Nipps has pretty good burgers on a scale of 1-10 I would rate them a 7. For me a 7 has to be significantly above average. If you like fish sandwiches their halibut "burger" is very good also. I'm not a big fan of their curly fries, I'm a krinkle cut or steak fry guy, but for curly fries they are pretty good. I also like the small town ma and pa burger shop feel of the place. The last few times I was there there was ketchup spilled on the counter, napkins on the floor, and random fries on the floor but they were very busy. My co-worker grew up in the area and has been hyping up Nipps for the last six months. Yesterday, we finally made the trek up to Nipps while we were heading to the Fourth of July Flea Market in Longview. I ordered the Banner Special without lettuce or tomato and a orange sherbert shake as my drink. Everything was absolutely amazing. The burger tasted great, the fries were cooked perfectly, and the shake was unlike any shake I had ever had before. Probably the most unique thing I found about Nipps was their fry sauce. While most fry sauces are thin, Nipps sauce is extremely thick and sticks to the fries. To some people, this may seem like a bit much, but to me it was just another added bonus. Great, cheap, greasy burger. Nipps is always packed and there's never enough seating, but it's damn delicious. The best burger I've had in Longview. So much better than fast food for a little more cash. The fries are killer. Nipps burgers are greasy, but the good kind of greasy. If you're not used to a fast food diet, this place can give you a stomach ache and/or put you in a food coma. You will die an early death if you eat here enough, but at least you'll be satisfied. One bad thing: my coworker always gets the veggie burger, which is nothing special, and strangely costs $1.25 more than a meat burger. Been here three times now. First time I got a dry tasteless burger and wasn't impressed, I decided to give them a second chance and it was way better but still only mediocre. The third time I order two milk shakes for me and and my wife, I ordered a chocolate shake and a root beer shake and they gave me a strawberry shake and a vanilla shake. My wife decided to try and give them a call to see if we would be able to drive back and get what we ordered but after three attempts at calling we gave up. read more

Pretty good. I ordered their signature burger which comes with grilled onions, ketchup and mustard. Way too many onions for me! It's a large burger. My husband would love it. The food was quick and hot. I asked for a small regular fry and the portion was good. Their ranch dressing is amazing! First time visiting, while the burger and fries were very good I was disappointed that it didn't come as advertised. Milkshakes are ok. Best part of the joint is their RASPBERRY ICE TEA besides that I was told by an ex employee that she would purposely put extra salt and pepper on customers burgers! The burgers and fries are great, until you get that order where the "sauce" seeps in the bun and it's soggy and poorly put together or the fries are just covered in grease. The King of Burgers joints in the area. Nipps it the standard by which I judge other burgers in the area. The food is fantastic. I've had burgers and the shrimp basket here. Both are completely excellent. The burgers are big, well made with fresh quality ingredients and extremely tasty. The fries are special seasoned fries are some of the best in the area. The big thing that nets Nipps five stars is the quality combined with the price. Getting a large top of the line burger meal at Nipps is only $7. Nipps is extremely economical and a great place to take friends or if you want to burger yourself out. The only negative I can see is they have a somewhat limited menu with just burgers, chicken sandwiches and fast seafood. But if you're the mood for good fast food, there isn't a better place in the area. read more

Maybe it's just me but Nips reminds me of a quaint little 50's drive-through with terrific burgers and shakes to match, but it's ruined by those terrible fries that are coated in flour and seasoning, making them taste over processed. Just across the street there's competition from 5 guys who offer hand cut fries, so would think maybe there should at least be an option? Greasy fast food style, very inexpensive but tasty. Grilled onions and mushrooms were quite good, would recommend getting those on the burgers. A little pricey, but definitely proportionate to the mass of the object you get to eat.
