To be fair, I could only base this review off of a milkshake, because that is the only thing I got from there. I was craving a milkshake and we were passing through Longview so I google searched for the best milkshake in Longview and Nipps came up. Worst. Milkshake. Ever. This is a great little burger joint! We were on our way through headed to Mt. st Helens. We had eight of us and our whole meal was less than $45! The burgers and fries were awesome and it was FAST! Stopped here on our way to Astoria after Thanksgiving. It definitely gets 5 stars for the Burger alone. The burger was delicious and slightly crispy on the outside. The bun was toasted, ketchup was delicious, and lots of pickles!! Perfection!! I also got the chocolate shake. It was pretty good - there was a slight aftertaste. I love Nipps, it's my favorite fast food joint in the area and I usually eat there at least once a week. Always fresh, hot, tasty food and a good value (especially if you use their coupons). My favorites are the halibut sandwich and the garden burgers, and their seasoned fries with fry sauce. The staff are always friendly and greet you with a smile, which for me tends to make up for the lack of ambiance. I'm only chagrined that they're closed on Sundays. read more

Great diner atmosphere. The burgers and fries are fantastic. Their fry sauce is amazing. There is limited seating, but that's part of the atmosphere. I have eaten here several times, sometimes it's really good sometimes not so much. I have had both the seasoned fries and regular fries. I personally prefer regular fries, it would be nice if they were a little crisper. The burgers are sometimes right on the money and other times undercooked and extremely sloppy. I feel comfortable leaving a lower rating here just due to the extreme inconsistency. read more

Usually, these indies burger joints hit the mark on at least 2 out of 3 on Burger-Fry-Shake scale...setting themselves up for a 4/5 star rating. The fries are most often the wild card, many surrended to basic frozen fry offerings. Here it is the best of the 3. The double cheeseburger was overcooked and dry, even though I waited for 10min plus for fresh cooked. The grilled onions were good but the pickle and tomato were flavorless. The shake was the biggest disappointment, the ice cream was flavorless, despite ordering the peanut butter due to an earlier review. Reminding me of ice-milk from years back. The biggest problem they have is the 5 star 5 Guys directly across the street...I try to go local when I can vs the chains...next time through town I will go back across the street. I think Nipp's needs to step up the quality of the ingredients or become a casualty...I hope they make the jump. read more

Nipps never disappoints. Consistency is important in a restaurant, and I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that every visit will get me exactly what I'm craving. You can't go wrong with Nipps. I always get the Banner Special, a bacon cheese burger seasoned fries and a large drink for a very affordable price. Bring your patience if you plan on eating lunch here because they are always busy. and they close too early in the evening which is disappointing for a late night snack. read more

The burgers are excellent, the staff is excellent. The only down side is the place doesn't have enough seating, but that sure isn't gonna stop me from going there! I love, love their fry sauce and the fact they have diet Dr Pepper is a big plus for me, as I am an insulin dependent diabetic and I HATE diet coke. Had their halibut burgers with a side order of onion rings plus a butterscotch shake, and my wife had a green salad. Big portions, including containers of tartar sauce for the rings. Shake could've been better (very weak butterscotch taste). For what it is (basically deep-fried fast food), it's pretty darn good. read more

Went here on our way out of town as my wife swears by this place as she is from Longview. Place was pretty busy when we were there which is always a good sign. Didn't take long to order and get our food to go. The burgers were ok but nothing to rave about. The fries were good as was their fry sauce. While sitting in car eating the folks that worked there went in and out of the place to what I assume is a freezer on the side of the building to get more supplies. It looked like fries and burgers which leads me to believe that everything here is frozen and pre made. I figured with this place being so small that they would make everything from scratch however I don't believe that is the case. read more

I would give it 4.5 if I could. Excellent burgers and fries. I had the Niipp burger, grilled bun, grilled onions and lots of flavor. My son had the 1/2 burger and said it was great. Fries are coated and are very good. Excellent service. We were sitting outside because the sun came out for the first time in what seemed like a year. A car went through the drive up and left before they received their entire order. Austin who works at Nipps sprinted out the door and chased the car down. He came out of the restaurant like he was on fire. I was extremely impressed at the effort he made to catch that car. How many times have you gotten screwed at a McDonalds, Bruger King or Wendys drive up and they act like it's your fault. 10 star service for Austin and Nipps. read more

Well to start off, they have great fries and shakes. However my last experience there resulted in me NEVER wanting to come back. After waiting in the drive thru for quite some time which is normal, it was finally my turn to pay. I received my meal and simply asked for a few more fry sauces since they give out the dinkiest containers of it. I've asked this before and have never had a problem. The lady who was in about her early to mid twenties looks and me and says IS THAT REALLY NECESSAY under her breath in the snottiest tone. Her co worker looks at her and starts laughing. I was appalled at their costumer service. I know a few people who had to deal with the same girl and were not impressed at all. I really hope they hire nicer people. I really enjoyed eating there but after being treated that way, I will not go back. read more
