Not sure of their service, but to come out for 10 minutes just to look at an exposed pipe for my sink cost $90 dollars. They weren't able to complete the job due to not having equipment available (which as a plumbing company would think they'd have). There is an adage in the service industry -- "Under-Promise and Over-Deliver"... Ninja Plumber is an excellent example of an organization that does just that! Over the weekend, I noticed my toilet was taking a long time to empty, then it just blocked completely on Monday. I tried my usual tricks of using a plunger and a small snake but nothing worked. I called Ninja early Tuesday morning and was told a plumber would be there between 12:30pm and 1:30pm. Imagine my surprise when Ariel arrived at 12:10pm and apologized for being early! He and Oscar set to work, and he kept me up-to-date with every stage of what they were doing. Before long, it became apparent there was more to this problem than just a simple blockage. Ariel explained that it was most likely tree roots, and he would need to dig up the main sewer line in order to run a camera inside. He said it would likely take several days, but would definitely be fixed by Friday. He returned on Wednesday with a team of 5 guys who set to work, digging out the pipe. Again, they ran into a problem -- apparently, some previous plumber had re-routed the sewer pipe, leaving the old, disused one in place, which gave a false reading on Ariel's pipe detector. So they scanned again, this time locating the real pipe, and the digging started again. By this time, it was late Wednesday, and getting dark. Regardless, they set up lamps and continued working until at least 10pm. (I was not there to witness this since my wife and I had checked into a hotel in order to have working plumbing.) When I returned Thursday morning, Ariel showed me a section of sewer pipe with a tree root in it the size of my arm! No wonder it was blocked! Apparently, they fixed it all Wednesday night and were back on Thursday to tidy up. They did a great job filling in all the holes, restoring the lawn as best as they could, and hosing off everything to make it as clean as possible. All in all, an excellent outcome, and completed well in advance of Ariel's prediction -- greatly over-delivered! So, yes, I heartily recommend Ninja Plumber! read more

I would love to thank the friendly and helpful staff over at Ninja Plumber for coming out to our home in the middle of the night to clear our drains. They offered us late night service without extra charges and got us draining again just in time so my Mom could get ready for work! I commend the company, the awesome night dispatcher who by the way, even called me to notify me the technician would be just five minutes late from the original approximate arrival time given to me so that way I would not be waiting for him at the gate area then asked me if better yet I had a gate code (which I had forgot to give them) to make things easier for us which I highly appreciated (needless to say) being the middle of the night and all. They inspected the sewer line at the house that I'm buying in West Hills, and gave me a video on a thumb drive - I used this to show the sellers. Ninja Plumbers will figure out your problem, explain it thoroughly in detail and put together a quote that is the most competitive out there. I had a bad leak under the house but took time to shop around for opinions. Not only were Ninja Plumbers the best priced, but it was clear that Matthew T, who came to inspect the problem was extremely experienced. He was able to pinpoint the leak but also the cause. Some other licensed plumbers who came out weren't even able to spot the issues in my system. Furthermore, these guys are hard workers. Matthew gamely crawled through my crawlspace to better assess the pipe situation. I commend him for his diligence and willingness to get dirty in order to put together an effective solution. And these guys work EFFICIENTLY! They are incredible with communication, allowing me to alert my tenant to their work plan. Ninja Plumber charged me $300 for a service that they never completed, and then refused to give me a refund for their failure. To put it in simpler terms - they stole my money. If you want to take that chance with YOUR money, go ahead and hire them. Otherwise, I would look for a different plumber. On April 12, a Ninja technician came out to do a main sewer line inspection for a house in escrow. The technician arrived 30 minutes late and refused to answer any questions about the inspection, simply saying that everything would be in a report which would be sent within 3 business days. This was very frustrating considering the narrow inspection deadlines I was dealing with. Of course, that report never came, and with the inspection deadline fast approaching, I was forced to hire a different company to do the job correctly. The other plumber arrived on time, explained all his findings on the spot, and delivered a report the same day. That is how it should be done. Two weeks later, realizing that Ninja disappeared with my $300 and NEVER sent a report of any kind, I called them to request a refund. They refused, claiming the report was sent, stubbornly ignoring (or not caring) that I never received it. With Ninja Plumber, it seems the customer is always wrong. Bottom line: stay far away from this company if you value your time and money. read more

These guys were very professional and punctual. Two very important factors when someone is coming to work on your house. They (Larry and David) arrived well within their time window and explained the issue very thoroughly. I ended up getting a cleanout installed on the main line a week after their initial visit. The installation went smoothly and I even felt comfortable enough to leave them at the house alone for a few hours as I had to stop by work for a little bit. At no point did I feel nervous or unsure of what they were doing. Every task they performed was followed with an explanation as to why it was necessary. The service and experience that I just had with Ninja Plumber doesn't get any better. I called them at noon today (a Saturday) to schedule an appointment to have my shower fixed. An hour and a half later and they've already come out and fixed my problem. The employee that answered the phone when I first called was helpful and told me that someone was already in my area so they would be able to come out within the hour. She took down all of my information, and they arrived about 40 mins later. The technician (Matt) quickly investigated my shower, ran to get a part, and within a total of 45 mins everything was fixed and like brand new. Ninja Plumber has been my go-to since moving into my first home about 4 years ago. They've fixed toilets, replaced the regulator and valve coming into my house, replaced my water heater, and most recently just replaced all the pipes and fixtures in one bathroom with copper since I still had old, corroding galvanized. They're always courteous, fast and clean and give me straight quotes. Geovanni did this last job and he was super helpful with recommendations and options, explained exactly what they would need to do and what they could and couldn't do when it came to patching up holes they needed to cut. He and his assistant put in about 10 hours on the last day, working in the dark to finish patching up the stucco and clean up in order to finish the job on the day they promised. Ninja plumbing did a fantastic job! In my experience, hiring a plumber can be a nightmare, especially because many plumbers want to make quick "easy" money, or simply are not honest and upfront. My problem wasn't easy, and similar to many other situations, my problem required a certain amount of "investigative" work to determine the cause. Josh the supervisor who originally came and did the estimate was sincere, up front, and made me feel comfortable to trust him and always answered my questions with detail and patience. This is a far cry from Mike Diamond plumbing (who literally did an about-face and walked away the minute they saw that I had a main line clog). Josh at Ninja plumbing not only did a great job with the estimate, he also stayed around and personally managed the crew during the 2 days it took to complete it. His assistant "Robert" who did much of the labor was extremely hard working, and friendly. My Main line had been clogged, and unfortunately, the house never had any "clean outs" previously installed. Ninja plumbing did the hard work to find the problem, install the necessary cleanouts, and fix the problem. Cesar and his partner brough the special truck on the last day to run a professional Hydrojet/scrub to clean the lines out once and he was patient enough to explain how it worked and answer my questions during the process. All of the crew at Ninja Plumbing made me feel comfortable the whole way through. Richard came out the same evening that I called, checked everything and actually told me it didn't look like a leak, so they gave me pointers on how to fix where water was likely getting in (my daughter overfilling the bath, maybe). and put some silicone on the likely points.
