Solid korean fried chicken. Was crispy and hot when it first came out but eat it fast, the sauce makes it soggy real quick. Cool and inventive takes on popular flavors, the onions make everything a little more refreshing. The chicken pieces themselves were a little small not gonna lie but still very good overall. We ordered half chicken orders for both and didn't get too much breast meat so W serving there as well. Solid meal, would come back with the homies.

One of the crispiest kfc I've tried in DFW! My friends and I were debating between getting the original or snow onion flavor once the waitress told us snow onion was the most popular flavor. We settled on getting the original and having the snow onion flavor on the side. I'm so glad we did this because the snow onion flavor was a bit too overpowering, even as an onion lover. We loved addicting garlic soy flavor. The only flavor we were not a fan of was the garlic soy because it was too sweet. The drinks tasted amazing and we highly recommend everyone to pair with their kfc. I definitely want to come back

The best fried chicken in Carrollton!! I've been to every fried chicken place in K-town & nothing seems to beat CM Chicken. Their chicken is always juicy & extremely crispy despite all the sauce! My favorites are the Hot Snow Onion & Curry. I've brought all my friends & family here and they're now all hooked!

Came here and waited over an hour for our food. The waitress who took our order left and we were informed that she forgot to put our order in, then that she did put our order in but for the wrong table. By the time we got our food at around 9:30pm the restaurant was empty, everyone else had ordered, gotten their food, and finished and left already. The sweet potato fries were very good but the chicken was just okay. We got the special tikkudak, which is fried then baked and supposed to have an extra crunch, but our chicken wasn't that crunchy at all. I'm wondering if it's because it was left in the back since our order was out for the wrong table? Overall, it may be due to a service mistake, but the food wasn't good enough to warrant the drive out to Carrollton for me.

Super crispy chicken and good portion sizes! Got a couple orders of CM fried chicken and the garlic spicy chicken and both were great and had a great crispy texture! The garlic spicy chicken had a great flavor but I wish that they gave more sauce on to-go orders when you ask for the sauce on the side. Other than that, service was really fast and I thought that the price was reasonable too!

CM Chicken is famous for their tikkudak so when I found one I had to try it. This fried chicken is crispy and smoky at the same time. It's a great combination. I love fire chicken and this was very tasty. It was a little sweeter than I'm used to but the spice level did not disappoint. I was not expecting much from the cheese monster flavor but I was wrong. The powder mixture it was tossed in is amazing. I could not stop eating it! The coverage of sauce and flavor powder was perfect leaving no surface area bare. Yet there was plenty in the bottom for an extra dip if for the large pieces if needed. The picked radish was crisp, fresh, and always welcome with spicy sauces. The fries were fine but the container of catchup was not my favorite variety. Picky I know but it reminded me of "fancy" catchup which only meant not Heinz or Hunt's. The dipping sauce was confusing for me and did not get used. In my opinion it was unnecessary because the chicken spoke for itself.

Great find. Was looking for something other than the big name Korean chicken places and found CM on Yelp. It's a small place, nothing fancy. The food, was excellent. I had the garlic wings and they were perfect. Crispy, fresh and perfectly cooked. The heat sneaks up on you, buts it's a geed heat. Great little place, a great find.

I tried the wings, and the tenders naked with the sauce on the side. Curry was a little too sweet for my taste. The spicy garlic sauce was also a little sweet. The chicken itself was crispy and juicy. I also tried the red hot chicken that was coated in the sauce. Word of warning, proceed with caution. This is mouth burning hot, good taste but it will hit you in the mouth.

I can't believe I hadn't eaten here until now. Probably my favorite Korean fried chicken place in DFW. The Hot Snow Onion chicken is the best - I was a bit skeptical of all the onions it came with, but by golly we ended up not having enough onion to eat with the chicken! The juxtaposition of the cold pickled onions with the hot fried fatty chicken creates a great flavor contrast that somehow works together perfectly. On top of that, there's the creamy snow sauce that ties it all so nicely. If you're in the area, please give CM Chicken a try and you'll thank me afterward!

