We came celebrating our anniversary. If you don't eat meat, there are a few good choices the menu. We started with the Pinot Noir and Prosecco. I couldn't decide what to get so I got a salad and two appetizers. Yum!! The beet salad was good and fresh. I followed that with the cauliflower and capers and Caramelized Brussel sprouts. Good seasonings. I never had capers with cauliflower before. Great Idea!! The Brussel sprouts were caramelized Parmesan and lemon zest. They are very lemony. More then I expected. My husband got the lobster ravioli. He said it was wonderful. The sauce was very very good. (He would have loved a piece of bread to soak up the remainder of sauce. But bread / rolls are not served.) A couple of tourists from our hotel recommended this spot for the Ceviche so we decided to give it a go. This place has a second floor with a cool balcony that overlooks Duval street. It has some age to it but it's kinda cute and cozy. We ordered the ceviche, cheese plate, cool as a cucumber drink, key lime martini and two other drinks. Our server/bartender was pretty cool. My only negative would be not telling us it's last call and just telling the group that the kitchen and bar is closed. So, no chance to order more drinks after that. The food was pretty spectacular and I have no complaints there. The items on my cheese plate were so delicious, just wish I had more little toasties to finish all the items. That really wasn't an options because you can sense they were dying to close up. Overall, drinks were amazing, food was amazing, just lost that one star for abruptly making everything come to end without warning. Staff wasn't rude just awkward. I would give this place another go if I could. Good food. Ate here twice. I had the Ahi both times. Outdoor seating was on the street and nice. My wife had butternut squash pasta which was great, twice. And we shared the Burata appetizer. I will miss eating here when I get home. There are two other restaurants on this block and we ate in them an additional 3 times total. You cant go wrong here. I have been wanting to come to this restaurant for years! They are almost always on a wait and it is best to make a reservation (even in COVID) if you want to sit in the main dining area downstairs. Upstairs there is a bar/lounge area that is first come, first served and it was perfect for us. We were able to sit outside and have a great view of Duval and feel safely social distanced while enjoying our meal. Our waitress Heather was fantastic and made great suggestions! We went with the Arugula & Pear salad to start and the pears were done perfectly with just a touch too much dressing, the bacon wrapped dates with blue cheese dressing that were savory and delicious but what really made our mouths water was the Ahi Tuna Gravlax It was absolutely perfect! It was sliced thin like carpaccio and topped with a ginger soy vinaigrette, jalapeño, radish and saffron aioli. If that was not enough to make you want to run right over, we shared a whole fried snapper and it was so crisp, plump and tender it just melted in our mouths. Made a reservation and we were promptly seated outside in a beautiful area. We ordered a couple of cocktails and starters ( Key lime pie martini, a rum punch, wedge salad, bacon wrapped dates). The starters arrived before our drinks, and were delicious (although one pit was not removed from one of the dates - not a huge deal, but just something to note if chewing carefully). The key lime martini was good, but also was not super tart. Once main dishes came along, we ordered the chicken breast and lobster ravioli- I found the ravioli to be salty, but the chicken was absolutely amazing and I enjoyed every part of this dish. read more

We were looking for a nice place to eat but did not make reservations. We walked past this restaurant and decided on it. The main restaurant was booked but they have an overflow upstairs which serves the same menu. I like it better because you can look down on Duvall street. The Food was pricey but it was excellent something you can't make at home unless you are a chef We had crab ravioli, seafood pasta, and wahoo fish special. We sampled from everyone's plate and every dish was a Symphony in your mouth. The service was on point with appetizers coming out first and main course after they were finished. Go enjoy. read more

the place has a beautiful exterior and a nice, cozy interior. we called about reservations which they said they had 0, but then we were able to make one on opentable... which contradicted what they said. we got there and were sat quickly which was great. the cone of fries was wonderful. the lobster ravioli was not the highlight of the night, it was bitter and didn't taste quite right. the salmon was okay. my partner enjoyed it. we went somewhere else for dessert since their dessert menu is quite small. the drinks were great, the streets are a bit loud and rowdy at night but that's not their fault. just be wary when eating outside. read more

