Ordered chicken curry and did not expect the consistency that I received. Unlike every other curry I've consumed in my 20 years on this Earth, this curry was not creamy and resembled a thin soup. The garlic nan was delicious but the curry was suspicious. The flavor was fine and I ate it...but I wasn't satisfied.

The food is so yummy! This restaurant bus family owned and it shows they really care about the customers! The food was awesome!

    Chili Chicken

This actually may have been the worst Indian food I've ever eaten. I come from an Indian family and have grown up eating Indian food so trust me when I say this place does not serve true Indian food. I ordered the chili chicken with garlic naan and man was I disappointed. The chili chicken came in a container of watery curry and was way too sweet to be called chili chicken. It's almost as if the chef added sugar in place of actual spices and masala! The naan was too thick and undercooked to the point where I got a stomach ache from the raw dough. I'm never eating here again and I strongly recommend others do the same.

Tried this place a couple of times for a lunch date and determined that the food is average. Prices are ok, staff is nice and friendly.

So happy they're open! Not quite as good as home but darned close. And more affordable than the other place in town.

Flavors are wonderful but if you're dairy free, legume free, or gluten free your choices are limited.

The menu has a large selection of standard Indian food fare, including vegetarian and meat dishes. It's for your Greatest Hits of Indian food without getting two deep, although except for one snack of fish fritters, the only meat available is chicken. That being said, I'd like to try every one of the meat dishes. Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Curry, Chicken Tandoori, Chicken Biryani...yes, please. My partner FINALLY got me to a place to enjoy Indian food. As this was my first time here, though, I opted for the most basic of dishes and went with the Butter Chicken. Chicken pieces in a tomato curry sauce, this is usually a signature dish of any restaurant and how a place makes it seems to largely determine how good everything else is, in my opinion. So ordering was fast and easy. I was asked how spicy I wanted it. I said "as spicy as you can make it." The man at the window smirked at that and I confirmed I was serious, and saw him wrote "spicy +" on my ticket, so I think he took it seriously then. Honestly, so many times my partner and I ask for "spicy" and get a bland mild....like we don't know what spicy is. To be fair, I know a lot of places get complaints for being "too spicy" when someone doesn't known what they're doing, but we really like it hot and don't need to be protected. Anyways, I ordered that and some garlic naan. When my order was ready, it came bagged up with my food, a paper plate, and a knife and fork disposable bag kit. The chicken itself was in a plastic sealed cup and there was a box of basmati rice. It was also very hot, temperature wise. I waited for my partner to get her seafood and then I went to town. Long story short (too late), it was good. There was A LOT of chicken, the curry was very spicy without being overpowering, but I definitely felt it. It was a hot day outside and the food did it's job of making me sweat and cooling me down. The sauce was wonderful and was great with the rice as well as why dipping the naan. The naan was standard but had a good, not heavy, garlic flavor. A bit dry but it is an unleavened bread. I dipped it in the curry and it was quite good. So far this has been one of my favorite meals at the Barn, and I'm looking forward to going back and trying the tandoori and the biryani.

We showed up in stages but the bartender must have been having a bad day he would get one drink order at a time is what my peeps told me, I thought they were joking. We ordered 2 Bloody Marys and one didn't taste like it had any alcohol in it so we mixed the 2 together. The food came out real slow and kind of haphazardly. I will say the hummus was good. The menu is American and Indian so I was excited. Some people's burgers were way over done and after the food all came out, I was informed they were all out of Dahl Makhani Which was disappointing. So I asked for Chana masala and after a while they came and told me that they were out of that too, so I settled for a black and blue burger with tots. My burger came and thankfully it wasn't overdone and it came with fries. Now the last 2 at the table are still waiting for their burgers none too happy. As I finish my Bloody Mary I notice a 1 1/2 inch crack in my glass which I take up to the bartender and let him know, he didn't say anything. Now in the meantime 2 people at the table are saying the chicken Caesar wrap they ordered didn't taste right and opened it up to find what looked like curried chicken chunks that were rinsed off inside the wrap. A while later I order to Kona's for my friend and I, a while later he comes over to tell me they are out of Kona, so I order 2 different beers, and as I am getting down to the end of my beer there's a shard of glass. I take this up to the bars and tell the guy and show him letting him know I think I swallowed a piece and they better check the dishwasher or something. He throws the shard of glass in the garbage and walks away. The kicker 3 of us had bad stomach aches the next day. I don't know what's going on but I would avoid this place

Then, on a trip to the Oregon coast, we happened to be going through Corvallis at lunchtime and decided to stop. We are SO glad we did. All of the other Yelp reviews said it was really good, but few mentioned any specific dish. Except for the hummus, which received off-the-chart good reviews. So we tried the Lamb Hummus dish as well as the Musakhan Rolls, which is a chicken with caramelized onions wrapped in fresh grilled bread. Both were excellent with some notes. The Musakhan Rolls said they come with a garlic sauce. The sauce was excellent, but tasted more like a tart yogurt/sour cream sauce to us. Not a strong garlic flavor. The lamb in the hummus was also very good, but kind of bland. We love lamb when it is prepared well (we usually only order from a Middle Eastern restaurant) and this was prepared perfectly. We just felt it could stand a little more flavor or spice. However, the hummus. Oh. My. Word. The hummus. All of those off-the-chart reviews were spot on. The hummus had to be the best hummus we have ever had in our lives. And we eat a variety of foods from a variety of places. It was the perfect amount of garlic and so creamy, we actually used our fingers to wipe the bowl and get that last remaining bits of the hummus. Our service was excellent. It is family-owned and our server was very pleasant and hospitable. The inside is decorated in what appears to be Syrian decor and is nicely done. Now we have to connect with our friends and go back sometime soon for dinner. Yumm!

I questioned the lamb kabobs that were served to us. Instead of chunks of lamb, it was ground lamb. The manager said these were Syrian kabobs and that's the way they are made.