I've been here a couple of times now and I must say this is my second favorite Korean fried chicken (KFC) in town. Their chicken is juicy and well-seasoned, and the garlic soy sauce is amazing! The prices are similar to other KFC in town, around $25 for a whole chicken. They have a variety of options on their menu, from the special snow onion, original, tikkudak (oven baked?), and the basic wings & tenders. They have more flavors when compared to other restaurants as well, such as curry, red hot pepper, and cheese monster! Their small size is enough to fill me up. I usually get wings by myself or split a whole chicken with my boyfriend if we want two different flavors. I love their soy garlic spring onion sauce! It's a little spicy, but also sweet and flavorful. Their garlic spicy is definitely spicier than I expected, and I can handle spice pretty well. Their chicken is crunchy on the outside, but juicy & easy to tear apart when you bite in. The spring onion is definitely a must when eating KFC. Adding cold seasoned thinly sliced onions to hot fried chicken makes it the perfect combination. They fry their chicken fresh per order, so prepare to wait about 20-30 mins to get your food. I usually order a side of fries to snack on while waiting, and it's big enough to share with 4 people. Service can be slow since there's only one waiter every time I visit. Still, I'd recommend giving them a try if you're looking for a place to eat!

Small Curry Tikkudak Wings (7 wings - $17)

I was the sole diner on the weekend around lunchtime at CM chicken but close to 10 people came through during the hour I was there to pick up to go orders. Obviously this place is no secret, nor should it be. I had the Curry Tikkudak Wings and they were an awesome surprise. I sort of expected a wing that was just tossed in a vat of Japanese Curry that would be a dripping mess to eat but what I received instead was a crispy wing that was less messy than your average wing with different complex flavors that weren't overwhelmed by a curry base. There was even quite a bit of sweetness that broke through in the flavor that was a nice surprise. This might be among the best, most unique wings I've ever had. Unfortunately not everything was all upsides and quite as amazing as the food. I had also ordered fries that weren't added to my order. In the end that wasn't a huge deal as the wings filled me up more than I expected; However, the prep time and the price of these wings likely knock it from a weekly stop more into more of a rarer special treat category. It took about 25 minutes to get my 7 wings and paid $17 for the privilege. That's more than I was paying for wings during the shortage at most places during COVID for sure and likely the priciest wings I've seen in the neighborhood. I don't doubt that that the process that makes their wings so memorable ups the prep time and costs to make them but I still feel the price is a bit high. $25 with a tip for 7 wings and a canned soda seems a bit high to me. This seems like it might be a place that's better to split a larger order versus just ordering for yourself though. I'm conflicted overall. This is 5 star chicken being sold at a premium price that I'm not sure is quite justified to me. I'll likely be back sometime in the future to try see if the larger portions or different types of chicken feel like a better value. Their menu seems to have a lot of unique choices so I'm sure there is something that strikes the right balance I'd be happy with overall. I'll likely take a note from the other patrons and take my next order to go as well to try to cut down the wait time a bit as well.

Before the main event, we got the seafood & green onion pancake. Crispy on the outside and reasonably chewy interior. Good amount of seafood; in particular, the oyster stood out. It was also a nice portion that was ideal for sharing. I opted for the seafood soondubu. Everything, from the banchan to the specific side dishes served with the soondubu, came out not too long after ordering. I got it at spice level three which I thought offered the right amount of kick without being too overwhelming (I also like to think I have a pretty strong spice tolerance). It had a good variety of seafood; namely, the shrimp and oyster. I'm not the biggest fan of clams but they were definitely still tasty. The tofu was soft and silky. The yellow croaker and rice were great supplements to the dish. The rice perfectly absorbed the broth. The croaker added a nice crunchy break from everything. The banchan was pretty standard in my opinion - still, a great complement to the soondubu. Last but not least - service was attentive and quick. I will definitely be coming back at some point!

The restaurant had plenty of space, but service was still super fast and efficient anyway, which I loved. What I love about Chodang is that the food is stellar and such good PORTIONS. Knowing this, I still opted to order a Combo Special because the thought of having leftovers for the next day sounded great to me. I ordered the Kimchi Tofu Soup with Beef Bulgogi, and it was delicious. I usually order my soups at the Spicy level, which I would say has a kick and flavor but never leaves me panting for air or water. As someone who likes spice, I wouldn't say it's very spicy, but definitely flavorful. Beef Bulgogi is one of my favorite dishes, and this place's version does not disappoint. The meat is tender and has a good balance of sweet and salty. My friends also ordered Combo Specials with a Tofu soup and the Korean bbq ribs, and Spicy Pork Bulgogi. One of these friends opted for the medium spice level, which I would say is a safe choice for everyone, especially if you're worried about something being too spicy. All soups come with Korean side dishes, a whole grilled yellow croaker fish (delicious but lots of bones), and a hot stone bowl of rice. Nothing missed!
