Can only speak to having drinks here, taking in the view and relaxing a bit. Their cocktails were excellent. Had a mocktail frozen key lime pie and it was refreshing. This place is known for their lobster pizza which we would have loved to have had, but just wasn't ready for a meal. Came by for lunch. Not very busy on Friday. Two of us tried to order basic orders. One was two meals and the other was a meal and a drink. Bartender took one of the orders (us standing at the bar) and came back for the other 5 minutes later. Both orders were messed up, we were missing one order, and the tabs were messed up despite the right card being placed with each receipt. The bartender was not very good and it wasn't even busy. We knew it wouldn't be possible to fix it after the fact. Food was great but not sure if I would come back again given the issues with the bartender. read more

If you are in Key West and do not stop by Seaside Cafe at the Mansion, you are seriously missing out. The setting alone is worth the visit. It is a beautiful outdoor space right near the beach, with tables set up under umbrellas and a charming bar that makes the whole experience feel relaxed and coastal. Sitting outside with the ocean breeze and a drink in hand was pure perfection. From the moment we arrived, everyone was incredibly warm and welcoming. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and you can tell they truly care about making your experience special. We tried both versions of the key lime pie and they were absolutely delicious, perfectly balanced, tart and sweet, with that creamy texture you hope for in a true Key West slice. The drinks were just as impressive especially for Happy Hour. The Key Lime Pie Martini is an absolute must. I am not exaggerating when I say it was one of the best dessert cocktails I have ever had. It tasted like a slice of pie in a glass, smooth, refreshing, and dangerously good. Beautiful outdoor setting, wonderful people, incredible desserts and cocktails. I could go on and on and on about how it's amazing but just do yourself a favor and go there and try it for yourself and you will thank me. The cafe had just opened and was getting busy thanks to the nearby Southernmost Point in US buoy tourist photo opp. I checked their Web site and found a code for 20% off food. Bingo! We enjoyed the lobster pizza, and we added extra lobster for $11 which turned out to be a good portion. Three of us had an adult bevvie- my $14 key lime pina colada was good, and the others liked their $9 key lime hard seltzer. The table and chairs are in the sand, which is such a fun experience! The cafe is literally steps from the ocean, and the view is amazing! Lots of birds were trying to join us for our meal, and employees walked around with spray bottles to ward them off which didn't work. The scenery is beautiful, you're sitting right on the water. The service is great, everyone is so pleasant and quick. The entire meal was spectacular! The watermelon margarita was handcrafted, none of those fake overly sweet mixers. The honey butter biscuits were as if a biscuit met a funnel cake, added lobster and turned it into a sandwich. The perfect mix of sweet and salty. The Lobster Bianca is a lobster pizza. They use fontina cheese which takes this pizza to another level. I'm surprised by the quality of the food here! The restaurant seems very "tourist trap" due to its proximity to the buoy, but the food was very good and high quality. The prices were reasonable for the quality. The drinks were super yummy and boozy, and the prices on those weren't bad either. The service was a little on the slower side, but it wasn't a big deal as the restaurant is on the water and nice to hang out around for a while. The vegan pizza was good and tasty; they didn't have a lot of vegan options on the menu. I got the pizza because it was customizable, so I got it without cheese and meat. The pizza tasted primarily of tomato paste with veggies. I wish they had more options outside of a salad. We started off with the Island Poke Cups (Marinated fresh Tuna, Guacamole, Seaweed Salad in a Ponzu Sauce topped with Sesame Seeds and a Drizzle of Spicy Mayo. Served in Plantain Cups). Probably one of the most fun apps I've had in a while. Amazing tuna and salad inside of the cutest, crispiest little cup you ever did see. Yummy and fun. Then we moved on to the main event, the The Seaside Café Signature Pizza - Lobster Bianca (Lobster, Cream Sauce, Fontina, Garlic Purée, Fresh Parsley). Lots of lobster, just the right amount of cause, a good cheese to go with the seafood, and the parsley actually sets it off nicely, a little herbaciousness. A nice, quaint little pie. What an amazing day! First time out exploring Key West and my wife and I are celebrating our 30th Anniversary. We've had a day of experiencing gorgeous views, fabulous drinks, and tantalizing food! We started off with the Coconut Shrimp for an appetizer, and I'll be hot damned if that Piña Colada dipping sauce wasn't actually the milk & honey I've been reading about flowing out of the Promise Land!! That sauce is to die for!!! That's all I wanted. I was basically done. Coconut battered fried shrimp floating in an ocean of that Piña sauce? That goes together like the waters of the Atlantic meeting the waters of the Gulf- it's just natural. I cannot not recommend that enough!! After that