The menu is simple so it won't take you long to place your order. We got their braised spicy beef noodle soup, cucumber salad , and a hibiscus tea. The noodle soup was fantastic! The broth was rich and savory, not too spicy. The beef was chunky, tender, and savory. We weren't able to finish the broth. As usual, we boxed it and took it home to make another noodle soup. Asians don't waste food :) We also loved the cucumber salad. Sprinkled with toasty wok-fried peanuts, the cucumbers were fresh and crunchy with a touch of sesame oil flavor. We liked the hibiscus drink, which was fruity and refreshing. The place is clean, casual, and homey. It was empty when we got there on a Friday night, but it made for quick service. Menu is relatively small and simple, so we went with the spicy beef mifen noodle soup. Overall, I was impressed with the amount of beef they gave especially - tender enough, but not fall apart and the rice noodles were slurp worthy for sure. Just enough bok choy to feel somewhat healthy. The broth is very earthy, which I actually don't like relative to other beef noodle soups, but its not too oily either. Maybe getting the regular beef noodle soup would let me appreciate the broth more and add my own chili oil. read more

Get some warm noodle soup and it's the perfect combo! Braised Beef Mifen is their star dish. Get it with all the free toppings. The pickled ones make it. It comes spicy, but super mildly spicy. I'm painfully caucasian when it comes to heat, and this spice level didn't hurt me at all. Not a ton of beef - but this ain't' BBQ. Enjoyed the depth of flavor in broth. Chili Oil Wontons were great. Smaller portion but the wontons had a good, fresh chew to them. You gotta love that. So often wontons are cheap and pre-made. Not these. Beef rolls were killer. The pancake was almost sweet. Very akin to fried dough. Great when dipped in black vinegar and soy sauce mixture. THE BEST DISH WAS THE CUCUMBER SALAD! Omg. I'm a sucker for a cucumber salad so I get it at every Chinese place that has it. This one SLAPPPEDDDD. I could have drank the sauce. So this place is located off George Bush and Old Denton. It's at the bottom of an apartment complex. When you turn into the parking garage from Old Denton, make a right, park on the row near the apartment courtyard and you will see the storefront. Now about the food. I ended up there because I wanted ramen. I went with the recommendation instead and got the braised beef bowl with rice noodles. Those noodles were larger. I should have went with ramen. Next time. I got it to go. There was very little wait because it had just opened. That worked out because I hear it can get pretty busy at times. I enjoyed it when I got home. They give you plenty. We recently moved to the area and I wanted to check this place out after seeing in on social media. Everything we tried was good but the standouts were the signature dry beef mifen. The noodles are chewy, soft and bouncy. The sauce was slightly too salty but overall it was really flavorful. I added a fried egg and it definitely took it to the next level. You can also build your own bowl. The dumplings were so good! They were super juicy and tasted amazing. The scallion pancake was also very flaky and crispy. We tried their homemade yogurt which was good and their wintermelon tea was refreshing as well. They also offer samples of their drinks which is nice. Overall great place. I wish I could leave 0 stars, but that's not an option. I ordered takeout through Uber Eats and picked it up myself around 8 PM. After picking up my food, I decided to eat there since it looked like a casual fast-food style restaurant plus it is super late and i am super hung! I sat down and started eating when the owner came over and told me I wasn't supposed to dine in because my order was takeout. Fine, no problem -- I was even planning to leave a tip for cleanup. But she kept complaining that I was "wasting" the takeout containers and chili oil. And that I should take the food home instead. She continued complaining the entire time. I felt very offended. Cute noodle shop tucked a little away but still close enough to conveniently access. The shop was nice and clean. Not overly spacious so not a great spot for groups of ppl. We got the BYOBowl. Sliced beef soup and braised beef soup with their cucumber salad, wonton in chili oil & katsu chicken. Everything got the spot perfectly. Soups were so flavorful with great umami flavor, the cucumber salad was very refreshing; garlicky with the perfect crunch. The wontons had a really good taste the chili oil was a good balance, not overly spicy or salty; definitely enhanced the wontons and the chicken katsu was really good and crispy. Definitely a great place to stop in a try-- we plan on coming back when the weather is cooler haha read more

