Not the prettiest photo, but a full grill.

We eat here literally all the time. It's our favorite AYCE (all you can eat) style Korean BBQ. The only thing I'd say isn't worth it is their premium menu. It's pretty pricy and none of the cuts really stuck out to me. Tried it once and enjoyed, but we prefer our regular staples. We love the spicy pork bulgogi, brisket, short rib, beef bulgogi, Hawaiian steak, etc. My husband's favorite that we always somehow have room for at the end of the meal is the hotteok (dessert pancakes.) No reservations though. Just a waitlist you can join in person, so the line can get a bit long!

All you can eat k bbq. All the food was pretty good. Tried a few different plates but some of them had so much meat on them it was hard to try many. Would have been better with more people

This time, the service was much better. However, the food was not as good as it used to be. Many of the things that were once great now feel questionable in quality. It's truly sad to see what used to be an amazing restaurant decline after their IPO. The rice, the sauce, and even the grill all seem to have changed for the worse. The grill is the worst part -- it now has a strong "chemical" nonstick coating that affects the overall experience

Love the food and the customer service! I will say though the last two times have been a different experience with items missing from the menu and possible their AC being out. It was really hot this recent time.

Yummy! My recs are beef belly and Galbi ribs

I got the best experience here at Gen! I've been here a lot of times in the past but this time really stood out. Daniel our server took such good care of us. In fact the whole team here were hustling and checking on each table. The food got to us so, so fast and in fact for a while the meat kept coming non stop it felt like royal vip treatment! My family and I loved our time here will definitely come back soon. Dominick the manager was super awesome too- it's awesome seeing everyone step in and help.

Empty drink. Empty grill. The Gen special

Great food but never go during a dinner rush. We visited Gen 2 times with similar experiences. We were left waiting for 20+ minutes on end for literally anything. Our first visit, we waited 20+ minutes for a manager to cash out our check, which was extra exhausting because we didn't even have food to eat while waiting. Our second visit, we enjoyed our first round of meat then were left with an empty grill and empty drinks for 20+ minutes before our server even noticed us. By the time he came by, frustration pretty much spoiled the meal/experience and we asked for the check. This place could honestly be a gem if they staffed appropriately and provided any form of actual customer service. TLDR; good food but probably only visit during non-busy hours or expect wait times and poor customer service that rivals even the DMV.

I am not an expert on Korean food, but compared to other Korean restaurants I've been to, this was very good. Atmosphere was great and selection was overwhelming. It was event, not just dinner.

The place is super Smokey and oily. We were seated quickly on a Sunday night around 6pm. We had the premium menu which is recommended if you like better cuts of meat. It was a busy night and it felt a little understaff. The food was slow to come out and our poor waiter kept on being pulled to different tables. The best thing was how quickly they change out the grills as it blackens. The thicker cuts of meat weren't very juicy especially when it's leaner. I enjoyed the thinner slices. The lightly marinated ones are better. We also tried the shin ramen but it came out in a paper bowl. Maybe japchae would've been better. Our mock tails were way too sweet. The dragonfruit sparkle wasn't much sparkle and more syrups

Services was my only issue kept forgetting what we asked for. Amiance was casual and good. You cook your on food so good.

We went here on the weekend during lunch and order the dinner menu with the premium meat. Overall the cost is $50 dollars, but we got the Costco gift card for $80 for $100 dollars. This time we knew what to order and focused on the premium meat. The place was not busy at 11am, but got more busier after 12pm. My advice is show up at opening as the plaza does get busy after 12pm and parking will be much harder to find. I do love the wagyu beef, ribeye, short rib and beef tongue. I do like the salad that comes with it. If you have the money I would just pay extra for the meat. This time we did not leave stuffed. The potato salad was good too. Anyways a great place to go to.

So on Sunday 09/27, 7 of us decided to give this place a try. We were pleasantly surprised how efficient and friendly the staffs were! Jin was an absolutely amazing waiter who went above and beyond just to make our experience seamless and enjoyable even though we had to split our party into 2 separate table. I didn't get the names of the other two servers who cooked our meat to perfection but "Jin" made it possible for us to enjoy our meal! Oh and the quality of meat was phenomenal! But the experience of these exceptional service and efficiency made the meal even better. We will definitely come back next time when we are in town and my relatives found their new go to place!

Here's a cleaned-up version that keeps your personality and food-review voice:…read more Cattleack BBQ DID NOT disappoint. Right now, on my highly curated list of the 25 best BBQ spots in all of Texas, Cattleack sits at #12--so obviously I had to try it, especially because it's literally down the street from my new place. I knew how that line could get, so I pulled up at 10:05 AM . Basically had BBQ for breakfast. And since I plan on hitting ALL 25 spots on my list, I made sure I tasted a little bit of everything so I could give it a proper review. First test: THE RIBS. I'm from St. Louis. Ribs are always going to be one of my first tests of whether somebody can really throw down on the BBQ pit. I got a whole pound, and they were GREAT. Passed the test. Then came the Toddfather sandwich... WHEWWWW. Brisket, smoked sausage AND pulled pork all on one sandwich. My God. So good. To finish off the meat test, I got one big piece of fatty brisket. Excellent. Exactly what I wanted. Now the sides... The mac & cheese was surprisingly GOOD. And if you know Texas BBQ, you know finding a BBQ spot with mac & cheese that can actually hold its own isn't always easy. The burnt-end baked beans had a great smoky flavor, but there were almost TOO many burnt ends in them . I was like damn, can I get some beans too?! Still good though. And finally, the banana pudding? FIRE. It was like a fancy version because it had a toffee flavor to it. Cattleack absolutely delivered. Love the vibes inside and out. This is officially a Ken's Approved Restaurant and earns the KenStar of Approval. 12 down... the journey through Texas BBQ continues.

This has been on my list for a long time, and I finally got a chance to try it out over the summer…read more I live in Fort Worth and their hours are not convenient for me to get to them, thats why it has taken me so long to try them. I read about the long lines and the lack of parking, but when I visited, it was maybe an hour before they closed, so I was actually able to find parking right outside the front door, and there was no line. There were also plenty of seating inside. When I got there, they were out of certain items, but that was expected since they are in high demand. Since it was just me, I ordered half a pound of brisket and half a pound of ribs along with a side of mac and cheese. To be honest, it did not live up to its hype. The brisket was a little dry, and for how much they charge per pound, I was expecting more meat than fat. The ribs were my favorite, and the mac and cheese was ok too. I got my order to go, and they only gave me a few sandwich bread slices and like 2 small containers of pickles. I think next time IF i go and IF i happen to be in the area i will try to eat inside that way I can get more of the bread/pickles because i love those on my BBQ.

The food was tasty but the service was hit or miss…read more I thought the banchan you received at the restaurant no matter what you order there. I was craving pickled radish and I saw some pics with radish so we decided to give it a try. When I asked the server about pickled radish she told me we don't have it then I pointed out other tables and then she told me only for BBQ. We ordered seafood pancake (it was tasty and crispy but is fell apart trying to put it on the plate), seafood and tofu soup (tofu was nice and fluffy and the soup was just the right spice level) and bulgogi hotpot (it was a nice variety of vegetables with noodle and bulgogi meat, a good treat for a cool evening, this dish was on the sweet side and a really good option for those that don't like spicy). The establishment can be family friendly and fun with friends.

I would recommend getting the ribs for $53 and some cold noodles on the side instead of the combo. Their cold noodles were really good and the ribs a la carte were a better deal for the buck. I also heard their other entrees are very good. Will have to go back to try these. Highly recommend this place.
