I had a HORRIBLE experience here, I would give this place zero stars if I could!! I hope this review can prevent someone from having the same awful experience that I did at this salon. I came in two weeks ago for acrylics, based on the great Yelp reviews and the great prices. During the manicure, everything seemed okay although the nail tech seemed to rush every step of the process. She cut my nails quickly without filing them leaving the edges of my natural nail jagged, quickly glued on the extensions and filed them, then added a gel polish layer for $5 extra making it a $30 manicure. I didn't think much of it, hoping that although she was quick that the nails would last. They didn't even last two days. The nails felt flimsy and I soon discovered that although they looked okay, they were starting to lift and develop little pockets of air bubbles underneath where the glue hadn't been applied properly. Not only that but they hurt!! It felt like part of my nail was being pulled on. When I took a shower they actually started to peel off. I called nina's nail salon and they offered to have the same nail tech fix it but I was out of town and also why would I want to go back to a place where the nail tech had done a poor job in the first place? I went to another salon to get them fully removed since they were causing me so much discomfort and I didn't want to develop an infection from water getting trapped underneath the air bubbles. The lady there said it was one of the worst acrylic nail jobs she'd ever seen. My nails were left sore and one of them bloody from when the acrylic nail had popped off in the shower. I wish the saga ended there..but I decided to go back and ask for a refund and give them some feedback. My god they were so rude and downright mean. I explained what had happened and that because they had only lasted two days AND caused me pain that I felt entitled to a refund. Not only did the manager tell me she thought my documented photos and experience was a lie but she also told me it was MY fault for not coming back to the salon and the best she could offer was a coupon or gift card. I was shocked. This $30 nail job ended up costing me a lot more money, time, and discomfort! If you believe in the quality of your work and customer service you should offer a refund and an apology for a bad experience. Instead this escalated to her yelling at me in front of the other customers. When I told her I would be posting the review and pictures on Yelp she decided to give me my money back but claimed it was because I was only "a poor college student" and that she felt sorry for me. Unbelievable. And she tried to make me feel guilty for taking "their money" and that "shouldn't count on this happening again" are you kidding me? I'll never be back! The cherry on top was when I was leaving the salon trying to hold back tears she called out, " and you better not post that review." TLDR; at Nina's nails you get can get a poor quality nail job, bad customer service, and threats included, at no extra charge! read more

I brought my girlfriend here to have her nails done and was given 5 star service. Although I did not have my own nails done, I was offered drinks (water, Izze, Capri Sun, Gatorade) and chocolate while I waited in the very clean and air conditioned waiting area as I watched TV and enjoyed the free wifi. This is a brand new location so the bathroom was clean and overall the entire store is very modern. I'm going to start by saying that the oldest ladies are the best for pedicures because they're the most careful, but I'm not sure I'll be coming back anymore. First, one of the younger workers commented on my partner's acne-prone skin which was completely out of line and second, because after my visit today I realized that it doesn't matter that you're a regular, they will charge you however they see fit. I was charged $45 for a mani-pedi, when I was charged $40 the last time (mind you the menu says $30 for a mani-pedi and $5 for gel, so I should've gotten charged $35). When I asked why, they said it was because I got my nail polish removed which I'd never been charged for before. They didn't even ask me if I wanted that service or if i was ok with getting charged for it. When I complained, the lady that was charging me seemed bothered by the fact that I asked about the service and asked me if I was asked for the polish removal before the pedi. I said no and she began complaining to the other workers in a different language, then proceeded to tell me that I was getting charged $45 anyways. I thought this was rude and unprofessional and I won't be coming back if they're going to be taking advantage of their customers like that. read more

Needed a manicure/pedicure in between DR appointments and Nina Nails was the one closest, I just walked in. (They take appointments too). I was pleasantly greeted and asked what services I wanted. Very friendly and not pushy. It wasn't too busy (a Wednesday morning) so they did the manicure and pedicure at the same time. 1. Very gentle. Some places will wrench your hand fingers feet or toes to accommodate their reach or view. Not so, here. 2. Exceptional cleanliness. Packaged sterilized tools. They had a wide variety of different tools and they did not dip any tools used on my feet into communal scrubs or lotions as I've seen at other salons. Their spa chairs are comfortable, the foot tub at the chairs are not water jets, but air. They cover the tub with plastic and they insert these straws into the jet: you're safe and clean. 3. Tools. As they had a wide variety, they didn't Mickey Mouse anything. Some salons I've been to have used a nail cutter as a cuticle cutter, ouch. 4. They are THOROUGH. This is a big issue for me after cleanliness. They handled everything: cut, file, hangnails, (in my case- rogue pieces of cut nail that could cause infection or discomfort) getting the dirt out from under the nail, scraping cuticle from the toenails and the sides where your skin can trap sock lint or whatever, cutting the cuticles: wow it was crazy because I've NEVER had someone do all that, unless they were fresh out of school. Same with the manicure, it was well done. This salon is great. The prices are great. I got the hot oil manicure with gel color and the luxury pedicure with gel color. They do a scrub, massage, and with the pedicure they do the callus removal. Very effective. Everyone was very friendly, I had two sweet and stylish young people doing my nails, it was a happy atmosphere. Definitely will be coming back. I recommend giving this place a try. read more