marital bliss in my mouth, we ordered the Seaside Signature Pizza, "Lobster Bianca!" Are you kidding me? This pizza was absolutely unreal! Wood fired pizza with hunks of lobster love lathered in cream sauce and garlic puree? The Little Mermaid in me wanted to belt out and sing Part of Your World from the Mansion rooftop next door. All in all, with the exquisite views, the absurdly beautiful company sitting across from me, and the robust and flavorful meal we just dined on, we couldn't be more thankful for the experience. We were walking around in the area and went to look at the mansion when we saw this cute little bar. It had cold drinks and fans, both of which were far too inviting after our long walk in the heat. Ashley was our bartender, and she was one of the best we've ever had! She was so much fun that it felt like drinking with a bunch of friends instead of just mere patrons alongside other patrons at a bar. I wish I could remember exactly what drinks I got but they were all awesome. Even the one with rock candy in it wasn't too sweet at all and I'm very sensitive to overly sweet drinks. What a great sunset experience on our first night in Key West! Sat at the upstairs bar. Was a little nervous at first because there was no bartender present and actually took a while for him to get up to us, but realized it was because he has to go downstairs to run all the food up. He busted his butt the 2 hours we were there. On point! Had a delicious caprese chicken sandwich with truffle fries and a few drinks. Bonus: they give everyone a free shot at sunset - bartenders choice (ours was grapefruit drop - delicious!). Definitely recommend for a quieter afternoon/early evening spot. The food and drinks were very good, but the service was a major disappointment. Our order was significantly delayed, and we weren't checked on while multiple tables that arrived after us received their food first. We were apologized to and "offered" another round of drinks due to the delay, but we were still fully charged for them, which didn't feel right since the only reason we ordered a second round was because our pizza took so long. The slow service also caused us to run over our parking time, which was stressful given the poor cell reception in the area. We still tipped, but overall the experience didn't feel worth it. We decided to have dinner here last night and what a great little spot on the water. We started with the conch fritters that were served with a honey lime mustard dipping sauce. You got 5 nice sized fritters that were cooked perfectly and not greasy at all. The fritters paired well with the sauce. Had a good experience at seaside cafe but nothing special. We sat outside on the beach and it was nice however chickens running around everywhere under the table which was kinda weird and uncomfortable. The service was up to par, nothing I notably noticed good or bad. We ordered the lobster biscuits and they really let me down. The biscuits were super hard and kinda dry and the lobster didn't seem very fresh and lacked a ton of flavor. We also added the spicy version which was supposed to be hot honey and jalapeños but we were given just regular honey and jalapeños on the side making it kinda pointless. The pizzas looked pretty good, especially the lobster pizza, they added a good amount of lobster to it. Downside of being so close to the water is constant swarming by birds and roosters but the staff did their best to keep them away. I love everything on their menu but some favorites are the coconut shrimp, the conch fritters, the island tuna poke salad, and of course the lobster pizza made with real MAINE lobster! We started with the garlic fries (with an AMAZING basil aioli) and coconut shrimp (HUGE, and came with a yummy pina colada dipping sauce). The lobster pizza came a few minutes later and IT WAS TOP NOTCH. So creamy, lots of garlic flavor, and plenty of lobster. Our 6 year old said lobster pizza is her new favorite pizza flavor. We arrived at Key West at around 3 pm, an odd time during which most places close for the afternoon. We were hungry, and after walking around in the heat, we decided to check out this place. They sectioned off an area of the beach and set up tables under umbrellas. Depending on what table you got, some had more sun that others. We decided to move and fortunately got a more convenient table. Considering that this restaurant was part of the Mansion, the prices were a little steep but understandable for a pricey property on Key West. The views were alright for sitting in the back, right on the beach, and with a nice view of chickens and their chicks, iguanas, etc. FWIW, I enjoyed the wildlife more than the food, though the food was decent. The Corona Extra I got was perfect for this hot day. I was also impressed with the poke bites I got and found them to be creative and refreshing during a hot day in May. read more

Pretty glad we stopped here to get some nice ocean views. Conveniently located right next to the southernmost point tourist monument stop. Had a wonderful salty margarita (frozen ice) and shared the cheese and lobster pizza in my group. Pizza was not fantastic but definitely above average and better than your local dominos. Great ambiance and not too crowded vibe helped to soak in the scenery. Definitely worth considering for a bite if you are in the area! read more
