Beef in Spicy Chili Oil 凉拌麻辣牛肉
    Tina C.

I'd heard great things about this place, so we decided to stop by for dinner, especially since there are plenty of options that work well for kids. You order at the counter, grab any open table, and the staff brings your food out once it's ready. We started with the beef in spicy chili oil and the fried shrimp. The beef was excellent, with generous portions that were perfect for sharing. The shrimp, however, was a bit underwhelming, and the portion felt smaller than expected. For our mains, we ordered the braised beef mifen soup, crispy duck over rice, and a signature shrimp dry mifen with all the toppings on the side for the kids. The braised beef soup was a standout with rich and flavorful, paired with perfectly cooked mifen noodles. The crispy duck over rice, unfortunately, missed the mark. The duck was quite dry, and some pieces had more bone than meat. I'd skip that next time and stick with the noodle dishes, which seem to be their specialty. The kids enjoyed their non-spicy shrimp noodles as well, though a bit more shrimp would have made it even better. Overall, it's a nice, casual spot that's well-suited for a quick lunch or dinner.

Quick bites concept that's reasonably priced! Parking is available in the back garage. The seating is limited but it goes with the restaurant concept! The beef mifen bowl is similar to Vietnamese bun bo with less herbs and spices but still good. We enjoyed the freshness of the cucumber salad and the flavor profile of a good beef roll. Service was good

Delicious beef mifen noodle soup with a teriyaki egg

I cannot say enough about the kind and humble service and excellent cuisine at Yo!Bowl. Richard took our order and he was delightful and gave us all of the information and recommendations. We chose a beef stir fried flat noodle (like a drunken noodle) and the make your own bowl option with the beef and mifen noodle soup, all of the free extra pickly things to add to the top, a teriyaki egg and a delightful cucumber salad with homemade wok fried peanuts. We decided to try the Winter Melon tea that was very refreshing and sweet. We thought everything had magnificent flavors and freshness. The beef was so tender and full of flavor. That broth though. Hubba hubba. The walls are whimsically decorated with hand painted art that really added to the quirky atmosphere. We would definitely return.

I came by on a Sunday around 6:30 pm and it was pretty quiet -- just two other parties dining in -- though they were pumping out a steady stream of takeout (which is usually how I order too). I decided to dine in since I were nearby. There's retail garage parking in the back. The restaurant has doors in both the front and rear, depending on how you walked up. The interior is pretty spacious with plenty of seating inside and is very orange. The room is a little echo-y, so I can see it getting loud when it's busy. Service was solid, despite there being only one person handling the cashier and the floor. Ordering was done on a digital kiosk. The one waitstaff brought water, napkins, an extra bowl to share, and gave us a heads up that the food was coming. The food came out in about 15 minutes. I ordered the Signature Beef Dry Mifen, and it was pretty good -- nice spice level and flavorful sauce. I've been a fan since their Mifen Prince days in Plano. I kinda miss the beef tendon option, but the noodles here are still pretty good.

Super awesome customizable mifen spot. I don't know why I thought it was a breakfast acai spot for the longest time. We ordered the dry version of their mifen and it did not disappoint. The noodles were perfectly chewy and the meat was pretty tender. We also ordered a side of the Taiwanese sausage as well as the strawberry yogurt drink. I would love to try their broth version as well as their other apps. I've honestly been thinking about this place since we had it and I'm excited to go back and try their other menu items.

I haven't been to k-town for a long while. There's a great variety of Asian cuisine here -- Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Hong Kong Cantonese, etc. Yo! Bowl is a causal Taiwanese style Chinese eatery. The menu is simple so it won't take you long to place your order. We got their braised spicy beef noodle soup, cucumber salad , and a hibiscus tea. The noodle soup was fantastic! The broth was rich and savory, not too spicy. The beef was chunky, tender, and savory. We weren't able to finish the broth. As usual, we boxed it and took it home to make another noodle soup. Asians don't waste food :) We also loved the cucumber salad. Sprinkled with toasty wok-fried peanuts, the cucumbers were fresh and crunchy with a touch of sesame oil flavor. We liked the hibiscus drink, which was fruity and refreshing. The place is clean, casual, and homey. We'll come back to try other dishes, like the chicken katsu, Taiwanese sausages, spicy dumplings, etc.