First thing that sold me was their complimentary bread-- omg. I could've just had endless plates of that as my meal. And then their skinny margarita was the BEST I've had in a while. It took all of my self control to not order a third before our meals arrived... lol. No surprise, but the rest of the food was amazing too. Although I wish the portion of the Mongolian ribs was larger, they were still delicious. The soul mama soup is not anything like what I would usually order but I totally loved it. If you want something local and authentic, try this. My boyfriend loved his order of the pappardelle as well. This is a more upscale dining experience and if you're looking for a fancy date night this would be the ideal place to go. Most of the tables are located outdoors so keep that in mind if you're wanting to dine while the weather is bad or it's extremely hot. I, also, recommend making a reservation because it books up quickly and the restaurant isn't very big in order to accommodate walk ins without a long wait. The good food was great! We sampled a bunch of different starters as well as desserts. We tried the tuna, Mongolian ribs, Brussel sprouts, octopus, bread pudding and key lime pie bar. The tuna was amazing! It had great flavor and came with fresh jalapeños and radishes for an additional kick. The Mongolian ribs had a good flavor, but were a little dry. Still yummy though! The octopus was great and came with a wonderful chickpea hash. The key lime bar was OUTRAGEOUSLY GOOD. They brûlée the top of it so it is that refreshing key lime you crave while visiting Key West but on another level entirely. The bread pudding was just as delicious and was served a la mode with a caramel sauce. The service was impeccable as well! Had dinner on a recent trip to Key West. The food was so fresh and the service was great! Jules was awesome! We enjoyed the vibrant flavors and friendly atmosphere on the balcony overlooking Duval. After almost filling up on their delicious appetizers, calamari lightly fried and perfectly grilled octopus, we were still able to enjoy the fried whole fish. We had dinner here last Friday night and our first impression was not a good one. We sat at the bar while we waited for our table and the female bartender could not have been less enthused to serve us drinks. We returned late Saturday night just for drinks upstairs at the recommendation of a friend- it was raining so the 2nd floor was full. The downstairs bar was COMPLETELY empty. As the 4 of us sat down the SAME bartender from Friday night proceeded to tell us that ALL of the bar seats were reserved for "regulars" that were on their way in. Reviewing as it's crucial for a manager to be onsite on a Saturday night. We had a group of 8 women celebrating a bachelorette weekend and I love this place so booked a month ahead. Our food was dropped incorrectly and one of the girls took a bite of lobster ravioli who is deathly allergic. My friend and I took off running for Meds. We came back to a frighten table and cold food but the dinner was ruined at that point. I just wish there was mgmt available to help resolve the matter. This place was pretty packed so we decided to stop in. We showed up a little after 8pm but the hostess said there were no more tables for 2 but we could try to seat ourselves upstairs. We were served really quickly which is always nice too. They have an assortment of mixed drinks, the mojito and daiquiri were great. We only ordered dinner and both got pasta dishes. Their fish of the day was swordfish when we went which isn't our cup of tea. The bolognese pappardelle was excellent, they ran out of the pappardelle noodles so mine was made with Fettucini. Really really good. Huge portion. Comfort food if you will. I bet the chef is going to hate me saying this but to me it was a fancy version of hamburger helper which I know and love. My husband and I went here for Thanksgiving. I didn't think they would have a thanksgiving menu, but to our surprise they did. My husband ordered their turkey which also came with cranberry sauce, green beans, stuffing and mashed potatoes. All homemade. It looked delicious and he ate it all! I ordered the whole yellow tailed snappers off their regular menu. It was so incredibly good and not too many bones to eat around. This came with a side of rice and a ginger dipping sauce. The sauce was excellent and the rice I hardly touched. Highly recommend the dish though! We both ordered Key West Sunrise drinks which actually last the whole meal. They took an old home and converted it into a restaurant. Not your typical touristy food. We didn't have a reservation, but we managed to snag two seats at the bar. Great atmosphere.
