It seems they need to hire more staff- I saw all of the waiters working hard throughout the night, but I spent at least an hour of my visit just waiting on various things. The Veggie Bowl was impressive. The bowl contained a variety of tasty ingredients that are individually prepped and artfully combined. Even the seemingly plain slices of cucumbers were marinated in rice wine vinegar, lime juice and sea salt. A welcome pop of acidity that made the veggie bowl very balanced with the richness of the house made tahini sauce. YUM! For $9 + $2.75 add grilled chicken... I'd order this again and it didn't really need the chicken. Without grilled chicken this would be the perfect VEGAN meal. They also have an extensive list of pressed juices and smoothies made to order.

It was not the one I was thinking of, and I really wish we had stayed here. Very clean and beautiful on the inside. We were the first patrons of the day. The bartender was so kind and friendly it immediately boosted our moral as we had been on a train for over 5 hours. After figuring out this was not the place we were looking for we decided to stay for drinks and an appetizer. The jalapeño marg(which I will order whenever available), was not only delicious, but had a beautiful presentation. I love the fact that with the chip you get the bean dip too, since some places just do salsa. Their salsa was tasty too! We order the chicken and cheese taquitos for our app, which also had a nice presentation and was cooked perfectly. I am disappointed we left here in search of the original Mexican place that we had been to years later. If you are in search of great traditional Mexican food look no further. Next year when we are in town this will be our first stop. I am already looking forward to it!!