This salon is clean, the nail technicians are friendly, and they have an amazing selection of nail polish. However, I was extremely dissatisfied with how my nails were painted. I came here once for a gel manicure and I may have just gotten stuck with a technician who just doesn't do a good job. The technician painted over my skin on multiple fingers and applied the nail polish so thick (I believe 6-7 coats) that my nail polish began chipping and peeling within a couple of hours. The work was incredibly sloppy. I ended up easily peeling off the nail polish on all my fingers that same evening, and got my nails re-done elsewhere the next day as I was a Bridesmaid in a wedding. I only came here once for a gel mani, so I feel bad for this negative review based on a single experience. Nevertheless, my experience was pretty poor and I will never come back here again. read more

My daughters and I recently visited this establishment. Very nice employees, very clean chairs (yes, this place is still very new) and nice big screen tv to watch. I love how they did a good job on my 8 year olds nails. Other salons rush over her prob because she is young. Here, they treated her just like the paying customer she is . The lady who did my nails started first and finished last. Everyone moves at different paces, but the most important thing is the final product. Very well done. I will be back as a regular customer. Update: less than a week after I had my nails done, they started peeling. I paid an extra $10, plus extra for French, and it didn't last as it should have. My gel manicure peeled off after only 1 week. I've been getting gel manicures for years, and they always last at least 2 weeks. Great prices for pedicures and other services. But poor customer service this is my second time bein disappointed by their service. They have hired new employees but I guess they don't force on the expectations that should be required. The first incident was when one of the new guy cut my toe and since I brought my own nail polish he still had the nerve to complain bc I didn't bring a nail polish to apply after my nails where dried. Second time was on Friday night got the usual pedicure the "the new girl" dos not scrub or massage my feet because according to her excuse I was wearing jeans! So she just cut my nails n put my nail polish I brought from home! After I complained to Cindy her excuse was that she was new and she didn't know she told me she could only take $4 off wow I told her it was not my fault she was new and she didn't know what she was doin. I give 2 starts just because I didn't have to wait long and the girls were welcoming, but I had been coming here before because it is close to where I live but I rather drive a little farther and get a good job done where they sterilize everything and are careful not cutting so much on your toes. I had a pedicure done and got the last 2 times my toes so infected and painful lasting over 5 days with the infection, but the last time I went I really wanted to give them another chance and that was it. they kept digging and even the girl called the owner to help her bcz my toe kept bleeding and was persistent in still cutting the skin on side of toe when my nail looked already all crooked from cutting my nail too and kept digging on side. I kept asking her to stop, and they both said they had to remove that piece and I refused bcz it was painful already the toe kept bleeding, my pedicure was awful looking swollen, red, tender and pus coming out for days. Will never go back again to this place!!! if u want to pay for an infection or even loose your nail go to this place will be perfect to give u this. This happened like 5 months ago and had never gone back. my daughter used to go there and saw how they're not careful when they do the pedicure that she stopped too and all my friends. But what upset me most they still charged me for the shetty job they did not even apologized or discounted me anything, then they speak a lot on their language when someone complaints about something u can tell they talk about people bc they look at that person with an evil look and all of them stare at that particular person who complaints. They only have certain gel colors in polish so you're very limited. The girl who did my nails was very careless, she insisted on digging a hang nail that didn't need digging. Went there for a mani/pedi. I got the young girl that always wears tight little shorts. Terrible experience!!!!! She is very aggressive and painful. Second time I get her. She's always rushing. She hurt me multiple times and cut me in various parts. I had to tell her as I yelled ouch!! You hurt me!! She didn't care or apologize but looked offended. She cut my finger so bad that it became infected and I went back a couple days letter to show them. I asked to speak to the manager and she was busy working on a client. I was given dirty looks and the gal that did my nails began to speak Asian with the other ladies. They were all giving me dirty looks and tapping away in foreign language. They have that bad habit here. . I waited for what seemed like forever and ended up walking out. I will never return. Painful experience and dangerous because getting cut can lead to worse than an infection and pain. I was in pain fir a week!!!!