Soooooooooo good! I cannot explain how much I enjoyed the food. The wontons in chili oil were incredible. The beef noodle soup was really good. I love the texture of their rice noodles. Next time I want to try the duck!

FANTASTIC experience, 10/10. My friend and I were both very happy with our meals. Very flavorful, great portions, and the staff was especially helpful explaining the menu and helping me choose something. They have GF options for noodles!!

The taste at Yo Bowl is honestly great. They don't skimp on the ingredients, and the portion size is decent enough to leave you satisfied. The service is also a major plus--super friendly and attentive. However, the price is a little steep. Paying almost $20 for a bowl of noodles and a single fried egg feels like a bit much. I'll definitely be back because the food is quality, but I'll probably have to limit my visits to once a month to keep my wallet happy.

After literally years of not yelping....I'm back. Why? Because Dallas has so much good food and not as many foodies posting in yelp as it deserves. With that said, 'Yo! Bowl' delivers. It is located underneath a high end apartment building complex with easy and free covered garage parking next to it. It's cold inside but that is just how anywhere in DFW does their AC. Get some warm noodle soup and it's the perfect combo! Braised Beef Mifen is their star dish. Get it with all the free toppings. The pickled ones make it. It comes spicy, but super mildly spicy. I'm painfully caucasian when it comes to heat, and this spice level didn't hurt me at all. Not a ton of beef - but this ain't' BBQ. Enjoyed the depth of flavor in broth. Chili Oil Wontons were great. Smaller portion but the wontons had a good, fresh chew to them. You gotta love that. So often wontons are cheap and pre-made. Not these. Beef rolls were killer. The pancake was almost sweet. Very akin to fried dough. Great when dipped in black vinegar and soy sauce mixture. THE BEST DISH WAS THE CUCUMBER SALAD! Omg. I'm a sucker for a cucumber salad so I get it at every Chinese place that has it. This one SLAPPPEDDDD. I could have drank the sauce. Salty, sesame, umami flavors came alive on the freshly smashed cucumber - and there was almost a whisper of heat? Perhaps chili oil? Idk. All I know is that it's the best one I've had all year! Waitress was good. Food came out fast. Fairly priced. Cheers

Staff was very nice and it's very clean restaurant. We picked build own noodles bowl. It's good flavor in both soup one and dry one. Pickle cabbage is really good inside the noodles. Hubby liked the fries a lot, the flavor is awesome, but a little pricy. Tofu needs some flavor. Might skip dumplings and definitely no cucumber salad next time.

So this place is located off George Bush and Old Denton. It's at the bottom of an apartment complex. When you turn into the parking garage from Old Denton, make a right, park on the row near the apartment courtyard and you will see the storefront. Now about the food. I ended up there because I wanted ramen. I went with the recommendation instead and got the braised beef bowl with rice noodles. Those noodles were larger. I should have went with ramen. Next time. I got it to go. There was very little wait because it had just opened. That worked out because I hear it can get pretty busy at times. I enjoyed it when I got home. They give you plenty. I did add hoisin sauce and a bit of sriracha sauce to mine once I got home.

We recently moved to the area and I wanted to check this place out after seeing in on social media. Everything we tried was good but the standouts were the signature dry beef mifen. The noodles are chewy, soft and bouncy. The sauce was slightly too salty but overall it was really flavorful. I added a fried egg and it definitely took it to the next level. You can also build your own bowl. The dumplings were so good! They were super juicy and tasted amazing. The scallion pancake was also very flaky and crispy. We tried their homemade yogurt which was good and their wintermelon tea was refreshing as well. They also offer samples of their drinks which is nice. Overall great place. Server forgot some items but rectified them quickly.