The meat is tender and juicy. The combination of fresh herbs and the savory richness of the beef just delights you. Although I'm not a big rice noodle fan, the noodles are fantastic. It's chewy and springy that just amplifies the dignitaries wonderful beef dishes here. If you're looking for something lighter, the yogurt drinks are really good since they're made fresh daily. Ordered marinated golden soy sauce chicken today. Delicious! The chicken is incredibly flavorful and tender. The owner mentioned that they use chickens with no hormone injections. We ordered the fried duck twice. The first time, it was absolutely amazing. Unfortunately, the second time, the duck was quite dry and had a slightly overpowering smell. Wow- I'm speechless! 10/10- no 50/10! The service was superb! My husband and I were greeted so friendly by the front house staff- she explained the menu to us and let us try some samples which is SO SO helpful I wish other places did this with drinks! I ended up getting the wintermelon drink- it's actually sweeter than hibiscus tea. I loved the yogurt too surprisingly even though it wasn't as sweet as I usually like- it's not sour and so easy to drink. For the food I got a dry beef noodle soup with a side of soup. Wow the flavor just explodes in your mouth- garlicky, a lil spicy, and so so rich! I get the hype for sure! The wontons were amazing too! We saw the chef prepping them at the table behind us so you know it's freshhhh fresh. All in all this was one of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had. And it was really made wonderful due to the waitress. She's truly a shining star employee! So sweet and helpful! The interior was immaculate. Super clean and spotless including the powder room! There was one person who was taking orders but i think it looked like she was also responsible for water refills and I'm not sure if they had staff designed to wipe down used tables between guests because the table next to us wasn't bussed for at least 20 minutes and still wasn't bussed when we left and the place was busy. Most concerning of all was my husband went to the bathroom and said the sink was draining incredibly slowly. that is not the impression you want to give your guests in the food service industry. For the food we got: scallion pancake $5. it was really crispy and good. it tasted freshly fried and not out of a frozen packet chili wontons: $5. i was very disappointed. they weren't that good. weren't seasoned well and something about the texture i didn't like. the skin was too thick dry mifen bowl: i tried some of it, it was passable. nothing i'd crave fried tofu: $4: it was a good price for the tofu. didn't love the sauce overall nothing there was so good i would want to go again and the parking lot was annoying. read more

Our first time here and we were both kindly and warmly greeted upon entering. There was a bit of confusion on exactly how/where to enter the parking garage since the restaurant has entrances on two sides. The restaurant is located in a condo development. We will know not make a wrong turn on our next visit. Five-star Dining experience thanks to Shing (the owner) and Lin(cashier) serving legit Ramen and Mifen in an industrial and modern space with ample natural light. Food quality, presentation, flavor, taste, reasonably-priced portions, service, and ambiance - what more could you ask for? We ordered three items: 1.) Cucumber Salad 2.) Spicy Chicken Dry Mifen w/Fried Egg 3.) Ramen Soup with Fried Chicken For three items, our total was just $40.31 (with tax). And yes, I would definitely return. The Cucumber Salad had a noticeable depth of flavor lent by the vinegar, green onion, and chopped garlic and set the perfect tone for the rest of our meal. The Spicy Chicken was perfectly marinated, flavorful, succulent, and tender without all the salt that some places use. The chewy texture of the Mifen soaked up all the deliciousness and spices and was truly enjoyable to eat. The Fried Egg made it that much more special and took the dish to another level. When a craving hits, this appears to be the place to go! Mom said she enjoyed her Ramen Soup with Fried Chicken. The contrast of the beef bone broth worked well with the Ramen. The crunchy exterior of the chicken was impressive and flavorful while the inside maintained a soft texture and mouthfeel. Yo! Bowl truly exceeded our expectations and will more than likely be added to our list of restaurant rotations. Everything is made from scratch daily in-house with high quality ingredients and a commitment to customer service. Shing interacted with us throughout our meal to ensure we had everything we needed and we will definitely return to try other Menu items. After our meal, Shing offered us samples of Hibiscus Tea and Yogurt(not pictured). Mom and I both tried the Hibiscus Tea and it was truly delicious and refreshing on a blazing 104°F Texan August Summer Day. Will have to come back to try the Yogurt. When we sat in our car to leave, it wouldn't turn over. Panic set in (of course it had to happen on the hottest day of the year and three days before we travel out of the country), and not knowing what else to do, we went back inside the restaurant where Shing was kind enough to give us a boost so we could go straight to our dealership for servicing. I was a bit let down by the beef, my braised beef was very tough to chew and dry. The flavor of the sauce the noodles were on top was good but could've had more flavor imo. The wait for my food was around 30-40 minutes for my order and the person at the front asked me if I wanted some water but didn't bring it to me until 30 minutes after she had asked. I understand the wait for the food as it's made to order but was confused about the water situation. I wouldn't stop by here if I was looking for a quick meal. The only parking I could see was the parking garage within the strip mall/apartments above, just park to the right side and you should be good. The interior is clean, and honestly larger than I thought it would be from outside. Staff were friendly and helpful without being overly intrusive. The menu is small, but the selection available is decent, with a lot of customization available for your bowl. You can order with a human or on a touch screen. I got a braised beef noodle bowl with several toppings, the spicy wonton appetizer, and hibiscus tea. The noodle bowl portion was huge, and tasty. There wasn't a ton of beef, but what was there was tender and flavorful. The wontons were juicy and full of meat, and the tea was refreshing.
