff is just as great, if not better. Truly have the best chicken. No 1 for sure.

We enjoyed our visit here. The service was great. They're all so sweet and answered all our questions. The portions are huge. We got the large size green onion chicken and we had plenty leftover. I tried some of my friends sampler platter. The flavors are okay. I didn't find a flavor I loved. We did get a side of the cheese powder and that was good. We did enjoy the fries combo. Overall our group liked it. We'll prob come back.

NO.1 Plus Chicken is hands down my top favorite Korean chicken spot in the DFW area! I loveeee getting the Yangnyeom chicken with extra rice cakes -- it's the perfect combo. The chicken is always crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and the portion sizes are super generous. I almost always end up with leftovers (which is a win because it tastes just as good the next day!). What makes it even more special is the owner -- she's incredibly sweet, and it was so nice getting to see her in person at this location. I've actually been a fan of this spot since middle school, so seeing her open more locations around DFW makes me genuinely happy. If you're craving Korean fried chicken, this is the place. Great food, great people, and a place that truly feels like a local gem. 10/10 recommend

Since Mike's is closed on Sundays, we went to the 2nd best in my opinion. But this time I switched up our orders. We usually get the Platter where you get to try all the flavors divided between a whole chicken. This time, we ordered the Original Fried Chicken (whole) while the crunch and tenderness of the freshly fried chicken, the chicken is lacking for me. I feel like it can't stand on its own without the sauces but I'm not expert on Korean fried chicken. This location have a more spacious feel compared to the OG location in Dallas. Service is nothing to complain about. If or when I come back I'd probably get it with sauces on the chicken again to really enjoy it.

First time for visiting this No. 1Plus chicken location, though I've been at the Dallas spot before once. This one has way more of space, which is a big plus for groups or and dine in. The menu is still the same, with famous Korean fried chicken as its main. We ordered a whole Original Fried Chicken to share, with sides of fries and steamed rice. The rice, unfortunately, never made it to the table. But at least they were quick to remove the charge from the bill. The chicken is fresh and cooked with that signature crunch on the outside and juicy meat inside. However, I wasn't much of a fan of that powdery "spicy" seasoning it I was hoping for a well marinated(as the menu describes it) in which the chicken could stand on its own without the spice dust. Still, not an entirely bad visit overall, particularly if you're into crispy Korean-style fried chicken.

Hands down one of the best Korean fried chicken I've had!! The chicken is fried well and skin is super crispy and batter is not thick, just nice really. You can have it fried original or with different sauces. The combo options are great. Fried mushrooms and fried mandu are also good. Cute glasses for the drinks!! Overall a great place if you're wanting some Korean fried chicken. Good and quick service too.

This restaurant has such a cute and unique interior and I love how the restaurant is moderate size yet they made it spacious. We ordered the half and half (yangyum&honey garlic) and green onion chicken. The half and half chicken were super crispy and green onion chicken had one of the best marinated green onion I've ever had. To top it off, the service was great too! The servers came by in rounds to ask if we needed anything. This is definitely a good hang out place with friends!

Mixed platter and french fried. Great for 2 to share!

Service was great eventhough they were super busy - server checked up on us often. Chicken is on point.

Spicy yangum and honey garlic wings

Wanted to try a new Korean wing spot after frequenting the usual chains like Pelicana and .BBQ. I really enjoyed the wings they were equal parts crispy and and saucy . We also tried their pork dumplings and Cajun fries which were excellent as well.

We ordered gamjatang and waited about 30 minutes. At first, we assumed it was taking a while to prepare. However, when other customers arrived, ordered the same dish, and received their food within five minutes, we realized something was wrong. When we finally asked the staff, we learned that she had forgotten to place our order. What made the experience more frustrating was that no one checked on us during those 30 minutes. We were simply left sitting there, waiting for our food. The staff apologized and offered us complimentary soft drinks to make up for the mistake, but by then, we had already lost our appetite. Unfortunately, the gamjatang itself was just average and did not make up for the disappointing experience. Things got even more frustrating when we checked the bill. Despite the drinks being offered as complimentary, we were charged for them. We had to bring this to the staff's attention twice before the charges were finally removed. Overall, the service was disappointing, from the forgotten order to the repeated billing mistake. We came in excited to enjoy a good bowl of Korean gamjatang, but the experience fell well short of our expectations. Would we visit again? Nah!

You won't feel ignored, but you also won't be on a first-name basis with your server by the end of the night. Ambiance is simple and casual. It's not trying to be fancy--it's more of a laid-back, everyday kind of place where the focus is clearly on the food. If you're looking for a trendy vibe, this isn't it.
